Nice house and a perfect set up for our visit to Matthews and Cardinal for a family wedding. The kitchen was especially well equipped and the house is conveniently located to town and groceries. I highly recommended visiting the Matthews museum especially if you’re into history.

Great location. Less than a 10 minute drive to several beach access points. Grocery store is a 5 minute drive, plus lots of local shops. Home was clean and well stocked. I’m most impressed with the host. They were the most pleasant host I’ve come in contact with. I travel for work on a weekly basis and these folks stand out. If I’m back in the area, I hope to be able to book with them again.

Fantastic vacation

We had such a great vacation at this property. It was very clean and very comfortable. The main beach was just 10 minutes away and lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The owners were great to work with. We will definitely be coming back.

Relaxing vacation!

Very clean, comfortable, easy to find and in a great neighborhood. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely be staying here again. There was plenty of room for us all and the kids had a good time playing in the backyard. The beds were comfy as well!

Great place for a quiet and relaxing week

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! Was perfect for 3 couples and a 2 year old. We enjoyed the fire pit almost every night, completed 3 puzzles, and enjoyed being walking distance to a great seafood restaurant and pizza place! House was also great for day trips!

Bay-cation Beauty

Great location near the Chesapeake Bay and small towns full of character. The house was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the small touches, such as the tea on the cute little hot drink bar.

Family visit

We were in town so my dad (79) could surprise his sister (80) with a visit after several years, and it was perfect! Great place to stay, convenient location, clean and homey. Accommodation directions were clear and easy process to check in and out! Would definitely stay there again!

Great family house

Close to small town of Mathews Virginia and close to Gloucester for the event we were attending. Plenty of room for all of us to have space to relax.

Wedding weekend

Super cute and comfy home! Spacious rooms and kitchen, perfect for a large family. Great location to all shopping and restaurants. Nice amenities inside and out. I would recommend this property highly if you're traveling to this area or close by Williamsburg.

Clean Easy stay with a toddler

Highly Recommend!

Our stay in Mathews was great! We came for a wedding so only stayed 1 night, but the house was clean and had everything we needed. We also were able to enjoy the fire pit. The hosts were great and very communicative.

Lovely house with lots of thoughtful touches

This house has been beautifully renovated and well maintained. Clean and bright and very welcoming. Great location for everywhere we wanted to go. Prompt and helpful communication from owner and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would definitely stay again, and recommend highly!
