This home is just awesome and has so much personality!
The home is on an acre very close to the lake! 100yds!
So peaceful and quiet!

Gorgeous wrap around 2nd level porch give amazing views of the wildlife!

HUGE front yard!
Saucer swing (think tire swing but cooler)
Fire Pit with lots of seating!

Directly across from Lake Sam Rayburn with multiple entry areas!
We also have another home in this community that is lake front! This home may access the lake there for a more private access!

The home was pleasant and well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. I was surprised that we had to bring in ice and drinkable water as that feature on the fridge wasn't operating. The only negative about this property were the wood roaches. I'm from the area so I understand it's inevitable that you will see a few. Upon entering the home we found 10 dead roaches on the floor that we had to dispose of. It was apparent the home had recently been "bug bombed". Perhaps it could've been done earlier in the week so we didn't have to pick them up.

Weekend at the Lake

Overall everuthing is what we expected. Only advice I would give is more trash bags, toilet paper and make sure all lights work. These were small inconveniences which did not affect or enjoyment. Owner communication was very quick.

Summer vacay

There were plenty of things to do in the area. The house was amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Very roomy! Owner was very good with responses to questions. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay we ate out the whole stay so didn't really use the kitchen but we will not stay at this location again but they have other properties I would like to check out here are the cons, driveway is not made for boats you have to back in a narrow uphill path, the hot tub needs some maintenance , the mosquitos were bad so the little kids could not play outside much, the wifi does go in and out and we d goutoutside,

It was ok

Not totally impressed to be honest. The set up was super cute and there was a beautiful from the front porch for sure. The listing said there would be laundry soap available (there was not). The coffee maker did not have a pot and it and the other cookware had to be washed prior to use because they had food in/on it with mold growing. There were only 2 trash bags available so I had to make a list of things to go get for the remainder of the trip. I couldn't find any cleaning products (broom, mop,etc) and nothing to clean cabinets with. There were spider webs all through the house that we cleaned off on our arrival. And, yes, it is within walking distance of the lake but everywhere that there was access to the lake was covered in seaweed and clay so it was not swimmable. We did go to the pool which was fun, but we went for the lake and we're unable to access it to actually get it.

Pleasant place

Had a nice time. Enjoyed the hot tub. Quiet and peaceful. Swam at the community pool. Lakes were too full because of the rain but overall had a good time.

Great stay!

We loved the cabin! Super clean and cozy! The king bed was super comfy! Anything we needed was supplied. We would definitely stay there again but was not easy getting in and out of driveway with our F250 four door with a 21 foot Express bass boat. The driveway is narrow and makes a turn to get under carport. Other than that we would totally stay again but trying to not get in grass as requested was a challenge. The cabin itself is amazing and would recommend

Perfect spot for a getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was perfectly located for my husband’s fishing trip and the girls enjoyed antique shopping in nearby Jasper. The house was clean and the layout worked great for us! The pool table was an added bonus! We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck in the evening and morning coffee on the front porch watching the squirrels play! Thanks again for letting us stay in the Boathouse! It was perfect!!
