Completely restored with all new kitchen and appliances, new flooring and all new furnishings just as cute!

Welcome to Naut 2 Shabby Cottage! This 1922 Old-Florida-style cottage pool home is the front unit on the property, located on Pine Avenue just half a block from the Anna Maria City Pier and Tampa Bay, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rent a bike or catch the free Island Trolley to explore the Gulf end of Pine Avenue in just a few minutes' ride!

At the home, you'll be charmed by the eclectic and homey decor. The backyard was made for fun in the sun! The private heated pool sports a basketball hoop, there's a hot tub nestled next to the gorgeous tropical landscaping and soft, springy turf surrounds the pool. Complete with Adirondack chairs, loungers, and a 4-top table with umbrella, you'll have everything you need right at the house!

The interior is nice and cozy and includes updated amenities such as a large flat-screen SmartTV, fully equipped brand new kitchen with stainless appliances and recently updated interior. The dining area in the sunny enclosed front porch easily seats six.

There are three bedrooms in this historic cottage. The first bedroom has a Queen bed and an attached bathroom featuring a turn-of-the-century bathtub equipped with a handheld sprayer. The second bedroom has a King bed. The third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The second bathroom has a shower and is located just outside the bedrooms. A washer and dryer are available as well, located in a standalone laundry room shared with the property's rear unit.

This ground-level cottage will feel like your home-away-from-home! The cottage sleeps 8. To sleep an additional 2- 4 guests check out Naut 2 Shabby Bungalow to rent along with the Cottage to sleep a total of up to 12 guests.

Flexible Check-in and checkout days --with some exceptions for holidays and certain times of the year—and never on Sundays.

Great communication!! Krista with the Fran Real Estate group went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She told us some great local spots to go to. Taught us the trick to make our “spa” amazingly hot!!! The location of this cottage is close to everything! This house definitely needs more mirrors though. There was one in the main bathroom and then one in the master bath, but the toilet is right underneath the mirror in the master bath so not a great location when doing your make-up or balancing brush, hair dryer and all the things. If they added long mirrors to the back of the bedroom doors that would be perfect! Kitchen was not stocked up with spices or cooking oil, so bring/buy your own (not a deal breaker). They do have beach chairs and beach towels you can use! Beds were comfortable, the backyard is 100% an oasis!!! There is a pool alarm on the door, so don’t freak out when the alarm goes off when you get there. It is not security and the police are not coming it is just the pool alarm. Krista taught us how to push the button before opening the door so the alarm didn’t blast!!! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again!! The location is amazing!!!

Great location

The location was great - an easy walk to all you could need, including The Waterfront (delicious restaurant). Our kids spent all their time in the pool and on the beach. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Only snag was that the lockbox for the key was jammed at check in but after calling, someone came by and helped us in. Would stay here again!

We stopped in Anna Maria Island for three days on our road trip visiting Florida beaches. We loved Anna Maria Island. The Naut 2 Shabby Cottage was the perfect location for exploring the island. We loved the quaint charm of the cottage.

First time Visit to Anna Maria

Being walking distance to the pier, and to gift shops and restaurants was important to us and so this location was perfect. We enjoyed the private pool and spent a fair amount of time in it.

Amazing stay!!!

This property was truly amazing for anyone that is looking for a wonderful cottage experience with the charm of the island. Myself and three sisters celebrated a big milestone in our lives and it was amazing to have such a comfort knowing that the process was easy to get in & enjoy. the pool was warm the hot tub was hot the only item that we had problem with was the Internet which was not necessarily the fault of the rental unit itself. it was so unbelievably convenient and so much fun! If I could give it more than five stars I would! thank you so much . The Naut 2 Shabby is a perfect island experience in every way.

Fantastic place

Great place and location! 2-5 minute walk or drive to Bayfront Park/ Beach, Bean point beach, and all the best restaurants. Pool/ hottub worked perfectly. Heated! We had a 5 night stay, and someone even came in the middle of our stay to clean the pool. Definitely recommend!

Awesome Backyard

We really enjoyed our stay here. The backyard was great especially for smaller children and in wepp-kept condition (except the basketball hoop needs a net!). The location on the island was excellent with most of the desireable spots just a short walk away. The inside of the house needs some TLC but it was ok for a vacation stay. The water pressure in the shower was great but the handle was loose and temperature would change as it rotated on its own. Overall we were very happy.

Great location, clean home

home was very clean and in a great location. Would recommend. Wifi was spotty so i wouldn't expect to be able to take work video calls on it, front door wouldn't lock at times, and pool started to get murky later in the week and didn't have access to any chlorine tablets but overall great property in a great location.

Great location

Great location. The pool and hot tub were fun. They need to fix some of the tiles that are broken on the hot tub as they could be a safety hazard. They also only had one knife in the house so cooking was tough. Great location and a nicely decorated place. Very old Florida/vintage.

30th Anniversary

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The home is cozy. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Close to all the best restaurants in Anna Maria. Would definitely come back.

A cozy, great place for family trips

A very cozy place by the pier. Very comfortable beds. The only suggestion we have would be to have more cups and wine glasses. Also more basic supplies (toilet paper, dishwasher pods and garbage bags). But otherwise it was a delightful place, center of the action and right off the trolley. Coffee, food and little shops were within just a few short steps. A wonderful beach was just a 10 minute walk. We weren’t able to use the pool and hot tub until the last two days due to a heavy rain when we arrived (likely knocked out power) but this issue was fixed quickly once we reported this to management.

Great Location

We have stayed at this exact house 3 times now. We return to it because of its location and the superior rental managment company experience. They are awesome. The yard is awesome. The location is also a huge plus for this property. The property is definitely in need of some TLC. The overall cleanliness of the house was not ideal for my liking. The main things were clean, but baseboard had a ton of dust as did the decor items. I cleaned the ledges and the decor in the main bathroom because it was pretty bad. Overall, a good stay.

Location

Pros: The house is cute with 3 bedrooms and a fantastic backyard. Kitchen equipped. Location, location, location was great. Unfortunately, some cons as well.. We did have issues with the hot tub that did not get warm, lighting in the backyard was out, rusty grill and freezer not cold resulting in a melted ice cream cake for my son's birthday. Also, no book with instructions and when I reached out to the rental folks I received one response telling me they would come on Saturday but no one ever showed up and no response at all after reaching out a 2nd time. I would rent again but would inquire about these things beforehand.

Great location for beach and restaurants!

This property was perfectly situated in between the beach and the pier area. We found plenty of restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. The pool and backyard space were also very nice. It’s an older home with two nice rooms and one that would be better for kids. The one that would be better for kids had a fairly uncomfortable twin mattress but the king room was lovely! There were more bugs than we would have liked but that could have been August in Florida. Overall, I’d recommend for a quick weekend getaway!
