The house had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, utensils and crockery. Bedrooms are spacious, living area is huge and the pool area is great for hanging out. The whole place was very clean and tidy. The beach is a short walk away, shops a short drive.

Perfect house location - in close proximity to a local beach and Venice pier. Extremely clean and well decorated inside; everything what you need in kitchen; and the most important is very responsible host. Nice & comfy Florida vacation spot. We'll be back.

We were very pleased with this home, nicely furnished and decorated. Beds were comfy and closets and storage were plentiful. Amy the host was quick to respond to our inquiries which we were happy with. You cannot beat the location, the beach is down the street and many restaurants are close by. We definitely look forward to our next trip.

Such a lovely home. Well decorated. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. All the conveniences we needed, esp the pool to beat the afternoon heat! Host did an excellent job of communicating.The nearby beach isnt the greatest unless you're fossil hunting...30 min north and youll have beautiful white sand and clear blue water.

House and Neighborhood Good

Everything with the exception of the air conditioning was perfect. AC can’t keep up and upon check in the host had it set to 78. It took all night to cool the house to a comfortable level. Had issues the whole week with it holding less than 76. Had to leave house unlocked three days in a row for tech to come check it and it still wasn’t fixed. Host said had been having issues with it for months. Everything else was perfect! Great home, location to beach and peaceful neighborhood. The pool and outside areas was the best. Came in handy with the struggling AC.

Excellent property

We stayed for a week at this location. It is a great home with great location. Amy was quick to respond when we had questions. Honestly this was one of our best experiences with renting in this location. Very close to the beach as well. We will definitely be back!

Clean, spacious, great facilities and great location. Quiet neighborhood. The airfield did not really affect us other than one plane who appeared to do a fuel dump in the air and this lingered for around 30 minutes. We thought it was a private beach, but it's a private beach access, however, that didn't affect our stay and the beach area was never crowded. The golf course a 5 minute drive away was a good bonus. The only downside for us was the Black Racer and Corn snakes you get in this area, which my wife wasn't fond of, although they were all outside the screened area and moved away from you if you approach them, so again, not a bother (we are English so not used to them). Great comms from the host when we arrived as couldn't get the wifi working and response time was less than 5 mins on email from host and solved issue straight away. Despite the minor points, it's great value for what you get and as described.

Love this house!

Awesome house and location! The backyard was perfect. We enjoyed eating and swimming outside every day. The pool was a very good size and always a perfect temperature. We loved how it was screened off so no bugs got in. The pool lit up at night, there are 2 fans outside that kept us cool on hot days, and the furniture is very comfortable. 10/10 for the backyard!The inside of the house is completely renovated, very clean, and very modern! The kitchen, bathrooms, beds, and furniture were in perfect condition and made our stay very comfortable! The kids loved their room and their bunk beds. This house was very spacious and had everything we needed for 6 people. 10/10 for the interior.The location. My in-laws love taking walks in the mornings and absolutely loved being able to walk to the beach every morning. We rented a golf cart for the week which made it a 2 minute ride to their private beach access and a 4 minute ride to sharkies on the pier. The private beach had chairs on the beach, which was very convenient. Speaking of chairs, the owners had EVERYTHING in the garage. Beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, buckets and shovels for kids. The entire Venice area was quiet, clean, no traffic, and very beautiful so I give this location a 10/10.The owners were some of the best hosts we've ever had. Amy was a text away for ANYTHING. We had a small issue with the AC. They called a tech right away and fixed it. Excellent customer service! Dont think twice, book this house!

This place was so nice and convenient

We absolutely love this place. Such a great location. The house was Immaculate. We really enjoyed it. The pool was nice. The only thing that would of made it wonderful would be a little more pool privacy from the neighbors. Otherwise a very nice outdoor area. We already signed up for next year.. cant wait to come back.

An amazing gem!

This home is everything you see in the photos and more! We enjoyed walking to the beach at least once a day and driving to other entrances that were close by. Restaurants are super close to drive to, we didn’t have a bad meal at any of the restaurants we visited. Grocery stores are also close by. We had plenty of beach towels and purchased some new beach gear for future guests as others left many broken items. The street this home is on is very quiet and the neighbors we met were very pleasant. We absolutely loved this home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were sure to book our next years stay in this same home already!

Enjoyable stay, but grounds need attention.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this remodeled home in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The airport is very close by, but that didn't bother us at all. The interior of the property is remodeled quite nicely, and the beds were quite comfortable.A few suggestions for improvement would be installing an electronic lock rather than having to use keys, having a TV in the queen bedroom, and a thorough cleaning of the garage floor.When it comes to the exterior of the property, there is quite a bit of maintenance required for the grounds. There is still debris in some areas of the yard from storms, a cable line hanging down from the fascia, and numerous other items that need to be cleaned up. In addition, a thorough raking of the property is needed.The pool was very nice, and temperature was good. The bottom of the pool on the shallow end could also use some attention as it is peeling a bit. Also, a television in the lanai area would be a great addition!

Great house by the beach

Beautiful home as described. Had issues with the pool heater which took 2 weeks to fix. Also some minor things inside the house that were fixed. Owner is wonderful. Noisy as it’s by the airport but it’s close to the beach and has a beautiful lanai area. Also really nice neighbors. Would stay again.

Beautifully furnished holiday accommodation.

This property has been recently remodelled and is extremely well furnished with every possible facility and everything you might need.Venice is a vibrant town with lots of activities, particularly at this time of year: Grand Christmas Parade, Boat Parade which is spectacular and not to be missed, illuminations on Venice Avenue, farmers market and large craft fair near the pier.A private beach is 3 minutes away - go and view the sunset!Unfortunately Hurricane Milton destroyed the lanai before we arrived, which will hopefully be replaced soon. If possible some curtains within the new lanai will improve pool privacy.Prior to our trip, communication with the owner was excellent and very responsive, however the owner then appointed an estate management company who promptly sent us an invoice for 1.06 without any proper explanation.

Great Beach House in Venice

Stayed with husband and daughters for a week. Loved the pool and outdoor seating. It was great being able to go back and forth to the beach all day. House was lovely and had everything needed for a relaxing week. Great location. Went to Siesta Key one day - about a half hour away, and Gasparilla Island another day - 45 minutes away. Would return.

Relaxing Getaway

Quiet, older neighborhood, but close to small airport, so you hear planes flying all the time, but didn’t bother us any, & friendly neighbors, we would take walks around the area. Was on vacation with husband, & another couple, we did drive to places to get around to the restaurants & beaches, lots of good restaurants to eat at, got our fill of seafood 😊 The house is nicely decorated, plenty of room for the four of us, plus we cooked a few meals there too, lots of counter space, & nice to have extra fridge in garage. Amy was very courteous, & replied fast to any, & all of my questions. We couldn’t find a cooler, so we bought one & left there, but that’s ok, it’s for the next renters to use. It was a well needed, & relaxing vacation by all 😎 Thank you again Amy.
