Quiet ocean getaway

It was a lovely spot and was well appointed for having meals in the room. I particularly appreciated the wonderful heated pool. Given the cool, et weather, we also appreciated the close proximity to a dryer.

Great location!

The Blue View Inn was a wonderful place to stay! They were extremely accommodating and let us check-in early. I will definitely be back when visiting family in Melbourne.

Had a great stay. Our family loved the pool and the beach access. It was great having the beach toys. Everything was clean. Kids loved the birds. We can’t wait to come back again. Great value!

Cozy, relaxing stay

What a great place to take my mother for Mother’s Day. It was relaxing, clean and just as it was described online. I highly recommend this place. It’s great for families with young children too!

My teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us and we loved the heated pool. The second floor unit was clean, quiet and the beds are so comfortable. We had the beach to ourselves and really appreciated the quick and easy access.

Perfect Beach Stay

This location is perfect for a quiet beach stay. It had everything we needed to eat breakfast and lunch without having to go out. Easy to find and seamless to checkin and out. This stay exceeded our expectations. Note: The property itself is shared with other guests, which gave it a great energy. Just as an fyi.

Relaxing time. Everything we needed at the resort. Easy walk to be beach front. Lots of undeveloped area. See the sea turtles tracks in the morning was exciting.

Very Nice

The Poolside Suite was way more than expected as this is our first VRBO experience. Quiet. Respectful neighbors. Virtually private beach due to location. Beautiful property and highly recommend to others. Should we travel to the area again, the chances of us staying there again are high.

5 star property w/ a few flaws for unit

I wish I could rate our stay as a 4 1/2 star - it is definitely a 5 star property... close to the ocean/beach, super clean pool, great deck next to the beach, and very clean unit(except for dirty bath mat/rug). Problem was lack of hot water in shower. Water was warm or even cool for 80% of our showers. Maybe the unit loses hot water to washer located below?? Beds have foam mattresses so they are not real firm but some people like that. They need luggage racks, dresser, or shelves in bedroom for clothes. Property manager very responsive, helpful, and nice. We'd book again here, the property is part of Blue View Inn and is great!

Not What We Expected

Christy, the manager was great with communicating with us, refunding our money, and understanding our desire to leave early. First, the floor needed to be vacuumed, the shower faucet and tub were covered with a white film and toothpaste globs. We went to the store to buy cleaning products so we could clean the place ourselves since we planned to stay for a week.The beach had a 61/2-7 foot drop due down to reach the rest of the beach and ocean due to aa storm. It made it difficult to take chairs to the beach.The reason we asked for a refund is this, there was open sewer - literally used toilet paper and waste in the front of the building we were staying in. We thought it would be addressed, by the next day it still had not been addressed and wouldn't be resolved until late in the afternoon.

Had a good stay

There are lots of pro's to this property. The locations felt remote (it was about 20 minutes from most restaurants, but had one or two restaurants and a Publix grocery store within 5 min). The beach was private and quiet. Staff was kind and responsive. The rooms are well put together. The kitchenette was great - good mini fridge, microwave, and small toaster oven/air fryer. What keeps me from giving it 5 stars? not as clean as I would have hoped -mold on the shower curtain, hair in the sheets (when we arrived - not ours), dirty counter tops, and after 2 days our towels smelled of mildew even though we hung them to dry after each use. we had a bug issue on our last night. we had probably 60 flying bugs of some sort in the bedroom - mostly on the ceiling in the corners but some had gotten into the beds. The property manager came in and helped. They were very kind about it. They sprayed and cleaned up. But it made for a rather unpleasant 1-2 hours of our last evening. 2 things that you may want to know before you book: if you're looking for quiet, this may not be the place for you. The walls are very thin. I could here people below us having conversations all evening. it says it's a no-smoking property but for 2 days of our stay we had to close our door because someone was smoking and it was coming into our room - the person was smoking right by the management office - which leads me to believe they don't enforce the no smoking policy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beach was perfect. The staff was attentive and kind. We'd definitely come again.
