Escape to an indulgent private 3-bedroom gulf retreat in the Florida Keys, where luxury meets serenity. This stunning vacation home offers breathtaking views of the Bay, spacious outdoor lounging areas, tropical sunset firepit with seating, and a resort style swimming pool with a spillover spa. This special home is located on an acre of land and backed up to a secluded coral lagoon. A dream vacation in a dream location!

• Pet-friendly: Pets are welcome! Please notify us in advance and adhere to our pet policy. 1 acre fenced in yard perfect for pets.
• Fishing Enthusiasts: Fish cleaning table and bait freezer available. Right on open water, can fish right off the dock into the Gulf.

• Parking: 4+ parking spots for vehicles and trailers.

Outdoor Oasis:

Relax around the outdoor patio table while your family enjoys the pool or spillover spa, with the Gulf as your stunning backdrop. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for fun and s'mores. If you're in the mood to grill, a propane grill on the upper patio makes it easy. The property also features a boat dock for tying up your boat, plus easy access to the peaceful coral lagoon. The fully fenced yard offers a pet-friendly space, so your furry friends can enjoy paradise too!

2nd level of the home:

The spacious upper level features a dining room that seats up to 10 people and sleeping accommodations for up to six. It includes one bedroom, bedroom 3, with two Twin beds, another, bedroom 2, with a Queen bed, and a master suite with a King bed. The living area offers seating for up to 12, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy.

This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 6 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per each additional guest. This includes children and infants.

••• If you plan on docking a boat, ensure to verify first that your boat will be able to dock appropriately. Should you notice a boat lift, be advised that it is not for guest use.

••• This home is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $250+ tax per pet, per week. We regret to inform that we cannot accommodate cats.

home was great and very clean! Landscaping was rather growed up and needed work and the pool was dirty. The property manager had the pool cleaned right away! great place to relax!

Tropical setting

We arrived 5/17/25 - 5/24/25 upon arrival we instantly noticed the water and all the lush trees and large pool. The weather was perfect all week. We make a long drive to the keys every year for the fishing off the dock. The dock was not very long nor was the water very deep. (Listed in description) the wood seemed a little rotten in some areas it wouldn’t hurt to replace. The downstairs was very basic setup, not very cozy feeling. The upstairs was nice and comfortable. There’s a lot piles of palm leaves, wood, metal and etc lying around the property as well. Nothing that caused any concerns, just made the back around the fence look very junky. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again. Coco Plum rental was so friendly and helpful with all our needs.

Awesome view from pool

The best part of this property was sitting at the pool looking at the ocean. It gives a wide unobstructed view. Lots of palm trees that give a tropical vibe. We have no complaints, the dock could use some upgrading and the house really needs siding. Communication with the property managers was fantastic. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Property, however some.issues

House is on a very private lot. Upstairs and downstairs arr nice and are separate entrances. Downstairs wasn't cleaned when we checked in but they came rt out and took care of it. Did not tell me pool company was coming and was alone and walked out to find 2 men who came through closed gate standing in yard while my husband and kids were on all day fishing trip. When I questioned who they were they were ..they were ignorant and confrontational and told me quote " Not our problem no one told you..thats your problem" I was exstreamly uncomfortable and quite frankly scared because they were so arrogant to me and I was by myself and no houses around to even see me . I did call Coco who first said they didn't know who the men were and then said they would check and said oh ya the pool company comes out sorry we didn't tell you. I didn't appreciate the lack of communication and lack on concern for my safety when I told them. The house was nice, sunsets were amazing, house very well equipped. Were wierd worms that were all over property and in house too. Nice home but not sure I will stay again because of lack of concern for my safety. 2 strange men who came.through a closed gate and were arrogant and confidential to a female guest who was alone on a 1 acre secluded private property should.have warranted a immediate response, a team member should have gone to property to confront the men and make sure I was ok. I spent the rest of day with phone in my hand scared and concerned for.my safety

