This property was very welcoming and we were pleased with our stay there. They even provided fresh sourdough bread and farm eggs upon arrival! The house was very clean and the layout provided for plenty of places to gather together or for solitude. The patio and backyard space was really a peaceful oasis. The only minor issue was finding the property driveway late at night upon arriving; better address marking would help. We were very happy with our stay.

House was amazing! Such a cool place, and the owner was so nice and friendly. They provided extra niceties that were totally unexpected but much appreciated. This location was close to our family in Spencer, so that was a plus. The pillows on the couch have exactly the same covers as mine do , so I felt “at home”! Property is very clean and well kept, with a very nice and interesting back yard (love the birdhouses). Nice neighborhood and close to shopping. I better not say anymore because it might not be available when we come back! Yert, Darcy and Mel!

Beautifully maintained and sweet house with all the thoughtful touches you could ask for (and didn't even think to), making this feel just like home. Darcy is super communicative and even took the time to send recommendations for things to see and fo while we were there. What a delightful find!

This house is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The hospitality to start with went above and beyond. The house was described well, but it felt so much bigger than the photos. Nice getaway in Sparta

The house was in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood yet everything was nearby. The house had plenty of space and was well stocked. The family room/den was very comfortable and one of our favorite spaces. Having a fenced in space for the dogs was very nice. We really enjoyed our time and would go back.

Home Away From Home

This property truly is a home away from home! The location is perfectly situated for all the things you want to do in middle Tennessee, the neighborhood is quiet, and the house is very cozy. But what makes this property truly special are all the little touches that Darcy provides to make you feel at home! We are so grateful for people like her that share their homes so we always have a comfortable place to come back to after our adventures!

We have visited places such as Europe, Asia, Central America, Bali and have many more places that we would love to explore, but we have absolutely fallen in love with SPARTA, TN! And we would love to share it with you!

We feel so fortunate to have found Sparta in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. We have the best of everything right here at home: Waterfalls, Hiking, Kayaking, Fishing, Boating , Caves, Live Music, Great Food and most of all the kindness of the local community.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This is a wonderful, family-oriented neighborhood. You will see children and people of all ages playing and/or exercising along the street and enjoying the outdoors. For the safety of pedestrians , please drive slow and careful :) The street makes a loop and is great for running or walking. It's on one acre of land and the house is located on a hilltop. It's fun to enjoy the backyard patio and magical when you get to view the sunset.
