Wurthmann House Unit #3 Your Home Away From Home

This unit is a ADA unit. The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored one bedroom suite on main floor features one original window, hardwood floors, locally made Amish furniture and beautiful views of historic Berlin.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable, spacious, and was at a fantastic location--right on the main street in Berlin, OH. Loved that it had a king size bed. Was very nice that there was a table and a sink in the kitchen. Lots of towels were provided.I have 2 complaints. 1. The bed had a very firm mattress. Some people like that, but we did not.2. My main complaint is -- and I am posting this just in case anyone else is sensitive to artificial fragrances -- the owners had one of the fragrance plug-ins in the room and it was set on high. The scent was SO strong. I actually had to unplug it and set it outside. I get very bad headaches when exposed to these. I had to keep opening up the door throughout the evening to air out the place to make it where I could stand being in there.These scents are not "welcoming" or make the place smell good. People should have a choice in whether they want to be exposed to these toxic chemicals.

The host was amazing and responded to my messages in a timely manner. They also went out of their way to accommodate us on short notice. Both units we stayed in were clean and so cozy, the beds very comfortable. If you see availability, don’t wait, book it! We will definitely be back!

Charming and cozy best describes this unit! Immaculately clean and tidy providing a wonderful experience right from the moment we walked in the door. The amenities were appreciated. The hosts were generous with towels, and other necessities. We will be back soon!

The directions got us right to our parking spot. The unit was welcoming and decorated for the season. We enjoyed being right off the Main Street of Berlin, close to shops and restaurants. The hosts had goodies in the unit, such as coffee pods and popcorn. Robert was there doing some outdoor maintenance. He welcomed us and checked that we could get into the unit. Later Connie texted to welcome us. That evening we had an issue, texted them and got a fix right away. It was a wonderful stay. We got to enjoy the area and stay in a great place.

Simply perfect! The location is fabulous and the property was perfect for a short stay. The space was immaculate and comfy. I appreciate that they allow one night reservations rather than requiring two nights. I will absolutely check the availability of this rental first when in the area again.

A wonderful relaxing getaway for me and my husband we celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary. The Wurthmann House Unit 3 was beautiful and very comfortable. The unit was very clean we are both very picky about where we stay and this exceeded our expectations and very budget friendly. Robert and Helen were great hosts we had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and they were very understanding and reimbursed our last night which we very much appreciated will book again soon!

One of the best stays anyway. Clean, super location, excellent communication, about as close to a perfect weekend stay place you would want to find. It was all as good as it gets! You won’t be disappointed at all staying here.

Great stay! This place was spotless and comfortable! Easy check-in, personal parking spot, and shopping convenience added to a perfect stay. Perfect size for an individual or a couple. You get a text when the unit is available, so you may have an opportunity to get in early if the cleaning crew is ahead of schedule. Don’t pass this up.

The property was quaint and well maintained. The process to book was very easy. Communication were fast and informative. I am semi-handicapped, so the layout and setup was fantastic. It was clean and spacious. Really liked the full size fridge. Have no qualms recommending this establishment. If we get to come back to Berlin, this will be our first choice for lodging.

Very nice

This was a perfect place to stay. Very quaint and especially lovely furnishings. The kitchen had everything that you needed, as well as the bathroom. Easy communication with the property manager and there were also lovely gifts. Situated on the Main Street, with easy access to the shops.
