My 1-bedroom apartment is located on the top-level of a small walk-up building (2nd floor), looking right to the Jacinto Mountain. An elevator is available from the lobby to the 1st floor.

On site, you can enjoy an all year around heated pool, 2 jacuzzis and 2 tennis courts. Don't bring your rackets! I got you ;)

Washer, dryer available on the ground floor with Smart pay.

Private underground/covered parking space offered during your stay.

The community is safe and gated. A ring camera is also located at the entrance door for extra security.

They thought of every single detail, it was an absolutely perfect stay. The location could not be better if you want to experience downtown without being in the thick of it. It's a five minute walk, and you pass everything you need on the way. The apt is great!

Great host and place!

Host was very responsive and the place was better than advertised. Kitchen is very well stocked. BBQ worked very well and was made available with plenty of propane. Great location, about a 15 minute walk to the main areas of the downtown. No hesitation to recommend this rental unit.

Short stay in Palm

Had a great time staying at the Frida Khalo suite. Lindsay was an exceptional host! The apartment is well located, close to downtown and easy walking distance to a host of amenities. Thanks for our wonderful visit. Looking forward to our return.

Wonderful get away

We had a great visit at the "Cocoon"! The kitchen was well supplied, the bed was comfortable and the location couldn't be beat. The communication with the owner Lindsay was great. She responded to any questions very promptly. Having the wine when we arrived was a fabulous touch. I would recommend this to any single traveler or a couple.

Great location! Great view!

Perfect spot for week-long get-away in Palm Springs. Comfortable condo with colorful and fun decor. The condo complex was well-managed with great pool and quiet ambience. We never got in the car except to go to Joshua Tree. We walked everywhere. We will definitely come again!

Loved the unit. Top floor, great view of mountains from patio. Covered parking was a plus. Walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. Unit was clean with any amenity you could possible need! Even plenty of ice in the freezer. Pots and pans were in great condition. Loved having TV with a timer in the bedroom. Two portable fans in bedroom made it very comfortable even though it was over 100 every day. AC worked great as well.

Perfect Place - Perfect Location

This was one of the easiest - and most thoughtful - stays I have had (and I do a lot of traveling). Our host was responsive, kind and really attentive to our having a good experience. I have also never rented a place with so many amenities within the unit. They really thought of everything. I would be back and stay here again for sure!

Absolutely amazing!!

Where do I begin to describe the amazing stay and positive experience we had when renting this unit? Above all, it is a beautiful, well-maintained unit (and complex) in the perfect location -just a few blocks from downtown Palm Springs. Lindsay was so helpful and responsive. This was one of the best VRBO rentals we’ve ever experienced! The check-in packet arrived a few days before the rental included everything we needed to access the key and parking. Parking was underneath the building and right next to the washer/dryer room too. The layout of the unit is perfect and very comfortable. We loved the Frida Kahlo theme! Everything was clean and well stocked with helpful amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the closet had plenty of room. The balcony was so nice --we spent many hours out there. The pool area was absolutely perfect and it was nice to discover that there were two restrooms on either side as well. The people we met at the pool were very friendly too.The only downside was the street noise, but earplugs and a soundscape machine were provided to help block them out. It really didn’t bother us at all.Everything in the listing is 100% accurate including the photos of the unit and pool. Thank you so much for everything Lindsey!!! We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Palm Springs.
