Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. You can have a fun day or evening in Elkhart, 5 min drive to the downtown. South Bend and Norte Dame are only a short 15 min drive. At the home you will have endless fun with the waterfront/deck/playset and pool! This calm stretch of the St Joseph River is perfect for boating , fishing and canoeing/kayaking. The hot tub is opened year round and the pool is opened from Memorial Day to Labor Day, unless spoken to owner and told differently.

My Daughter's Wedding was small. Brides family used the prperty as a local hosting location for accommodating out of town family and guests.Beautiful spacious home. Accommodation were fabulous.

Home was super spacious, lots of room and places to gather, lots of couches & very comfortable. Home was very clean, kitchen well stocked to prepare food. Only issue we had is that there were 2 empty propane tanks so we couldn’t grill our dinner and had to cook our chicken in oven and the burgers on stove instead. Wonderful host, definitely an excellent value for the room & space. We would come back, thank you for having us!

Annual Family weekend

Our family gets together once a year for a extended weekend and this rental worked out GREAT. There was more than enough room. The place was very clean and the pool was a big bonus.

Great house, Great Time

My family really enjoyed this house. It was clean, family friendly and was the perfect location for all of the different age groups we had there. The owners were great and super easy to work with and very responsive to our questions. It is also a great location. Grocery stores are nearby, it's close to ND and even a cool little zoo.

Great Family retreat

We had a reunion of immediate family and it was a great place to all stay and enjoy each other, and the house. Kids ( and adults) could spend time in the pool, fish, boat, etc. I would recommend this place for medium to larger groups as a great gathering place. River view is very peaceful.

Wonderful Retreat

We are so grateful this was the choice for our weekend getaway. The home was beautiful, peaceful with great views, and had so much to offer. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and kayaks which were outstanding. There was plenty of comfortable seating inside and out to relax and our hosts left smores fixins for us! Wonderful home, great hospitality, couldn't be happier!

Sister Retreat Getaway

We truly enjoyed this property. Everything was clean and ready to go. The welcome gift was also nice. I had a sister retreat with friends and it met all of our needs. The outside area was really fun and a serene peaceful environment. Would definitely stay there again.

Great amenities!

we enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect cool often after a long hot day out. Hot tub wasn’t added bonus as we were playing tennis and it helped us relax our muscles at night. The living room was nice and large host. Everyone at night to play games and hang out.

Great location for ND football.

House was great. You can definitely pack a lot of people comfortable in this home. The only negative for me was the lack of attention to the maintenance of the property around the house.

Hosts so Helpful!

Had a great time. We needed to contact the hosts about something and their responsiveness was like no others. I've done a number of VRBO's and these folks were the fastest responders ever. The home is very large and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. The area is very quiet (of course boat activity) and great for adults and kids.

1st Time Experiencing a Notre Dame Football Game

The location was perfect… the owner was responsive and helpful…we were 8 people 3 dads… 5 kids ranging from 9 - 26…. Plenty of room and bathrooms for all. The fire pit was awesome… we had a pool and kayaks but did not use it due to time constraints…. Wish we stayed longer… The house was clean and the welcome s’mores package and bottle of wine was greatly appreciated… If your going to a Notre Dame game it’s perfect…not too far from the stadium… if you want to enjoy the St. Joseph River… you can’t ask for more….they have a boat house but I believe they are working on rebuilding their pontoon boat… so that was off limits…bring your fishing poles. We’ll be back… 🇺🇸👌

Plenty of room, beautiful river view

This property had plenty of room for gathering friends and family. The bedrooms on the main floor are large and the beds are comfortable. One very minor thing is that it would have been nice to have a table or rack to set our suitcases on rather than having them open on the floor. We had 5 adults and no children in our group so we did not use the lower level other than using some of the additional pillows and blankets that were down there. We did not use the pool, grill or water sport equipment that was available. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to take care of an issue in a very timely manner. She also checked with me to insure all was well.

The property was not very clean inside and outside. We couldn't find almost any of the remotes for TV's and ceiling fans. Two of them were down in the couch and didn't find the ceiling fan remote until last night when cleaning up. Numerous screens were ripped and the attempted duct tape repair was not working very well. Trash was overflowing in two trash cans and recycle can at curb was partially blocking driveway on arrival. My son is large and he was trying to move shower head in upstairs shared bathroom and the faucet broke. I apologize for this and it happened the last day so did not have time to repair. There were no hand towels in any of the bathrooms and we had to buy extra paper supplies in kitchen and bathrooms. King bedroom fan remote is cracked. Shed with kayak oars was locked and no code provided. Beautiful, user friendly property and nice neighborhood. We would definitely return again with more supplies of our own. Pool had been shocked but definitely needed swept. Thank You!

The oars are in the chest in the pool deck and accessible to guests at all times. The home was deep cleaned twice before you arrival due to the recent storms. We are also working on the screens again the storms caused this. Thank you for letting us know about the hand towels and remotes we will make sure to communicate this to our cleaning team.

Amenities were not operational; however, there was a bad storm before we arrived which likely contributed. Pool and hot tub not functional. Maintenance issues throughout home and grounds. Lots of small things like bulbs missing, all clocks no batteries, etc. 3 total real beds and 6 bunk beds including trundles with thin mattresses useable but not comfortable. Might be good for larger group if amenities usable but bring blankets towels ice wine glasses etc. Views from deck are beautiful. Deck is nice.

Yes the storm hit the day before you came and we fixed everything we saw. The pool and hot tub were taken care of upon your arrival and fully functional.
