Great local location away from the hustle

We loved staying at this quiet place away from the hustle. It felt like being in a local area, but was an easy walk into the action. Loved the Venetian styling. Josef was great to deal with. We will be back!

Beware: Active Construction Site

The building is under significant construction - noisy, dusty and potential hazards. Had to walk over the digging on loose planks to reach the entrance. Minimal to no lighting in common areas. Host did not disclose and blamed everything on the building. Demanded cash for tourist tax on arrival.

Nice property but beware of courtyard construction

The property is nice and spacious, however the outside of the building and courtyard are going through some construction/renovations. Therefore, you enter the courtyard and are literally walking through a construction zone prior to getting to the property. There are tools and machinery laying around and very dim lighting if any. You need to walk over springy planks to get from the start of the courtyard to the steps. Host did not disclose that there was construction in the vicinity and that you would need to walkthrough to access the property. I am sure with the construction is complete it will be a lovely place. But at the current time, we did not realize we booked a property in a construction zone. If disclosed properly we would have potentially made the decision to stay somewhere else. The apartment was very spacious and fully stocked as described.

Mixed bag...

The apartment was great and in a great neighborhood with a family restaurant just steps from the front door. The communication is what was lacking. No where on the website does it say the tax must be payed up front in cash. Fortunately, we had it. Also, no warning on the website about construction which would have been a bit more challenging if we had roller bags instead of backpacks. And if you had plans to sit in the garden, you can forget that because of construction. The towels are line dried and not soft, but I think that is typical for Venice. Just want you to know that ahead of time. There's another review about the miscommunication too. Fortunately we read that before we arrived. Another motion detector light would be very helpful. But we still had a good time and would recommend with these cautions

Sehr romantisch möblierte, großzügige Wohnung im ersten Stock, sehr günstig zu wichtigen Biennale- Orten. Bitte selbst mitbringen: Fön, Taschenlampe fürsTreppenhaus, Spülmaschinentabs, Papiertüten und Abfalltüten zwecks Mülltrennung. Schöne Atmosphäre, empfehlenswert, danke!

Danke für die nette Bewirtung. Der Föhn ist in der ersten Lade im Badezimmer. Da es gibt bei der Late für die Mülltrennung eine Zwischenlade die man nicht gleich sieht wo all die beschriebenen Dinge von Geschirr spültappst über Tüten für den Müll sich befinden. Wir werden das unseren Check in Mitarbeitern sagen dass sie diese extra zeigen sollen.

Geschmackvolle Ambiente in hervorragender Lage

Geschmackvoll im venezianischen Stil eingerichtete und hervorragend ausgestattete Wohnung in einem der ruhigeren Viertel in Castello. Giardini, Arsenale und San Marco in Laufweite, mehrere nahe Vaporetto-Anlegestellen für verschiedene Linien. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und Check-in sehr nett und unproblematisch. Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!

Stilvoll eingerichtete Palazzo-Wohnung, die dem Charme der Stadt alle Ehre macht!

Eine sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Palazzo-Wohnung, die dem Charme der Stadt alle Ehre macht und in guter Lage eine Ruheoase bildet. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Im Gegenteil, durch die Schönheit der Unterkunft konnten wir nicht nur übernachten, sondern selbst wohnen wie Venezianer. Alles sehr sauber, nette Nachbarn, bequeme Schlafplätze, lichtdurchflutete Zimmer (aber kühler Boden, der in heißen Sommermonaten bestimmt Kühlung verschafft), eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche und alles sehr liebevoll bis ins Detail aufeinander abgestimmt. Unsere Kinder waren sehr begeistert von dem Blick auf den Kanal (und wir auch!), den Kronleuchtern in jedem Zimmer und dem goldenen Wasserhahn im Bad. Duschen, Kaffee trinken, alles so wie es uns gefällt. Das Wäschehängen aus dem Fenster war ein persönliches Highlight. Mit der Wahl dieser Unterkunft können Sie nichts falsch machen! Wir sind jeden Tag sehr gerne in diese Wohnung "nach Hause" gekommen. Danke!!!

Wir waren im Juli 2021 eine Woche in dieser schönen, ruhigen Wohnung. Sie liegt im ersten Stock, die Fenster blicken alle auf einen Garten runter, auf einer anderen Seite geht ein Kanal direkt unter der Wohnung vorbei. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht, um gut zu kochen. Die Wohnung liegt an einem kleinen Platz, an dem auch eine sehr gute und bezahlbare Osteria ist. Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter gestaltete sich völlig problemlos. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Romantischer Palazzo mit modernem Bad

Hervorragende Lage für Biennalebesucher abseits der ausgetretenen Touristenwege. Großzügige und hohe Zimmer mit neuen Terrazzoböden und sehr ästhetischer Einrichtung 'a la veneziana', überall goldgerahmte Spiegel, üppige Brokatvorhänge, Gemälde und Kissen. Das "Himmelbett" ist weich und kuschelig, das Bett im 2. Schlafzimmer für Freunde einer härteren Matratze. Das I-Tüpfelchen sind die verspielten goldfarbigen Armaturen im Bad. Sehr schöne, bodengleiche Dusche. Die voll eingerichtete Küche haben wir nur zum Teekochen genützt. Fernseher ist vorhanden, haben wir nicht verwendet. Zuhause wohnen wir ganz anders, umso mehr haben wir die Woche in dieser geschmackvoll-romantischen Samt-und-Kronleuchter-Wohnung genießen. Vielen Dank an die sehr freundlichen Vermieter! Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Beautiful Appartment!

We stayed here for two weeks. The apartment is well located a few minutes walk away from the Arsenale vaporetto stop and is close to many restaurants, bars, shops etc. St Marks Square is only a 10-15 minute walk away. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and fitted and is very spacious. Unlike many similar places we have stayed the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner, although not on site, was easy to contact and answered any queries quickly and helpfully. There were only two minor niggles which are worth mentioning. Firstly, as mentioned in the description, there is air conditioning but only one unit in the bedroom so if the weather is very hot (as it was when we arrived) it is hard to cool the whole apartment. Secondly we were requested not to use the curtains to darken the rooms but to use the blinds instead. However one of the windows in the bedroom had no blind and so the room became very light as soon as the sun came up. However these were minor problems and, overall, we were very happy and would not hesitate to return.

Danke für die netten Worte. Die Wohnung ist ganz neu renoviert. Die Klimaanlage für die komplette Wohnung ist in Arbeit. Da es sich bei dem Haus in einem Palazzo handelt dauern die Genehmigungen sehr lange. Für das eine Fenster das noch keine Jalousien hat, werden Fensterläden zum verdunkeln angefertigt.
