From the lanai of this gorgeous island home, you can view the endless stretch of shoreline looking both northward and southward. There is nothing between your lanai and the ocean to obstruct the expansive panoramic views.

The Kaha Lani Resort was built in a quiet (off the beaten path) area, with open space on all sides. You'll find it to be one of the most peaceful areas on the whole island. Let yourself fall asleep listening to the waves of the ocean as they dance on the edge of the shoreline, and wake to unforgettable sunrises every morning looking out over the ocean. Kaha Lani translates to "Heavenly Place", and that's exactly what you'll find here.

One of the wonderful things about this resort is it's central location on the island. It's almost the exact mid point between the Waimea Canyon / Koke'e park west shore area, and the Hanalei / Haena north shore area. When staying here, you're at least half way to anywhere on the island you wish to explore.

In the winter months, your lanai is a "front Row Seat" for watching the humpback whales that make Hawaii their winter home. If you enjoy walking along the shoreline, the beach here stretches for miles. Within minutes of the resort, you can visit Lydgate Beach Park, Wailua Golf Course, Wailua river, Opaekaa Falls, Sleeping Giant hiking trail, shops, restaurants, and so much more.

Soak up some sun at the pool, enjoy the beach, play a game of tennis, or just do nothing at all. The memories you make while on vacation at Kaha Lani will be the ones you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Wonderful! Beautiful Oceanside location. Very nice inside and out. TV was broken, we didn’t care. Well kept. Take note that this place does not have air conditioning. That’s gladly replaced by the amazing sea breeze when all the windows are open.

Beautiful Location

We loved everything about the condo! It has the most spectacular view
feeling the ocean breeze and hearing the crashing waves was everything. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The rainfall shower was so delightful. The condo is in a complex that is very well maintained and quiet. We left a pieces of our hearts there and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Good condo in an excellent location.

We were returning a a location we’ve visited many times after a gap of over ten years. This ocean front unit was in excellent condition (as were the ones we had stayed at in previous trips). There were issues with the linens and some confusion with the cleaner.

Beautiful escape

The condo was wonderfully located. Sunrise walks on the soft sandy beach right outside your door was amazing! Lydgate swimming area was perfect. Chad was very helpful and responsive. Will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is conveniently located and features a well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated the oceanfront view, quietness, and lanai. However, we felt that the cleanliness could be improved, especially considering the impact of humidity and salt on the property.

Birthday and Anniversary trip

This was my second time in Hawaii, first on Kaui'i. The island is definitely quieter than Maui or Oahu, and the scenery is amazing! As far as the property itself, it feels a little older and dated, but was comfortable and seemed well maintained. The beach was easily reached, the sand was soft, and there were very few people there. It was not a swimming or snorkeling beach as the waves are very strong here, but the public beach is easily reached by walking and there is a reef there that makes it safe and comfortable. This beach is more a sitting, reading, relaxing, and walking beach. There was, unfortunately, quite a bit of trash on sections we walked to, which made us sad to see. The only negative we have is something that cannot be easily remedied, namely the roosters! Hurricane Iniki apparently damaged a lot of chicken coops, leaving a large feral chicken population on the island. And these roosters are not on the same time zone as the island. One seemed to always be crowing at 3 AM! And since this unit is not air conditioned (who needs that on Hawaii, after all?), we had the windows opened. Despite that, my wife says this was her favorite place we stayed of the three islands we were on, due to the overall quiet and comfortable nature of the resort. Chad was very good as a host, and since our flight home left at 7:30 PM, we were able to stay an extra half day (for a small fee), which was a very very good thing!Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A Beautiful Spot to Celebrate an Anniversary

This is a lovely and well-equipped third floor property with magnificent, sweeping views of the ocean. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning while sipping coffee and planning our day. Accessing the paved walking path and the beach was easy from the beautifully maintained grounds and we loved that Lydgate beach was so close. We are already talking about a return trip - this time with our two grandsons. Thank you, Chad for making our 40th anniversary so memorable.

Fabulous Place

We stayed for one week in November 2024. The condo was so welcoming. It was such a joy to come in and have a light on and the breeze going through with lovely Hawaiian music playing on our arrival. We loved the decorating and having little extras throughout the condo. (Plenty of toilet paper, tissues, starter bath products, kitchen supplies, ice made and a pitcher of cold water in the fridge.) The communication with the property manager was quick and all information to have a good experience was provided before hand. The directions to the unit were great and very much appreciated. There were some older Kauai guide books in the living area that were very helpful. The view was absolutely the star of the show here (even though it was nice inside the condo too.) The lanai was private from the other units and was covered. (Rain did come down a few times and we could still sit outside.) Lydgate Park was a very short walk away on a cement sidewalk. We could easily walk there and take a dip in the sheltered lagoon there. If anyone wonders, there are no restaurants within walking distance but it's only about 10 minutes to the closest ones. We were happy to make that drive to have the calmness of the ocean view before us.

Kapa’a charm

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a very pleasant condo and of course the view is just beautiful. The check in and check out process was very easy. Any questions or issues were quickly responded to. The walking path was so convenient and we really enjoyed walking to Lydgate Park every day. We would highly recommend this condo.

Fantastic location and beautiful condo

All around fantastic stay. The location is amazing. Right in the middle so anywhere you want to go is no more than just over an hour. We literally visited every place on the island to the furthest west you can go by car and the drive was great from this home base. The property is quiet and clean. The condo had everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. Amenities were great, furniture was comfortable and everything was as advertised. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stunning location & property

The renovations were excellently done and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Chad, our contact with the property was so responsive before our stay, giving great suggestions on activities and dining. Every morning, we had breakfast on the lanai and took in the amazing view. You wint be disappointed renting thus condo.

Great location and place to hang out

We really enjoyed our time. The location is easy with access to walking paths, a good place to swim in the neighboring park and easy access to get around the island. The condo is well maintained, clean and it was very easy to settle in for a few days and call home during our vacation.
