Designed to evoke the ultimate in relaxation and serenity, this spacious and airy 3-bedroom home is located in a prime, gated Cathedral City community. Our relaxing oasis features a large outdoor space complete with pool and spa, chaise lounges and additional seating overlooking the mountains, comfortable living and dining room furniture, and tons of open living space to enjoy and unwind in.
Recently renovated, our property comes furnished with all the comforts of home. Our property features updated appliances & multiple elements that make your stay comfortable and convenient. The bright and airy living room contains a large comfy couch, fireplace, flat screen TV, and even features a grand piano certain to entertain your entire group. The oversized living room area overlooks the Desert Princess Golf Course and majestic San Jacinto Mountains, instantly offering you a sense of peace and tranquility from the moment you step inside.
The living room opens out to the spacious dining and kitchen areas, which contain a large dining room table that’s ideal for dinner parties. The chef`s kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, plenty of cooking tools & utensils and tons of counter-top space for you to create that perfect meal. The entire kitchen/living area is open concept, offering easy access to either indoor or outdoor dining and entertaining options. Once outdoors, you`ll get to enjoy our covered outdoor patio area, perfect for dining al-fresco under the desert sky.
Our three bedrooms are equipped with comfy, cushy mattresses for you to enjoy. The beds are outfitted with high thread-count sheets to give you that perfect night’s sleep. There are two primary suites. The first bedroom contains a plush King-size bed and a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with glass-enclosed shower.
The second primary bedroom has a Queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom and additional space extending from the main sleeping area. This can be used as an office or entertainment den. It also features an additional pull-out couch that converts to a single bed. The room even comes with a rolling TV stand, which can conveniently be moved from the bedroom area to the office at any time. The third bedroom features a Queen-size bed and SmartTV. All bedrooms have tons of natural light coming from the many windows surrounding our property.
The desert-inspired aesthetic of our landscaped outdoor area really steals the show at this property, offering stunning views of the mountains in every direction. Several comfy chaise lounges & chairs, a dining table and additional bistro set allow you to relax and re-energize under the stars. The backyard also features a large BBQ grill, perfect for that outdoor meal watching the sunset over the mountains. Please note the backyard is on the golf course and not fully enclosed.
Additional amenities that you’ll enjoy are complimentary WiFi throughout the house, SmartTVs, on-site washer/dryer, stainless steel appliances, two car garage parking, complimentary bicycles and toiletries in every bathroom.

You’re renting the entire house and outdoor area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively! Guests also have access to the Desert Princess Golf Course, along with additional amenities such as community pools & spas, tennis/pickleball, basketball, bocce, racquetball courts, fitness center and restaurant (additional fees may apply).
Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours. CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES (we don`t make the rules, but we do follow them!)
**No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!** Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.
- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25. - Maximum occupancy is 6 people. - Maximum of 3 vehicles allowed. - The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No outdoor music shall be used outside at any time. Music played from the inside of the STVR property shall not be heard beyond the property line of the STVR property at all times. Use of outdoor amenities/activities that create noise is prohibited from 10 PM to 8 AM. - Primary guest will be required to show photo ID at checkin. - Enjoy the outdoors of the property, but please keep children and animals from trampling our beautiful landscaping. -Occupants shall respect the neighbors` privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property. - Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) will be included in your booking - 12% for Cathedral City plus 1% for Greater Palm Springs Tourism Business Improvement District (GPSTBID). Does not apply to long-term bookings.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE - Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM. - Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour. - Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.
PETS - Pets are allowed (2 pet max, under 25 lbs), with a fee of $100 per pet. - Pets must be approved and pet fee must be paid prior to check-in. Please pick up after your pet if they relieve themselves in the yard. If there is extensive pet damage, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. - The front yard is fully enclosed. The back yard is not fully enclosed, so pets must be leashed. Pets are not allowed on the golf fairway behind the house.
POOL HEATING - Optional pool heating is recommended from October to April for an additional fee of $75 per day (includes spa heat). - The pool heat must be turned on for the duration of your stay. - Spa heat only is $25/day.
CLEANING Final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Funds for mid-stay cleanings will be collected from guest as they occur.
INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings) Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay: ● $99: 1-29 nights ● $450: 30-59 nights ● $150: each additional 30-night block

The views were spectacular. The A/C worked perfectly. The was a little problem with lights. This was the second time staying here. The king size bed was great but the other bedrooms say were queen size beds really they were not. Overall the stay was great and we would stay there again.

Relaxing weekend at a beautiful home!
We couldn't be happier with the beautiful home in the perfect location. The home was spotless, very charming and comfortable. Beautiful decor and special attention to comfort, like welcoming throws on the comfy couch. The central location was perfect to visit Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. Shopping and Dining was very close. Perfect!

Hi Cindy, glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for your positive review. The additional charge for the pool heat is standard in the desert, and it’s not run on electricity, it’s run on gas. And unfortunately, the gas bill can get up to $2000 in the winter when it’s cold so we have to recoup that cost. Hope to host you again in the future!

Great Time Vacation
The villa was great, I've be staying at Desert Princess for 30 years, and this place had the best views. The villa was clean and the pool was nice. One thing I will say that there was no King size bed in the master as it was advertised. But overall the place was great and we would stay there again.

Spring Break
Our stay was perfect. My parents live in Rancho Mirage so this house was close but gave us our own space. The layout was ideal with two teenage boys, they each had their own rooms! The outdoor area was just the right size for our family and fun to watch the golfers play the course from the patio. The kitchen was well appointed for the meals we decided to have in but the location was close to all our favorite restaurants when we didn’t want to cook. We definitely would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay, as soon as we walked into the house we were excited because it is very nice, and clean. The pool is awesome, the view is amazing. We love this complex! You get an amazing view of the sunset over the mountains. We we’re surprised That there was a $10 fee per person to use the gym in the complex which was a surprise to the boys when they went to workout.
We would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to go back!

Hypnotizing View
The view of the San Jacinto Mtns. is almost hypnotizing. There are other nice villas in the neighborhood but this view is an absolute premium especially at sunrise and sunset. The Desert Princess is a large well appointed gated community and the golf club is one of the best publicly accessible courses in this part of the valley. The property met our expectations. Up dated, comfortable and functional. The Property Mgr. (Shawn) was professional and responsive to our few questions. Be sure to focus on his explanations of the pool/spa control phone app. and the media available as this place has up to date technology.

Great View
Any time of the day the view out the back patio was stunning. A great way to watch the golfers land their shots on the green of the second hole. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were heavenly. The washer and dryer as well as the dishwasher worked great. The photos of the room with the yellow curtains is a bedroom with a full bath behind one curtain and a closet behind the other curtain. There was an office attached to this room which I used daily. A third bedroom is off the hall with out an attached bathroom. There is a 1/2 bath in the hall. We will be back next year if it is available.

W Trancas trip
Property has everything we needed clean and fresh in a really good spot at the back of the 2nd green on Cielo. Apart from some issues with “Alexa” and a bleeping smoke alarm this was a perfect venue for our golfing trip and visits to PS centre. Would definitely book again and probably stay longer maybe next year. Although we had to pester Shawn (Property manager) a lot to access the pool heating he responded immediately and was always attentive. Thanks

Had a fabulous time at the property and hope to come back soon! We typically stay in Cathedral Canyon Cove but due to changes in short term stay requirements we ended up here. Had a problem with the washer and the property manager was very responsive. My only complaint is the kitchen is stocked very minimally. If you like to cook this could be a problem. Very basic pots and pans to choose from, no beaters, no rice cooker etc... My family had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
