Home for rent consisting of 3 bed, 2 bath covering around 2,000 SF. It has a mountain log theme, many amenities, stunning views, and perfect for all occasions. For fishing, Lake Deweese is 13 miles from house on paved road; mt. lakes, Arkansas River is 40 minutes & 32 miles. Royal Gorge is 70 minutes and 55 miles.

Quiet and Gorgeous Stay in the Mountainside Forest

Very spacious, comfortable and beautiful location on the mountainside of the Sanger de Cristo Range. The night sky is SPECTACULAR- you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye!

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend while exploring the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The cabin’s location was perfect, just minutes from the trailheads and only a short 10–15 minute drive into town.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything seamless.The cabin itself was spotless and so well-stocked. It had everything we needed: TV, internet, music, and a fully equipped kitchen, which made it feel like home right away.If we plan another trip to the Sangre de Cristo area, we’d be delighted to stay here again.Thank you for such a great experience!

Birthday

Everything was fantastic, from the original booking all the way to check out. We had to make a change in who was attending, Robert’s response was timely and friendly. The house was comfortable and beautiful, well appointed, WiFi access was good. Plenty of dishes, utensils, etc; may not seem like a big deal, but it is. The area is gorgeous and private.

Nice home for a family or multiple couples

We enjoyed our stay celebrating New Years with famliy. We have a family home in Wescliffe and used this house primarily for extra sleeping space. The house is as desciribed and the pictures are a good representation of what you are renting. The location is good and easy to get to. We woke up to fresh snow covering the trees and beautiful views.

Would stay again

Had an event in Westcliffe that most people were camping at. I just had surgery and didn’t feel that was a good idea, so I booked this house. Thank goodness because it was better than I expected! We had plenty of room. Very clean and accommodating. I was able to make additional special arrangements with the host, who was very responsive! Everyone said they would stay there again.

My sister and I enjoyed the peace and solitude this property offered. The property was exactly as advertised, and the host was quick to respond. The house is dated but kitchen is stocked with any cooking utensil you could need. Property is easy to get to and a trailhead is a very short walk from the property. 6 miles to town is also a plus. Only concern we had was the deck stairs and some of the railing. The 4 stairs were narrow and somewhat wobbly so someone with mobility issues, needs to be cautious. Also, a vertical rail came loose when I was leaning on the top rail so could be hazard to a child or pet. Otherwise, we would definitely consider coming back to this property. It is a lot of house for the cost so quite economical.
