Units Switched due to Repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had originally reserved another unit in Aqua. They had sent us an email that explained construction that would be impacting the balconies on about half the building. Unfortunately, when that email was sent, the information about the impact of the construction was omitted. We had a second correspondence that came closer to our stay which alerted us to the fact that we would not have access to our balcony. The front desk staff were able to switch units for us but we had no choice on which one we got. This one was a comparable floor plan that fit our rate. Although it was adequate, it was not as updated as the one we had picked out originally. When we arrived, the unit had a strong musty odor. We discovered that the front load washer had not been kept clean or dry. We were able to clean the washer, but it took some effort. The oven had some residue that made a really bad smell the first time we used it. The rest of the unit was clean at a surface level but needed a deep cleaning. The unit needs a new hairdryer and some general repairs and updates. The Aqua staff were great. Everyone from the front desk, to maintenance, and housekeeping were all helpful and friendly. There are a large group of people who keep coming back year after year. We found them welcoming and friendly. We loved the views, and the location is great.