Overall a nice stay

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very private and quiet. It's not a 5 star resort, but overall nice, especially for the price. No one bothered us all week. We enjoyed watching the lizards wander the property. We even started naming them. The house was clean and had plenty of dishes, utensils, towels, extra sheets, and blankets, but had an odor of mildew throughout, especially in the lower level. It wasn't too bad on the upper level. We were able to manage with some air fresheners. The furniture and beds were all decent. We loved having multiple TVs so we didn't have to fight over what to watch at night. The bathrooms were ok, as was the kitchen, but could use some updating (not really an issue). It was nice to have multiple refrigerators. There were, however, a few errors/discrepancies in the description. The listing says bedroom 5 has a bunk bed in the written description, but under "bedrooms" it says sleeper sofa. It has bunk beds and no sleeper sofa in that room. It also says you can fit 12 people in the upstairs living room. That would be difficult. We had trouble fitting 8, but it wasn't a big deal. It also says heated pool and spa, but it doesn't say that they don't turn the heat on till December (we were there early November). I called immediately when we got there on Saturday and they said there was nothing they could do till Monday. But they did come out on Monday and turned the heat on. So the pool was chilly for a few days. And the spa is the same temperature as the pool (I thought it would be hot like a hot tub) and the jets don't work. There is no hot tub on this property. A little disappointing, but it was quite hot out so didn't really need it. The pool was also a little dirty as they don't clean it until mid-week, but it was mostly sand, so no big deal. But the sunsets were amazing! Overall, I would recommend this house. You can't beat the price for a Gulf-front home with a pool. Just keep in mind that the upper and lower levels are not connected on the inside. You have to go outside to get from one to the other. It wan't a problem for us though. I also wish they had provided a kayak or two as many other homes do, but not a deal breaker. You can rent your own.

MAINTENANCE NIGHTMARE

To: VRBO April 3, 2022 Re: MAINTENANCE NIGHTMARE VRBO: #4933115ha, RES ID: HA-HT1GF3 Host: Coco Plum Vacation Rental 03/26/2022-04/02/2022 The following were repair/maintenance problems that we had during our stay: The icemaker in the upstairs freezer did not work, the 10 jets in the “jetted spa” did not work at all, the switches for the spa did not work, the pool was very dirty and the filter was not working, there were lots of cigarettes butts on the ground around the pool, there were several tiles missing in the spa and the pool at the water surface and there was black mold in the same tile areas, the bottom rung on the pool ladder was broken off the right side of the vertical metal bar, the upstairs thermostat had a low battery warning and it was not securely mounted to the wall and sometimes the up and down temp. buttons did not work, the master bedroom tub faucet leaked constantly and was not mounted firmly to the tile wall, the master bathroom tub did not drain (filled up above your feet and covered the entire tub when taking a shower), the TV in the master bedroom was not working (one of our guests was able to trouble shoot the plug wires that were not put in properly or hooked up correctly), two out of six lights were not working above the master bathroom sink, there was a hole in the master bathroom door from the towel rack mounted behind the door, the two propane tanks (one attached to the grill, one on the ground near the house) were empty, no recycle bin was on property as stated in the rental manual, the digital code to the upstairs door lock didn’t work at one point (Denise-Coco Plum employee who came out to fix it had the code not work when she was there, but then it started to work again so she stated she didn’t think it was fair to charge the owner $200 to replace the locking unit and left), the downstairs toilet leaked and started to flush without warning on its own, the dryer lint screen area was filled with so much lint, sand and debris that the lint screen could not be placed back in the slot after it was removed to be cleaned, both microwave surface lights were not working, the floors and both kitchen ceiling lights were dirty (we could see a large amount of debris inside the kitchen light covers and a wet paper towel was wiped on the master bathroom floor upon arrival and it was filthy). There is more to say than this. We will be emailing the entire letter to Brian Keaster and Trent York so it can be addressed.

I am a very reasonable person & never leave negative reviews but this house pushed me to feel an overwhelming feeling that we were bamboozled. This was a total bait & switch situation, my pics and the listing pics are a big difference. We chose this property based on amenities listed. The property on arrival was not ready for guests to check in: the ping pong table net was completely broken & unusable, property management said it would be replaced by the afternoon.. never replaced during our weeks stay. There are 5 bikes provided all with flat tires. I am a frequent kayaker but this was unsafe: you have to drag the kayak 150 yards down a very rickety dock and then drop 4 feet onto an unstable floating plastic doc to launch not sure how you would get them back up. The pool while it was completely covered with leaves both floating and on the bottom also was not the beautiful white pool they show in the pics, its mostly black mold and tiles literally falling off on the side if you touch them. Pics say heated pool.. you have to pay daily. Black mold around the vents inside the house. The master bath slopes down weirdly to the toilet. Also weird, we didn't have access to the 1st floor but one night the light in the garage was on & when I looked in it just had stuff piled to the ceiling. Piles of debris all over the property just terribly unkept. Stingy with supplies: 2 rolls of toilet paper for the week 1 paper towel roll 2 dishwasher tabs and a binder full of rules

Beautiful views

The property was perfect for a fun week in the Keys. The house was very comfortable and we loved that it was dog friendly. The management company was very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat! Only a few items to note- the upstairs and downstairs are not connected by indoor stairs (just more of an FYI if traveling with a larger family) and the kitchen is a bit sparse with silverware and dishes.

