1 bedroom cottage newly renovated and fully equipped, sleeps up to five people.3-minute walk to snug harbor marinas. walk to water, walk to East Matunuck beach or Matunuck Oyster bar, and all the local restaurant's it's a five-minute drive to route 1 that takes you to all the local beaches, take advantage of the local boat launch, our cottage comes with outdoor shower, grill, lawn furniture, propane firepit.

The cottage was comfortable and spacious, it has a large area in the back that is spacious with a fire pit ,chairs, table and large grill. There is a marina a short walk down the street that has a reasonable priced snack bar where you can sit and look at the boats while having breakfast or lunch. The landlord is a nice guy and very responsive. He returned my security deposit immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

The host was very accommodating and communitive during the check in process. Inside was adorable, comfortable cottage. Huge backyard with grill and gas firepit was wonderful. It was pet friendly. We would definitely come back... even our beagle, Penny, gives it 5 stars.

The owners are responsive and the location was nice. However, I was surprised at how little it was stocked. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by other owners, but there weren’t any spices (except salt and pepper), no shampoo, no beach towels, not even a hair dryer. Adding a few common amenities would make this 5 stars.

Long weekend for Anniversary

Nice long weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and clean. It was a good location—2 min drive to East Matunuck Beach and close enough to Route 1 to get to Wakefield and Narragansett easily.

Nice cottage

The house was cozy. Everything we needed was there. It was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Wish it hadn’t rained so much so we could have enjoyed the awesome backyard.

4th of July

We were in snug harbor to visit our son, daughter-in-law and her family!!! The parade was wonderful bringing back memories of the kind of parades we used to go to years ago!!! We had front row seats at the cottage Tom is a great host and very responsive!!! Nothing like Snug Harbor in the summer !!!!!

Great week

The property worked out very well. It was very clean, well stocked and in close proximity to anything you’d want or need. A great neighborhood to take the dog for a walk. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Charming Beach Cottage

A lovely, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable beach property. Close to the beach with lovely walking routes. Best restaurant in the area for seafood nearby. Full size washer & drawer are great! Beautiful landscaping and a lovely backyard to enjoy outdoor grilling and fire pit. Owner very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again.

This is a small, but nice house. The only downside was no dishwasher, but it was not advertised as having one. The neighborhood and property manager were great!

Cute and clean

My wife and I stayed at property while visiting our son at URI. Plenty of room for 2 people and very clean. Driveway/parking right in front of entrance to house so very easy to load and unload. We didn’t use the backyard but very spacious with bbq and fire pit area. Checking in was very easy with keypad. Kitchen seem to have all utensils. There were both a coffee maker and keureg machine so we wished we had brought our own grind or k-cup. 10-15 minutes to URI campus. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend property.

Great place to get away!

This was a great hub for us while we beach hopped. The house was well furnished and the backyard was suited to host a small get together (cookout, evening fire, etc). Ample parking for small groups as well. We would recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in an area with a neighborhood vibe. We even got into a routine of saying hello to the neighbors in the morning when letting the dog out.

Neat and well-kept cottage and property. Nice location for getting to other areas we wanted to explore and close to a great beaches and the Matunuck Oyster Bar.

Our short stay at 285 Gooseberry Rd. So. Kingston, RI

Very small even for 2 people. Needs a mat in the shower...very slippery. No ice cube trays or coffee filters. Bathroom extremely small. You get out of the shower and nearly fall into the toilet. Lovely outside area. The owner was very very nice and helpful.
