Fabulous property in fabulous location. Although it is a basement flat there are windows everywhere and it felt roomy. It’s got everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We love the Marylebone area! James was an excellent host. The apartment was very comfortable for the five of us and so close to Marble Arch tube station. We had a wonderful time.

Spacious, beautiful, and safe!
Very spacious and very beautiful updated apartment. Perfect for our family of five - a rarity to find in UK/Europe. It is a in a safe area within 10-15 minutes of walking distance to underground public transportation.

Fabulous place to stay!
Wonderful location. The apartment was spacious and clean, with bedrooms on opposite ends for privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved having a washer a dryer. The location was close to underground stations, parks and even the train station. James was a wonderful host. Communication was easy and he met us at check in to show us around. Definitely recommend you stay here.

Spacious & Great Location
Safe neighborhood. Located near two tubes…Marylebone & Marble Arch. Bedrooms on opposite ends. Met at check-in by James who was available to help. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer!! Undergoing some renovations so I’m sure it will be even better in the near future.

Mini Getaway
In London for the Vikings/Jets game and enjoyed the city while staying at this centrally located place. It was the perfect distance from the Tube and Bus stops as well as the local town of restaurants and shops. The only minor detail was we didn't realize when booking the apartment was below ground and was basement level. But, overall very charming and convenient

Beautiful, spacious flat in a wonderful neighborhood
We had a wonderful stay at this flat; it is even nicer than the photos! Large bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, living room/dining room, everything is in excellent condition, perfectly clean. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and very comfortable. It has a washer AND dryer (instead of the combo units available in most flats). It is on a quiet street with shops/cafes around the corner; the bus stop is a block away and the tube stop is only a few blocks away. James met us at the flat (at a late hour due to our train delay) and provided a helpful mini-tour. We highly recommend this flat.

Building site & builders' noise and debris
I was not told that the whole house was a building site.
The flat was in the basement. The noise of the builders work banging and sawing all day. In the bedroom I saw a
workman looking in. What view there was was scaffolding.
I asked if it was in the basement but got no answer.
I am requesting a partial refund because it was not what I expected. And frankly I dont think it should have been let until building work ends. Please get back to me regarding refund L. C Day

The work you encountered was not related to the property itself but rather cleaning and maintenance being carried out on the entire street by the freeholder of the street. Unfortunately, this was beyond my control, and I wasn’t informed of the exact schedule in advance. I completely understand how the noise and presence of workmen outside the property may have disrupted your experience, and I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the basement flat and your question prior to booking, I aim to be as transparent as possible in my communications and property description. If my response left you unclear, I apologize and will take steps to ensure future guests receive more detailed information.
I also regret that the scaffolding obstructed the view, and I’ll be more proactive about informing guests of such temporary issues.
I value your feedback and understand your concerns. To address the impact on your stay, I’m happy to discuss a goodwill gesture or partial refund. Please let me know how I can assist further.

Very spacious and quiet basement/garden flat in a wonderful location
The flat is spacious, quiet, and clean. It is in a very safe and walkable area, with lots of shops and access to multiple Tube stations. The bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the flat for privacy and quiet. There was a separate washer a dryer, which is unusual. A few things to be aware of: The second bathtub didn't work well; no water pressure and the drainplug would not stay closed. So we used the shower in the other bathroom for the most part. The sink in the second bathroom was very tiny and we needed to wash our faces by bending over the tub. The main bedroom did not have plugs or lights next to the bed, which is minor but is a bit inconvenient. There were water leaks after a rain in the family room area. There were a few other very minor issues and James responded to address those. He met us at check in to show us around and very kindly helped bring our bags down the narrow stairs. Overall, the minor issues likely make up for the inconveniences, especially for a family traveling together.
