Take in the view from this fifth-floor, oceanfront condo! The updated interior is tastefully decorated and offers numerous comforts including smart TVs for streaming your favorite channels, central air-conditioning, a well-equipped, full kitchen, and a private washer/dryer to help you keep that laundry under control during your visit.

Sit out on your covered balcony and enjoy the salty air and the panoramic vista. The soft sands below invite you to spend your days at the beach.

Ocean City's top attractions are within a short driving distance, but recreation opportunities are also abundant right on the property. Get in your daily exercise with some vitamin 'sea' - the fitness center's treadmills face the water, and the tennis court and outdoor pool are beachside.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

We love Golden Sands

This level and lower units are preferable as we could sit on the balcony and enjoy all the deck festivities; plus if elevators are busy, we can walk the stairs. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower head and water pressure was a pleasure after a day outside on the beach or deck and pool. The parking space is easy and directly under a security light.

This place was so dirty and the couch was full of stains and had to go out and buy a sheet so u had somewhere to sit the bedroom rug was so nasty and dirty and the walls in the bedroom were so dirty this place is nothing like the picture would never stay here again the fridge on the side of it had food all over it the coffee maker was never cleaned before just very un happy with this place as the only nice thing was the beach and the pool

The place was terriable very dirty the walls were covered woth dirt applance look like they were never cleaned the comforter had stains on it the couch was full of stains we had to go out on are vacation and buy a comforter abd sheets to put in couch so we had a place to sit very disappointed with this place called vacasa to get some kind of refund and was tols there is nothing they can do will never return to this place

Chilly October Vacation

We had a great time even though the weather was cold. Great heat in the room! Great view of the ocean from the room and 22nd floor. Kitchen was stocked great!

Home for the weekend

This home was clean and very well organized. I loved how all towels, toilet paper, paper towels, extra garbage bags all came in a neat little package. Elevators were always fast and parking was very simple. Great location for the beach bus routes with a 30 minute bus ride down to the boardwalk. Home was very clean and the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. Beach was also super clean. Instructions for check in/out were super easy. Just a fantastic stay over all. I hope to get the same home next year for Oceans Calling festival!

A little smaller than I thought, could use a little pick me up some minor alterations, but the unit was cute and perfect for family,. Wonderful location , the view was beautiful and the owners note was kind & thoughtful!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed here this past week and it was a perfect cute little spot for the 2 of us. Its exactly what you'd expect for a condo on the beach in OCMD. Linens and towels were provided (I brought some incase because not all places provided them in the past). 5th floor was a perfect spot because I hate staying too high up. We ate out mostly but there was plenty of stuff to cook if you wanted to. The condo stayed cool for us and they have ceiling fans and a small fan of you need it to sleep. We slept well most nights and thought the bed was comfortable enough. Would definitely stay here again!

We were disappointed when we first arrived because the air conditioner was not working. It was 80 degrees in the condo and rising. Where we usually stay at the beach, the Florida Gulf coast, this kind of problem would typically take a day to get fixed and, because we were only staying for 2 days, I was a little upset. We contacted the owner and he said he would take care of it. In less than an hour, a maintenance man from the condo showed up and it was fixed shortly thereafter. So I want to give a big shout-out to the owner and the Golden Sands maintenance crew. You made what could have been a not-so-good experience into a very pleasant vacation. .

The only complaints i have is that the queen size bed needs a new mattress. It was very uncomfortable. And the couch could use an update as well. And for whatever reason we couldn't log into our streaming accounts. Besides all that, it was a wonder weekend

A Great Stay in OC!

We stayed here for a family vacation with our 5 and 2 year olds. The bedroom was big enough to fit their travel cots with still plenty of room to around in the bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals with a dishwasher for easy clean up. The couch and chairs were comfy in the living room. Great views from the balcony with a screen door to let in the ocean sounds or a slider that effectively shut out outdoor noise. The property this is on has pretty much everything you can ask for. We ate at the tiki bar that was very tasty but there’s also a sandwich shop and ice cream shop. Our 5 year old had fun at the on-site arcade. We used the outdoor pools and those were also great. Easy beach access. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay for our family trip. The bathroom sink could use some clearing (beach sand maybe blocking), but that’s the only negative I can think of. I definitely recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Not the best beach condo rental

Stayed here for a 4 night trip and was disappointed in the condition of the condo, dirty conditions and overall poor response from Vacasa. When we arrived it was clear that the condo had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were multiple food wrappers on the floor, food particles on the floor and inside the sofa bed, trash left in the trashcan and the dishwasher had dishes in it. We contacted the Vacasa office in the lobby. Someone from the office came up to the condo and remarked that the condo was not cleaned properly. Promised to either refund the cleaning fee or send someone to clean. Told us that no one was available to clean that afternoon/evening, but that someone would contact us the next morning. However, the next day the condo wasn’t cleaned and we were never contacted. Not fun having to clean a condo and make sure the sofa bed was clean so that our child could sleep in it. In addition, when we were texted about our stay and I told Vacasa about our cleaning issues, the text representative told us someone from the local office would contact us to resolve our issue. Again that never happened and no one from Vacasa ever called or emailed us to assist us. In addition it was clear that this condo was not ready for the rental market. The pics online made the condo look much better than it actually was. The tile and grout in the bathroom was dirty/mildewy, the shower was awkward, and the surround ledge was close to the ground, so that water could leak onto the floor while showering. The condo needs painting, with stains, dirt and water marks on walls and the ceiling. Also the smoke detector in the living room/kitchen/dining area was literally hanging off the wall, with wires exposed/hanging. Not something you want to see, especially when you are staying with a young child, There were no beach towels provided, so just be aware that you need to bring your own. Also there wasn’t a beach umbrella provided, so you need to either bring your own or rent one. On a plus note, there were lots of supplies provided (paper products, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, shampoo, bars of soap and lotion…that was a nice touch. Also the view from the balcony was great, the condo was quiet and it was conveniently located to restaurants within walking distance. Golden Sands building is great, with many amenities such as a tiki bar, ice cream shop, nice pools and a deck and convenience store. Perfect for families. We love the Golden Sands building and would stay there again, but would choose to rent from a company other than Vacasa.

Short beach trip

The place was very clean. There were a few things that should be updated. The bed was not very comfortable, the toilet was not secured tightly and the dishwasher was full of clean dishes we had to put away. We have been coming to OC Maryland for 30 years and always enjoy coming there, we had beautiful warm weather which helps the trip to the beach. I will say the couch was so comfortable and the deck chairs were nice to sit outside and watch the ocean. We had a great time.

The place was as described, it’s small but the price reflected that. It was a good value for the money. The furniture was very cheap and the cabinets were pretty disorganized but they had everything we needed. Under the kitchen sink was filthy. The place had things just stuffed in every cabinet and closet. The view was terrific, cute balcony ocean front-loved that. Overall the place is a bit run down but it has everything you need for a good time. One suggestion to the cleaning staff, open the drawers and clean them out!! Found nail clippings in the bedroom drawer-yes I swear!! Also, move the furniture when you clean!! Washer and dryer worked good.
