Private, 2 BR apartment in the John B. Linsley house in the historical Branford Point district. Located on the same block as the public beach and a lovely park with a playground. Easy walk to a fishing dock, a public boat launch, and the Branford train station (easy trip to NYC and Boston). 12 minute drive to Yale University. A pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. Our host provided everything that we could possibly need and then some. The rental is big! We had room to spread out. The sunrises and sunsets at the end of the road were a bonus!

The property is located very close to the best pizza place i have eaten, since i moved to Florida and the property is close to the beach.

Great place & location

It is about 100 yards from the beach/park and 1.5 miles from the town center. 10 minutes from New Haven. We had a lot of room with a kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Great overall location.

Beach, one block away! Beautiful place. Went to class reunion in East Haven. My children loved it. My wife and I were very happy with place and owners! We would come back here again....

Cozy apartment by the beach!

Very clean, cozy, and amazing location! We stayed with our 2 and 3 year old, so the playground and the beach being only a block away was great! So many thoughtful extras throughout this property, with the hosts readily available to answer any questions! 10/10!

Every Detail Was Perfect!

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The host thought of every little detail to make the experience seamless and enjoyable. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and incredibly accommodating. Perfect and quaint

We were only there for 2 nights, but it was perfect for what we needed

Nice apartment in Branford

We really liked our stay, the beach is nearby, we would recommend visiting Yale University and the Thimble Islands. Branford is a nice little town with many historical houses. Dana was very welcoming and provided all these little things to feel at home. And we slept wonderful in the comfy beds.

Labor Day getaway

Last weekend trip of summer before dropping off daughter at college. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Great location. Walk to beach. Quick drive into New Haven for pizza crawl. Really appreciated the cookies, wine, snacks, and cold drinks in the fridge on arrival.

Don’t pass this one up!

This was by far the most comfortable, easy, VRBO I have ever booked. The house is beautiful! It is so close to the beach. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely. The hosts were incredibly gracious and friendly. We were given welcome cookies, wine, and water. It was just an overall amazing experience. I am planning on staying with them again!

Awesome family friendly rental

My husband and I visited Branford with our two small children (3&4). The apartment was a fantastic home base. It was convenient to everything, especially the beach, and we really appreciated all the little touches- a toy basket for kids, cookies and other treats, cold water in the fridge and ample toys. We couldn’t have been happier!

Great Stay

My husband and I, along with our 21-month- old had a great stay. Located a two-minute walk from a public beach, the house is the perfect size for we three. Everything was very clean and neat. We really appreciated the little extras we found but did not expect. Kid's dishes and a toy box

Funky and not what we expected

Very funky, some of the furniture is very dated and worn. Great location but overpriced for the low season. 2nd floor unit upstairs. Needs some remodeling to make it nicer

Excellent Hosts

Perfect, perfect place. Immaculate, comfortable and thoughtful. The hosts absolutely know the meaning of hospitality, we have never felt more welcome. We loved the cookies and water that were waiting for us upon arrival as well as the thoughtful toiletries available in the bathroom. Excellent location, walking distance to a charming beachfront park and everything else the area has to offer. Thank you so much!
