Nestled in the woods on Lake Hamilton's Long Island, The Owl House is a peaceful oasis for a family getaway or friends' adventure. Located off Central Avenue, we are just minutes from all the famous Hot Springs attractions!

The Owl House is an A-frame home and has been completely updated for 2022 with new appliances and granite. The large covered patio is perfect for having a lunch or reading a book! For longer stays, we have a washer and dryer, smart TV, and a desk and wifi for digital nomads.

The space: The house has two units, one upstairs (also available on Airbnb) and one downstairs, with separate entrances. You have exclusive access to the downstairs unit, the covered patio, and carport. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open living room, dining room, and kitchen.

We loved the Owl House! Check-in was simple, and the home was clean and attract and the perfect size for the two of us and our two pups. We like to cook, and the house provided everything we needed for both indoor and outdoor meal prep. We really liked being close to town without being in the middle of it. We'd love to stay there again someday!

Such a charming place! The location was perfect, and less than a mile from local family. If more space is needed, the upstairs is also a rental with a separate entrance. I could see that noise could be an issue if you are wanting a totally quiet space. We didn’t have time to enjoy the porch, but will definitely be back when it’s warmer to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The house worked perfectly for us to join in a family reunion just half a mile away on the island. Very clean, well equipped, slept well on the comfortable bed. Love being in the woods. Would return again.

Cozy stay!

The property was great! Very clean and had such great attention to detail. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again. Just to note there is a unit upstairs that is occupied.

This was a wonderful place to stay for labor day. Clean and stocked with everything you need! Beautiful landscape and wonderful owl decor. Our daughter loved it! We'll be back!

We loved the Owl House! It's comfortable, very attractively decorated, super attention to detail in all areas, and close to everything! Having never been to Arkansas before, Hot Springs was a superior jumping-off point. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We will be recommending the Owl House, and my daughter who stayed with us is alread suggesting a return trip with her friends.

Charming

Owl House was quaint and charming. It had that country cabin feel, with modern amenities. The large windows gave us beautiful views of the forested scenery. It was very clean & comfortable. I love that our pooches were welcome too! We absolutely loved this place; and are already talking about when we can come back.

The property looked like the photos but what we did not realize is the top of this A-Frame was converted into a rental unit as well. We had most of the week to ourselves but when the upstairs rentors arrived it was not as peaceful. May need some soundproofing on the upstairs floor/ downstairs ceiling. We worried that we were too loud for them as well. The location is amazing for seeing all that Hot Springs has to offer.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We love A-frames and immediately were interested in The Owl House. It needed a lot of work, but we admired the style and cozy rooms. We did the renovations ourselves, spending a couple of months remaking the interior. The kitchen got a new stove, dishwasher, microwave, and granite counters for 2022. It has been a labor of love and we have enjoyed seeing the property be transformed and restored.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have a great location, on an island of Lake Hamilton. It's convenient for anything at the Lake and also only 10-15 minutes to downtown Hot Springs. It's a quiet, safe neighborhood away from the busyness of town. We really enjoy sitting on the porch in the morning, with a cup of coffee, and listening to the birds.
