Great stay but could use a few improvements

The view was amazing and direct access to the beach was wonderful. Only complaints would be the master bed mattress, movement of the door to patio, this kitchen utensils and pans were fairly worn and the washer had a stench and moldy stains. Mattress could use replacement from dips and bowing in it, those caused a rough nights sleep. Patio door could be greased and channels cleaned to make it easier to open for the elderly. New kitchen pans needed and washer may need to be replaced. Overall tho a wonderful view and access to the ocean.

Clean and great location but could use some updates. Paint was chipped and scuffed throughout the condo. The living and bedroom only had one lamp each so lighting at night was not great. The light over the stove was also out. There were only a couple of plates/bowls for the unit so we had to buy to use while there.

There were several maintenance issues that needed to be addressed during the stay. Took away time on the beach!Thinking the personnel that cleans the site should have reported to maintenance.Closet doors broken and off track, kitchen sink cabinet door broken, toaster broken on one side, dirty blender and pitcher under sink, sliding glass doors unable to open, curtain hanging down broken off rod, washer seal molded, ceiling paint peeling off in living room, handles on console in living room broken off.Love the location though.

Had to call on several broken items throughout my stay. Closet bifold doors were broken Kitchen cabinet door was broken Sliding glass door was not operable to open Ceiling has peeling paint in living room Couch was sunken in Curtain was hanging down broken from curtain rod Air conditioner stopped working Ricardo and HVAC guy were personable and fixed things requested Peeling ceiling paint was not addressed

We will be back!

We have stayed all along the gulf coast and this condo was our favorite! The quick access to the beach was amazing and so convenient, especially with kids! We were afraid of the privacy being on first floor but had no issues at all. The condo is small and quaint but was perfect for our family of 4 including a 10 and 15 year old. They actually really enjoyed the bunk beds. In fact it was darker for them in the mornings than us in our room. The bathroom is tight but it’s so nice having separate toilets and bathroom counters. The view from the condo is just amazing! I will say a few things and only cause I hope they fix these things before our next stay cause like I said we loved it! The patio door really needs to have the track cleaned. It was next to impossible to open and close it, in fact I hurt my back doing it and I’m an avid gym person, it was just really hard to open and close. The kitchen desperately needs a good cooking pan. It only had 2 super tiny ones and a wok style pan. A broom would also be so nice! There is a vacuum but the sand began to pile up. I typically sweep and mop daily at beach condos to help with sand all over, especially in the beds but everything just got sandy. And lastly, some darker curtains in the bedroom would go so far. The window is next to a bright light so the room was very light at night. All in all, we loved this condo and the 1st floor access. A few tweaks would make it perfect but we will definitely be back!!!

Bummed.

We booked this condo to celebrate our 10 year anni/babymoon for second baby. We’ve stayed in this building before and loved it, especially the complimentary beach service. We started with the AC not working and spent several hours trying to get in touch with someone to fix it. Upon coming in from the beach to shower, my husband noticed a rag laying over the drain with the stopper on top. When he removed it he realized there was NO piping underneath. You could literally see the ground, sand and the pipes laying there. The shower looked to be newly installed, but obviously not completed. How was this not reported by cleaning crew?! Several hours of phone calls later and maintenance showed at 9 pm only to fail at attempting to “McGyver” the shower. We basically wasted our whole first day on the phone with this rental company. Luckily we were moved to another condo and it was very nice. We were also refunded for the day we wasted and given complimentary beach service at our new condo. HOWEVER, I had to ask for all of these things, nothing was offered. Would they have actually moved us, refunded us and honored our beach service if I hadn’t been pregnant, tired and demanded they make things right-who knows, but it’s doubtful. So overall, we were disappointed. I would check if the shower is fixed before coming if you already have a reservation. Shoutout to Amoye Bingham who took care of us and was so kind with getting us moved at 12 pm. She deserves a raise.

Very clean, great location on the water, uncrowded beach access!

Very clean interior, and while the building is an older building it has been maintained over the years. The best feature is the reserved beach access which provides ample room without crowding. According to the chair attendant, a beach umbrella/chair set is provided with the the rental and I highly recommended reserving a set.

Not what it used to be

My family has stayed in these condos for 5 years now and things started off great. This was by far the worst stay yet. There were bugs everywhere including roaches. I think they need to put more focus on the cleanliness of the units. We also saw possible signs of bedbugs which freaked us out so we requested a move. They accommodated our request promptly and got us a new room. Due to that I am giving more than a 1 star rating. I was told the property manager was going to reach out to make things right and we never heard anything back.

The sliding glass doors were broken and the manager didn’t get back to us even though we were there a full week. I couldn’t open or close them. Neither could my daughter.

We had a great trip. We have stayed at Windancer many times and live the convenience of the first floor. Some suggestions would be to update refrigerator to one with an ice maker, lamps in living room, upgrade tv package, and maybe seating in living room. Although we would definitely book again.

Nice property on the beach

This property is on the first floor directly on the beach which is great. The inside is spacious and well decorated. However, the tv channels are very very limited leaving not many choices if a rainy day (or to watch basketball playoffs). WiFi was ok. Kitchen was partially supplied (no Kuerig) only a coffee maker, but bring everything you need to make coffee (coffee filter, etc) The rental is on the first floor adjacent to the ramp to bring rolling bags or carts and can be noisy at all hours of the day/night.

We enjoyed the location very much and being near the pool on the ground level was great. Beach service was awesome. Could use some updated furniture in the living room. Overall it was nice and we enjoyed it!

Wonderful stay!

The location cannot be beat. The trim looks like it could have been done better. The bed in the bedroom was uncomfortable but that could be personal preference. Living room furniture has seen its better days
 The bed was very uncomfortable for my young kids to sleep on. Channel selection was limited. It would be nice if I was able to log into my own streaming subscriptions.

It’s the view only

The location and view are the only thing going for the condo The bathtub was not clean and someone else’s dirty towel was in it The washer would not work and had mildew in it The hot water isn’t enough to wash your body and hair off The bed is just sitting on a metal frame Neither television worked maybe 5 channels The outdoor furniture was nasty and old The couch is old and sinks in The lamp did not work The outlets on the wall in den do t work look like they have been burnt The ceiling fan in the den doesn’t work properly makes awful sounds like it’s going to blow up The rug in the den was nasty! It needs to be thrown away

Fall Break 2023

We loved the location of the property and the fact that we got the beach service for free. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was not that great. The unit is on first floor so can hear EVERY footstep from the above unit, very annoying. The unit is right at the elevator also, so you have outside noise as well. The sliding glass door to go out to patio doesnt open and close very well. You have to have super powers to open and close it. The patio furniture is not what is shown in the pictures. The furniture that is there is rusted and worn out. Very limited channels on TV. No smart tv either so you cant log into streaming apps. The couch, chair and bar stools were all nasty dirty. We layed a sheet over them before we sat down. Over all kinda dissapointed with the place for the price we paid.
