Northern Escape on Kathan lake

Our cabin has something special to offer no matter what the season. Enjoy the summer fun exploring our private, 210 acre lake, on the provided rowboats, canoes, paddle boat, kayaks or paddleboard's. Or take your own boat to the countries largest chain of lakes only minutes away. Looking for some thrills on the land? Bring or rent an ATV or UTV to explore the beautiful north woods on the trails surrounding the area.

In the fall there is no better place to see the colors than right in the middle of them, The woods explode with color and there are plenty of fall festivals and farmer markets to enjoy.

If your a winter person there no better place to settle in than our cabin which is right across the street from the snowmobile trail system that will keep you going for hundreds of miles. Or dig out the snow snoes or cross country skis and enjoy nature from within on any number of the hiking/ cross country ski trail systems. If fishing is your thing you can catch a meal or two ice fishing on our lake or any of the numerous lakes in the area.

Our cabin has 2 bedrooms ( a king and a queen bed), screened-in porch, shared playground. rowboats, canoe, and paddleboat's and kayaks are available.

Enjoy the privacy of this peaceful setting while you vacation.

Remove all garbage, it can be taken to the dumpsters in the bar/grill's parking lot. Please leave the cabin in the same condition as when you arrived.

Wonderful experience

My wife and I booked this spot to celebrate our our anniversary and go to cranberry festival. Worth it! The host was so accommodating and very thorough on expectations of leaving the cabin as you found it. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet little spot. Absolutely lovely. The bar and grill near by is a neat spot as well.

Tiny kitchen but you're on vacation not cooking for a family reunion. Very clean and comfortable. Nice to have the lake close you could have morning coffee on the shore. Will definitely come back

Weekend in the Northwoods

We chose this particular location because it was near to the area my wife grew up in and we spent a great deal of time in early in our marriage. It was a great location, very well kept cottage, and the nearby bar and grill was very nice and friendly. I would recommend it highly.

Great getaway in North Woods

Really nice property. Very clean and has all of the necessary kitchen dishes and cookware for a comfortable stay. Very nice Internet TV! Close to Eagle River.

Very nice stat

Well equipped and clean. Loved the screened porch. Might wish to think about gravel in front so we would not track on so much sand. Stripped the beds. Cleaned the bath and kitchen. Vaccumed everywhere cuz a clean camp is a happy camp. Thanks very much.

As a child my family would vacation in the Eagle River area each summer, this tradition continued with my own family. I have always wanted to have a place of my own in the area where we could enjoy and share the northern experience with others.

This cabin is located on a quiet, private lake, but is only minutes from downtown Eagle River, and only 30 minutes from Minocqua.
Snowmobile, ATV, and biking trails are endless. There are also countless lakes to choose from if fishing or recreational boating is what you're looking for.
