"SALTY CABANA" - 1 block to the beach!

This CLEAN and comfortable duplex has 1 bedroom & 1 bath with ample separate parking for 2 vehicles. This space is suited for 2 people, but it could accommodate a 3rd person or a child on the futon. Linens provided at no charge. There is a fenced backyard perfect for pets.

We have an assortment of beach essentials that varies, and you are welcome to use the items. The beach is only a short 1 block walk away!

This is a simple, clean vacation rental that has everything you need for a relaxing vacation very close to the beach. SALTY CABANA is the right side of a 1 level beach style duplex. There is plenty of private free parking for 2 vehicles right in front of the house.

Step outside to a fenced backyard (No neighbors behind the house, just an empty lot.) Take a short 5-block stroll to the Kure Beach Pier, local restaurants, and shops.

Inside is an open area floorplan with the living room and kitchen for hanging out. There is a small area to sit and eat.

The full bathroom has a large and clean tiled shower, and towels are provided.

The bedroom features a comfortable & clean Queen bed with a TV.

If you have an extra guest or child, the futon in the living room folds flat to make a sleeping area. Please note this is a pleather futon and is very firm. We have sheets for this sleeping area as well.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials to cook a delicious meal. After a day in the sun, rinse off in the private outdoor hot shower or unwind in the spacious indoor shower.

Best of all, your furry friends are welcome, please crate your dog when you are not inside.

My only complaint was the bedroom air conditioner light was sooooo bright. Maybe it’s just us, but we like it very dark when we sleep. We “fixed” the issue by taping a piece of dark paper over the light. More ice trays would be good to have. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend it to others for short stays.

My family and I loved Salty Cabana!!! It was so comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The check in process was simple and our host was very fast to respond to questions. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was wonderful with a short walk to the beach, pier, arcade, and restaurants. We will definitely be rebooking!

This is a delightful place! It was a great place to stay with my pup! It's a short walk to the beach and has plenty of yard space for your pup. It was easy to get in touch with the hosts and an easy check-in.

Great walking area

We enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to walk to the beach, food & the pier! The cabana is definitely older, but also clean & cool. The hot water was great!! Having the outside shower was plus with 4 people. Only thing I wished for was a covered porch/patio area. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Chill Vibes, Close to the Beach, and Dog-Approved

This cozy “cabana” was the perfect escape for me and my dog, Cocoa (queen of sand and side-eye). It’s only about 100 yards from the sand—close, but far enough that you’re not crunching sand in your bed like it’s a seasoning.Inside was spotless, comfy, and had actual closet and cabinet space. I unpacked. Fully. No laundry goblin piles on a chair. I felt like I had my life together. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to pretend I was going to cook more than once. (I did not. But I could have.)The indoor shower is definitely on the fun-sized side—sneeze too hard and you might concuss yourself—but it’s beautifully tiled and feels like a tiny spa for people who bathe with their elbows tucked in. The outdoor shower was the real MVP. Great for de-sanding after beach adventures, and Cocoa enjoyed watching me from a safe, dry distance with mild disdain.Let me say this loud for the people in the back: blazing fast. Not “it works if you stand near the router” fast. I’m talking full-bars, Netflix-binging, Zoom-call-ready fast. No buffering, no rage. Rare. Beautiful. A beach miracle.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet—no mysterious thumping from next door. Just sleepy streets. And shoutout to the host for not leaving me a dissertation of checkout rules. Just take out your trash and do your dishes. Simply revolutionary.Bonus win: beach chairs in the shed! Because nothing says “I’ve got my stuff together” like sitting comfortably at the beach.

Cute apartment with easy access & parking. Full kitchen. Nice, artful use of space in the bathroom, looks newly updated. Comfy bed. Nice neighborhood for walking. Short jaunt to the beach. Local seafood shop & restaurants. Short drive to Carolina Beach State Park & Good Hops Brewery - two of our favorite places to visit when we are in the area. Nice weekend getaway. No big issues. Wished an outdoor grill had been available to grill our fresh NC fish, minor detail.

Amazing Hosts

To start, the hosts are extremely kind! The are very very accommodating and just all around excellent. The home is extremely clean. It was a true pleasure to stay at the Salty Cabana. Definitely consider this property. We were able to sleep a family of four with no problems.

Great stay

Overall great experience. My only complaint is the house smelled like cigarettes, but you got used to it. The bed was comfy and the outdoor shower was lovely. Had everything you needed and close to restaurants and bars.

Cute home, great location!

This location alone really makes it worth the stay. Located on the south end of Kure Beach its a little quieter. Only took about three minutes to walk to the beach, a few minutes more to restaurants near by. The place was a quiet, cute little one bedroom. Everything you need for your stay! Would definitely come back and stay here again. Outdoor shower is a big plus!

The property manager is fantastic! She was very helpful and there for anything we needed. The house was cute and VERY clean. The bad news? There's only AC in the bedroom. Not so bad in May, but not so fun in August!

Perfect location 3-4 minute walk to beach. Close to pier and restaurants but nice and quiet. Dog friendly was a plus. Hosts were responsive and provided a short video before we arrived.

Perfect little getaway!!

We had the best stay at the salty cabana!! It was perfect for me, my husband, and our pup! It was in a great location. We were within walking distance of multiple restaurants, super close to everything in Carolina Beach, plus a super short walk to the beach access! Already can’t wait to be back!
