Joy of St Croix villa, formerly known as Green Cay with Envy, has an expansive open floor plan with 180° Caribbean Sea views. This new name change now matches our youtube channel, Joy of St Croix, which showcases the beauty around the island. 4 bedrooms - 2 with king sized beds and patio doors facing the sea, one with a queen sized bed & south facing patio/doors, and another with a queen sized bed and lots of privacy. Fully equipped kitchen to cook family sized meals. Dining room seats 10 easily, and the great room is lovely & welcoming, with books & games for children and adults. Walk 3 minutes to a secluded neighborhood beach on prune bay or 5 min to a calm bay with beach bar.

The villa is deep cleaned before each guest and has a 3,000 square-feet open floor-plan with amazing 180-degree north-facing Caribbean Sea views, including Vieques, St. Thomas, St. John, British Virgin Islands and Buck Island. And yes! On a clear day you really will be able to see those islands without binoculars.

Located just a few minutes east of downtown Christiansted in the secluded, highly desirable neighborhood of Green Cay, Joy of St Croix villa provides all the comforts of home with the added bonus of being just steps away from three spectacular St. Croix beaches; Prune Bay, Chenay Bay (home of the resort "Bungalows By The Bay "with kayaking, paddle boards & outdoor restaurant and bar) & Coakley Bay. You can walk to all of these!

From the back deck of Joy of St Croix, enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sailboats head to Buck Island. You definitely want to take a boat tour and snorkel here! The patio extends the length of the house and faces the Caribbean Sea. Grab some fresh local fish to grill while watching boats sail by or enjoy a glass of wine while gazing at the stars.

Point Udall is located 7.5 miles east of the villa and it's a sight not to be missed. A sundial known as the Millennium Monument was built above Point Udall for the New Year's celebration in 2000. Just before reaching the sundial, you'll find Jack and Isaac Bay Preserve - 300 acres of rolling hills skirted by white sand beaches, crystal waters and vibrant coral reefs. It's an unspoiled haven and one of the greatest treasures of the Virgin Islands. You can park and hike down to these amazing beaches. It may just be the closest experience you'll ever have to being on a deserted island - unspoiled beauty.

Christiansted is an 8-10 minute drive from the estate, and is the largest of the two towns located on the island. Sign up for a snorkel, parasailing or dive trip at one of the water sports locations, stroll along the boardwalk, or browse in the many eclectic boutiques and shops. The restaurants are quaint and usually offer open courtyard dining that feels very "old world". Don't worry - we'll provide a list of local favorites!

If you're looking for activity, the island has you covered. With the second largest barrier reef in the Caribbean, this place is a scuba divers dream! The dive sites are varied, and easy to access by boat and, in some cases, by shore. Nowhere else in the Caribbean can you dive a wreck, wall, pier and reef all in one day. You can even take all your course work online (about 5-10 hours total) and then do all of your in water work here in the Caribbean Sea! Feel free to ask us for advice on how to do this - our onsite manager often snorkels and scuba dives and is an experienced open water swimmer.

St Croix is 22.7 miles long and only 8 miles at its widest point. It's on the same latitude as Acapulco and Hawaii, and just below the Tropic of Cancer. It's an eternal summer here, with the average temperature in the mid-80s. We have snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, bio-luminescent tours, kayaking, deep sea fishing, spear fishing, parasailing, horseback riding on the beach……
