Everything was perfect! Best place we have stayed at in the Amish country. Perfect location. Nice and quiet. And everything was spotless! Such an excellent place to stay!

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Milton House. The rental process was easy, and John was flexible when we had to make a change to the arrival/departure dates. The accommodations were clean and the kitchen well stocked. As we prefer cooking to dining out all the time, it would have been nice to have a dishwasher.

The Milton House is fantastic. John, the host, was super responsive and easy to reach. The House itself is brand new; the layout, color choices, appliances, furniture and details (back patio, keypad entrance, smart heating/cooling, etc.) are top- notch! The kitchen is well- equipped with amenities, including a French-press! Walk-in shower and double bathroom sinks and super comfortable mattresses and bedding were ‘luxury-hotel’ like! And, the location was perfect for horse and buggies passing by! Although our stay was only two nights, the Milton House is perfect for a longer stay! Highly recommend!!

Could hear alot of traffic on main street. And the access address was a bit confusing since it is not on main street. Other than that it was great. Beautiful.

This place was everything it says very low-key beautiful. We will definitely be going back several more times to stay at this place. We went for a wedding this time. But we traveled to go to Amish country all the time and this is much better than having to be in town in a hotel. If I could buy the place, I would definitely buy the place but until then we will continue to use this couples property.

A lovely home on a quiet street. Very clean and tidy. Kitchen was stocked with all the essential equipment to make a meal. Bathroom has a walk in shower that was easily accessible for me. We could've have asked for a better host.We will surely be returning!

Anniversary/Wedding Weekend

My husband and I met 27 yrs ago at a small bar named Miltons, so to celebrate our 25th anniversary by staying at the Milton house was quite special. The house was open, airy and incredibly clean! It was light, bright and decorated very comfortably with plush furniture and a basket of soft throws. We stayed several nights for our nephew's wedding and took in a couple great nearby places - Rebecca's restaurant and the local thrift store/annex. We actually enjoyed Milton house so much and the ease of working with the hosts, that we have booked their next door property, the Magnolia house for our other nephew's wedding in March 2025! --The Rouses

It Is A "10"!!!!!

Brilliantly designed property with ALL the comforts of home. Outstanding cleanliness, comfortable bedding and furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, convenient to all the area has to offer, excellent communication with the host. Been staying at vacation homes for 30+ years and this is certainly in the top 5. The perfect home in which to relax after an active day. It is a hidden gem among similar homes in the area.

Beautiful Home

The house is beautiful, well decorated, very clean. Very well stocked with anything you could think of, everything well thought out. I came with a friend for a weekend of shopping nearby. This house would be perfect for a small family. One bedroom was full of games and books etc for kids.

Can’t wait to stay again!

This house was beautiful! They thought of everything. It was beautifully decorated and SO clean! Loved that they had books around to read and tvs in each bedroom. Beds were comfortable, had plenty of towels/wash cloths and had pretty much anything you could think of. We are already trying to plan another trip just to stay here again. The best house we have rented on VRBO so far. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