Amazing Property

This isn’t a 5 star hotel but it’s a 10 star property that serves you up a slice of heaven! The house could use some updates and tweaks here and there but nothing that’s going stop me from renting here again. House feels like a home away from home and you can tell they are working very hard to get the surrounding property just they way they want it .

-Fantastic property with amazing views of the Florida sunset -Outdoor pool provided hours of entertainment -Plenty of outdoor seating options (2nd floor deck was fantastic) -House is older but has undergone the necessary updates. -`--Having two separate living areas (1st floor and second) including two kitchens was convenient. Need more towels/washcloths and kitchen towels. Cleaning lady was there late 6p or later finishing. Rules/book confusing for check out instructions for linens and laundry. More spoons. We had a wonderful time--all ages--the pool was the highlight as I witnessed my 3 year old granddaughter turn into a mermaid and swam everyday! House is well stocked and big enough for everyone to have their own space.

Nice property, cleaning lacking

The property was as pictured, spacious for a larger group. Nice decor and a lot of seating, inside and out. Beds were very comfortable. The cleaning was very poor. The cleaners were there when we arrived 45 minutes after check in time. The floors were dirty, fans were coated in dust. Upstairs dishwasher was broken, not fixed during our stay. Good communication from property management except re: resolution of dishwasher. Would recommend but unfortunate that prior feedback re: cleaning has not been addressed.

Fun on the ocean

We had a good stay. Loved fishing off the dock, one of caught a shark off the dock, Seen plenty of sting ray and other ocean life. House was setup nicely with 2 different levels.

Sunsets in Paradise Indeed!

Such a unique find in the Keys, 1 acre lot, very private and quiet in a nice residential area with amazing sunsets! Interesting layout with 2 separate levels, the stairs provide a good workout. The pool was delightful, a bit dated but perfectly located next to the water. Interiors have been nicely updated, very comfortable. Quick response/fix by managers to correct a power issue on the patio. Would love to return someday!

Beautiful place

We loved this house.. check in was a breeze. We had to communicate with the manager, they responded fast. Sunsets are to die for.. really recommend this house.

Beautiful Property

The property was beautiful, clean and had an amazing sunset every evening. The downside was the early checkout with a lengthy list of cleaning and laundry tasks that must be done prior to checkout, including taking garbage out to curb. Overall it was a very nice property and I would stay there again.

Fabulous retreat

Our stay at Grassy Key was wonderful. The house and property are very well maintained and affords plenty of space for family to both spend time together and spread out. We enjoyed the pool, beautiful sunsets and area wildlife. It was a perfect place for our vacation.

Dock, Grill and smells

This is my honest opinion for the money it cost to rent this house. #1 The upstairs unit had a bad odor of either pet urine or mold. #2 the grill was out of propane and needs to be replaced. #3 The dock needs a lot of work and a ladder added so you the people can get into the water. There is no water entry anywhere if you have kids. As an adult we figured it out but was very challenging. #4 No....... boats, snorkel gear, kayaks, fishing gear basically nothing on property However, The property was very beautiful and secluded with lots of privacy. Very clean house the sunsets were amazing and the pool was refreshing. We did have an emergency on our stay with a main plumbing leak and management had it fixed in no time. Five star on emergency I think check out time should be more like 11am because with the rules of laundry it took us almost 2 days to finish the bedding & towels to leave on time. We actually meet the cleaning crew on our way out because of this rule. All in all it was a very nice vacation just a couple of concerns that you the renter should know Thank you Jason

Truly Sunsets in Paradise

I give this property five stars for the view! The house is old but newly renovated and comfortable for a big family. My only suggestions for improvement are at least 2 more outdoor trash cans and a few more pots & pans
