Guest suite with separate entrance. We live upstairs so are around if you need us. Fifteen minutes from downtown Hickory. Breweries, coffee shops, and dining all within minutes! The river is a mile down the road, with a Mountain View from the backyard. Relax on the patio and watch the horses! Larger mini fridge, and a fire pit outside. Enjoy a variety of coffees from the Keurig.

The guest suite is in a very nice neighborhood outside of Hickory. The check-in process was easy and Ashley communicated with me throughout my stay. The accommodations were fine - similar to a hotel room - bed, tv, and bathroom. A sitting chair would add an option for watching tv or reading. The room is below the main house and you can hear voices and footsteps. Ashley gave me a heads-up that she was having friends over one night which I appreciated her letting me know. I will stay here again.

Overnight stay for family emergency

This property is set in a beautiful country location but mere minutes from chain restaurants and local family owned restaurants. This VRBO is very serene and peaceful. The bedroom is large and the bathroom is incredible! Ashley is fantastic. She made our stay very comfortable and check-in/check-out was seamless!

Beautiful stay during a medical crisis

My daughter and her dog needed a last minute place to stay during a local family member's medical crisis. Ashley was absolutely incredible in every way. Superb lodging. Beautiful country setting. Ashley accommodated us in every need we expressed. I HIGHLY recommend this host!!!

Walked in and the room was well lit, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Sat on a gorgeous farm property that made for amazing sunrise and sunset watching.

A Sweet Place

You are staying in room with a separate entrance in a home with a lovely family in the home above. In the country with lots of green pasture and big lots but downtown Hickory is only about 20 minutes away. A big room with pleasing decor. A patio of your own that overlooks a beautiful yard. Spacious newer bathroom. Its quiet and you don't need to be concerned about noise. We enjoyed our stay there, but there are a few negatives. There's a need for somewhere inside to eat take out or prepare a sandwhich. There is no where to eat other than the bed and there is no where to sit other than the bed. A microwave would also be helpful. If you don't any of need that you'll be fine.

Exceptional accommodation

It's a large, clean room. The location is in ideal country setting, close to all the Hickory area has to offer. The host were attentive and responsive to any of our concerns. The only advice I would offer is have a couple of comfortable chairs and perhaps a microwave. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.

Good homebase

Good proximity to downtown Hickory and not too far from South Mountain State Park for hiking. It was a great place to sleep for a few nights!

Clean, safe stay in a beautiful country neighborhood. 1 suggestion a chair and a small table would help when bringing back takeout food for meals. TV would not let me use my Sling credentials to watch college football. Thanks for allowing us to share your home.
