This brand new and spacious home is located on a quiet street with easy access to uncrowded beaches, the historic intracoastal waterway, and the mainland via N.C. 906. Reach the beach with a brief 2-minute drive/ 15-minute walk, or bring your bikes to enjoy the scenic commute. You’ll have plenty of room to rest and relax in this welcoming beach oasis featuring 3 king size beds, 5 twin beds and 3 bathrooms to accommodate all guests in comfort.

Whether you’re spending a day at the beach or hiking the Environmental Overlook Trails, das StrandHaus will welcome you home with its modern beach dĂ©cor and amenities. Newly built in 2022 with an open floor concept to relax and entertain. The 4 spacious bedrooms with 3 king size beds including an in-law-suite gives you also plenty of private space to relax. The kids bedroom features 2 bunk beds plus a pull out trundle and their own TV for extra entertainment. Enjoy your morning coffee or watching the sunset with a cocktail on the big screened in porch. Your biggest decision is whether to relax on the porch swing, rocking chairs or sectional sofa.

We loved our stay here! This home is beautiful and has everything you need. We rented a golf cart and it was a quick ride over to the beach. We also bought a parking pass for one of our cars and used that too. The owner’s were quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. The home is really just perfect! We loved the open concept kitchen/living space and the screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee.

Family vacation 2025! Great stay! Rented golf cart, easy to ride to the beach! Highly recommend renting or bringing a golf cart! Home was clean, beautiful, modern! Hosts were nice and attentive! Would stay again and 100% recommend!

Girls getaway weekend

Very nice house. Only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed the decor, the beds, and screened porch. We had a relaxing time. Of note, the beach is a little bit of a walk. We crossed the highway and found a bridge and walkway behind the rec center. I ended up driving my 70 yo MIL there on the next beach visit. Also, we enjoyed the Seafood Festival this weekend. I believe it was Oak Island's first. Look out for it next year in 2026

Quick Weekend Trip

The home was perfect and so comfortable for our family & friends that were with us! The bunk room was perfect for the kids & the 3 king bedrooms were great for the parents! We appreciate everything about this home & we will recommend it to others!

Nice vacation house and close to the beach and other activities on Oak Island

Overall the house was comfortable for the duration of our stay. The host sent detailed check in instructions a few days before we got there so it was easy upon arrival. House was stocked with basic amenities and the only suggestion we had was considering adding more of a variety of cooking utensils and serving ware. We cooked in most nights and could generally work with what was available but future visitors might appreciate additional cookware options. We did not need to contact the host during our stay but they were prompt with providing checkout information a few days prior to our departure.

Great Communication and Beyond Expectations

First of all, the owners of the property were VERY friendly and communicated daily and answered any and all questions we had since we were new to Oak Island. The property was located in a great location and the house was so clean. We didn't have any issues with the place, which we usually experience some kind of draw-back whenever we go on vacation. This home exceeded any and all expectations and we will most definitely stay here again.

Oak Island Retreat

My two adult daughters and I enjoyed our four night stay so much. We each had a king size bed and our own bathroom. What luxury! The house has a great floor plan for privacy and integrated open concept too. We drove to the public beach access and parked for our day trips to the beach and also enjoyed a trip to Bald Head Island and Southport. The area has lots to do and good seafood restaurants as well! The hosts did an excellent job responding to the few questions I had.

Wonderful home on quiet street

Conveniently located new build with great hosts. The communication with the property host was effortless. They were very responsive to any questions and very descriptive about the house. Its a beautiful open living area with a great screened in deck. The home was very comfortable and our family had zero issues. The neighbors were pleasant and not much street is very quiet. There is great intercoastal waterway fishing within a short walk. Plenty of food options within a mile. We hope to book this for our next vacation to OKI.
