Welcome to Still Steel Beachin'!

This cute cottage is clean and comfortable! Perfect for a couple, small family or a few friends to enjoy some time on the coast.

Located on the Intercoastal Waterway, the views and fishing are hard to beat. You are sure to love watching the barges, pelicans and dolphins go by in the ICW. Walk just across the street to get to the beach too!

The home has 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom upstairs. The sofa is a pullout bed and there is also a foldout floor mattress that is great for children. There is a full kitchen with all of the basics, as well as wifi and Smart TV.

On the ground level, there is an outdoor shower with privacy walls. There is a bathroom and washer/dryer combo in the ground level room as well.

Private pier equipped with green fishing light and cleaning station.

There is a charcoal grill available for guests, as well as outdoor seating and a chiminea!

Enjoyed our stay

Peaceful, quiet area. House was clean and had everything we needed. Nice beach area for long walks and nice dock for fishing. We had a couple small issues on check in, but they were quickly resolved.

The property is great. Clean, comfortable bed. Can't beat the dock on the Intercoastal Waterway. You can walk across the street to the beach. This is my only complaint. Unless it is low tide there is no beach, just granite rocks placed for beach erosion. However you can drive down the road to a beach access and have a wide, fairly secluded beach. About 1/2 mile. You can walk if you don't have a lot to carry. But the property was great.

This is a great stay for a couple with up to a couple of kids

This is a great property for those to want to explore, especially if you can make use of the surf across the road. The best attribute is the green light which always seem to draw better fishing than the typical white lights on private piers. Usually, green light supported piers come at a higher cost, so for that reason alone, this is a bargain. We unfortunately were there just 2 nights and were at the mercy of changing weather conditions, and did not attempt the choppy waters of the surf. We are not chasers of the "big" fish but just want to focus on some seafood to bring home. On that, we whiffed, but mostly due to weather, and there was a weird trend that crabbing was not fruitful (we think it was weather related as well). However, the option to use the pier in quiet weather at night and walking across the street to the ocean is a great concept, especially at a highly competitive price. The property is cleaned well and is great for an introductory visit to Sargent. My rating on the experience is closer to 4.5 stars (weather corrupted), but if you can catch a great weather pattern, it could be a steal as compared to similar lighted pier stays that typically cost about 100 dollars more per night. The outdoor shower for beach go'ers is also a nice touch.

Nice get away!

The place was perfect for my son and I. It was very clean upon our arrival. We had a lot of fun fishing off of the dock. The sunsets are beautiful.

peaceful getaway

We enjoyed having our coffee on the front balcony facing the beach and sitting in the back facing the intercoastal canal. Liked that the beach was so easy to get to from the house. Had a great time fishing off the dock. We caught several fish. The house was clean and comfortable. All around great place to stay for a peaceful getaway.

Nature Experience

Lovely property. Unbelievable sunsets over creek. Fabulous fishing. Access to beach is directly across front yard. Its off the beaten path, had beach to ourselves everyday.

Weekend fishing trip

We had the BEST time! The renovations are amazing. The cabin is beautiful and the perfect size for a couple of small family. The dock on the ICW was great for fishing and we caught some really large fish and dozens of small ones. Everything was clean and the bed is very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely AWESOME!!

We will definitely come back to this place. The home was perfect, cute, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The covered dock was great to hangout on and fish from, with green light, seating, and cleaning station. The beach was right across the road. Hosts were great and even gave us fishing tips!! So much fun!!

Awesome spot for a long fishing weekend.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The posting was thorough (and 100% accurate upon arrival), booking was extremely simple, and communication prior to my arrival was thorough without being obtrusive.While it's a simple beach cottage, it's *spotlessly* clean, beautifully well-appointed, and is not missing a single thing. The front porch looking toward the beach is a great place to relax. The kitchen is spacious and lacks nothing. The furniture is comfortable and the bathroom is a great size, even if it's shared. The utility room under the house is large, clean, and great for storing gear (and has ice available for sale, very convenient). The bathroom in the utility room is clutch, too; that should be standard in properties like this.For fishermen, the private pier is the standout for the property. Shade, space, rod holders, a bench, lighting, electricity, and a cleaning station with running water. We spent hours there each day and enjoyed every minute.A friend & I spent a long weekend there, and I will definitely be back with my family. On that note, for others who may be in a similar family situation: my wife & I have two teenage sons; this property would be great for the four of us for a long, say 4-day weekend stay. Any longer than that and we would likely want a larger property. This is not intended to be a negative comment! It's a function of space, and hopefully helpful to others considering a future stay.I recommend this property without hesitation!

Great little spot!

We really enjoyed it. Fishing was as expected for this time of year, but we still had fun. Crab traps were a hit with the kids. Having the ICW in the back yard and the beach across the street was perfect.
