Stylish Studio on ICW w Sargent Beach Views

Kick back and relax in this calm and cozy gem on the ICW with an amazing view of Sargent beach. Sit in the patio facing the ICW and the beach or come down to enjoy BBQ fire pit and fishing on the ICW. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the water front . The windows in the living area makes you feel close to nature even while in. The studio style interior with queen bed and 3 pull out beds is perfect for a couples retreat or a group up to 6 . Washer dryer and full stocked kitchen for longer stays.

THE HOUSE - Hidden Pearl
Living space is on the second floor.Down stairs we have created a space to hang out and fish or enjoy the nature with company.

DOWNSTAIRS

There is a bbq/fire pit with beautiful (locally handmade) chairs . We also have a outdoor dinning table/picnic table to enjoy food off the pit! The house is right on the ICW, enjoy fishing or watching the nature.

UPSTAIRS

Living area

The living space you enter and feel like you are still part of the nature. The huge bay windows
looks out not only to the ICW but also to the ocean beyond the ICW.

Bedroom space

The bedroom is separated from living area by a screen. The queen bed and the desk makes it great for a romantic get away or ‘work from the beach’ days!

We had so much fun with the whole family. The best was not one, but two pods of dolphins swimming by right in front of the house.

I love this house so much! The property owners are so helpful and it looked exactly like it did in the photos! I’ve stayed in many houses in the area and this one was my favorite! Perfect for a weekend getaway!

We had a good time and the place was great. Perfect for a small family. Really liked the fact pets were welcome. The fishing was really good, even with the inclement weather. Only suggestion is to have a number to call in case of emergencies. We had an issue with the door not locking but couldn't get a hold of the owner until the next day. Hate to sleep in an unlocked house....Of course, Priya took care of everything right away and the rest of the trip was really good. We'd definitely stay here again.

Loved Every Minute!!

My daughter and I went for three nights, house is very nice and our favorite place was the outside deck!! Beautiful scenery and love watching the seagulls and pelicans fly by. House was well stocked and very comfortable, plan on going back soon!

Stay at home fishing trip

Unfortunately, the beachfront and Mitchell's Cut is no longer accessible by vehicle due to storm damage. The rental unit is nice and ICW waterfront allows for easy fishing. I recommend this place.

This home was perfect. Small quaint home in the inside and several large sitting areas outside of home. Fishing was awesome. A variety of fish ! Everyone had an amazing experience.

Anniversary Trip

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed. The only issue was the bridge on 201 was closed so there is a pretty significant detour. Expected completion is 11/9. Power went out twice and we lost tv and internet. None of these things were in the control of the property owner. The home was wonderful.

Pics give false appearance of size

Only used place to shower and sleep and did not have attendance as planned. So I cant speak to anything else. Glad if was just two of use as the place is fine for couple or couple with kids but not ideal if you have group of adults that it says it can hold. Bedroom separated by curtain, and pics are suggestive of larger space. No actual issues at all with check in/out of the stay.

Quiet, peaceful and great fishing

Rented this place for my birthday and was very pleased. The water was very deep in the middle and was able to hook up with some huge stingrays at the bottom. The chairs are nice to just lounge while letting your fishing rods do the work in the holders provided. The crabbing was not the best when we went but different seasons for different species. The interior was compact but comfy. Had everything we needed though I do wish the cleaning services would have taken the full trash can out beforehand but no biggie. Communication was very quick and helpful. It was nice the owner allowed me to bring my other pups together and it made a world of difference when I was there. So much so that I plan to rebook regularly there. Views were great as well. You can see the ocean but not hear it (Kind of nice when you want peace and quite). Very quite community and no loud music, partying, etc. Some of the reviews complain about small things but those should not effect how nice this place is. The mosquitos can be bad this time of year so plan accordingly with sprays. A future fishing dock and lights would be a very nice addition just a FYI haha Will be visiting again very soon!

No shower, charged more that advertised

I received a call on the way from the owner telling me the shower was not working, but they would have it repaired soon. We could use the shower next door. The shower was not fixed until our last day. As compensation he would not charge us for one night. Additionally, the ice maker did not work, the dryer did not work, and the only half the ground floor light turned on. The repair person placed a dehumidifier in the bathroom blocking the entrance. I was charged full price for the entire stay and not the advertised price. I spoke to the owner and he stated he would refund one day and the additional charges. 3 days later, no refund. I would not stay with this owner again, he can not be trusted.

Keeps getting better! Love this place

Came here for my 2nd stay since the first trip was that awesome! I did notice there was some improvements made which is nice to see the owner is caring about keeping her clients happy. I love the new green flood light on the water for night fishing. Super bright and lights up the whole canal! Managed to catch a 38" redfish and a small shark with tons of sandtrout. Me and my pups had a fantastic stay and will return in cooler weather to target more redfish in the coming weeks.

Needs Sprucing Up!

It REALLY could have been a much nicer experience. Overall we had a good time outback crabbing and fishing but there are some things that need to be done to attract repeat customers and get positive review. PROS: Great location, Small but good use of n/outdoor spaces & Adequately clean but stuffy CONS: 1. AC - The ac is obviously set on a timer—set to 81 and we repeatedly tried to lower it following the direction on the paper and switching it to “run” mode. It was barely cool when we arrived around 6:30 PM and during the heat of the day. We could not get the house cold enough and It REALLY could have been a much nicer experience. It didn’t get comfortable until after 1:00 am both nights. 2. The bed needs a headboard and the linens are old. Glad we brought our own. The visibly old/worn bed linen w/torn plastic mattress cover made the area look aged. The bath towels were also dingy. 3. In the living area, the ottomans/covers should be replaced - tan very worn/wrinkled and the white one has stains all over it. 4. The couch could also use a good deep cleaning and the cushions on the window seats have a few stains. . 5. Outside lights- It would be great if there were fishing lights or more lights downstairs for nighttime fishing or sitting out near the water. 6. Larger numbers on the house or mailbox would make the house easier to find along with updating outside photos on the VRBO site. 7. The microwave above the stove should be replaced or a note to not use. We turned on the vent fan while cooking and it didn’t go off for hours— 8:00pm till after midnight. Glad there was a second microwave on the counter. Prayers for continued success in renting out this place—- It REALLY could be much nicer with a little investment in some key areas.
