Welcome to Tybee Island!
Captain Royce's cottage was completely renovated in 2019.
This cozy home is located on beautiful 2nd Avenue, which is Tybee Island's Bike path, so be sure to bring your own bicycles or plan to rent them while visiting. This is the best way to see all of Tybee! Make sure to sit on the front porch and enjoy your cocktails as walkers, runners, and bikers stroll down our beautiful quiet street! It is the best Street on Tybee!
The nearest beach access is only two blocks away and the home is only a few minutes walk to the Pier, restaurants, and shopping. Enjoy the sunrise on Tybee Island Beach and sunsets on Back Beach, all within walking distance from this perfectly located home.
The home features two separate living spaces (outside stairs go to the upstairs unit. No interior stairs). It is perfect for two families and the upstairs unit features gorgeous heart of pine flooring throughout, open living space with plenty of seating, a large 60" tv, brand new kitchen with microwave, refrigerator with ice on the door, dishwasher, and range/oven with a smooth top range. Enjoy afternoons on the huge porch overlooking the bike path. The gorgeous bathroom features a huge walk-in shower. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and tv. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a full-size bed and twin bed, closet, and tv. There is also a full-size washer and dryer.
The comfortable mid-century modern downstairs living space has great amenities including a big screen tv, and a huge comfortable sofa, which is open to the custom kitchen with a smooth top range/oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are two large bedrooms that are connected, one with a queen-size bed, closet, and tv, and the other with a full-size bed, closet, and TV. The renovated bathroom has a large tub/shower. There are 4 parking spaces for our guests.
There is a shower in the backyard with hot and cold water, a large picnic table, outdoor seating, and a front porch swing. Enjoy playing corn hole in the large front yard.
This property is ideal for families looking for a laid-back and quiet getaway.

The house is very cute and located near restaurants, shops and the walkway to the beach. We were able to all stay together with the house having 2 separate living quarters.

Everything was perfect! We traveled from Michigan and arrived early and Anastasia was kind enough to let us check in early. We were close to everything. Short distance to the beaches, shops, golfing and Savannah. It was also nice to have the separate space for our teenage sons downstairs. Would recommend this to anyone traveling to Tybee Island!

Beautiful home located just blocks from the beach. It was nice to be within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the grocery store. It was great to be on the bike route. We rented bikes and it was a fun way to explore the island. The property was very clean and the host was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay at this place again.

Anastasia was a great hostess! Both levels were outfitted with all the extra fun things like beach towels, wagon, chairs and beach essentials! We were also able to make dinner full dinners easily and appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood!

Beautiful and clean beachhouse
Our stay here was amazing! The house was perfect for our family. It was very clean and welcoming. The owner was so kind, friendly, and responded quickly when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Great location.
We loved this house. It was perfect for our two families, 4 adults and 5 kids, five and under. It was great for the little kids and an easy walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. Definitely recommend for a family, very safe and comfortable area.

Beachy House
We loved staying at this house. It had everything that we needed, great space, proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Manager was wonderful, friendly, and available when needed. We plan to come back.

Ideal property for 4th of July at Tybee
Property was very clean and well stocked with everything our family of 5 needed for a 4th of July vacation at Tybee. The kitchens and bathrooms were new and well equipped and we made use of the outdoor shower when coming home from the beach. Perfect location and a great overall property!

So close to everything
We loved this home. Was perfect for a couples getaway. We loved how close to everything it is. Felt very homey. The Hosts are very nice and right next door if you need anything. We love tybee and look forward to coming back next year.

Perfect time in Tybee
Wonderful time in tybee. The beach access was a short walk and we enjoyed the beach wagon. House was perfect for 8-10 people the walk down town was close. We enjoyed the upstairs rain shower! Would love to return

We purchased this amazing home in 2019 and spent almost a full year completely renovating the home! This was intended to be our part-time vacation home but we found ourselves on Tybee almost every week. We love the ability to walk to IGA, all of the wonderful local restaurants, and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, especially South beach in the afternoons! We were lucky to be able to buy a lot on 2nd Avenue and have built our forever home here.

This home was the home of Captain Royce, who lived in the home with his family for over 40 years. He was the grand marshall of the Beach Bum parade and everyone loved him.

The front porch is our favorite place for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. There are always so many happy families walking and riding by!
