Everything was good. Biggest problem was that the dock couldn’t be used due to low lake level which I was warned about.

Great location great view

It’s a lovely house in a beautiful place. We were impressed how clean it was when we got in. The neighborhood is safe and pleasing. The lot, the fire pit and the deck was awesome.

Very nice lake house

We had a great time at our stay here. The only downside is called out in the description; the dock is in a very busy area so not a great place to swim or dock a boat. Otherwise it's wonderful and beautiful location.

Great time at Pine Knob Point

Overall great location with beautiful views! Just know if you plan to bring/rent a boat this location is very busy and will not allow for long term docking due all the boat traffic. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return to SML next year just maybe a different location. Sleeping arrangements were a bit challenging for us-only twin beds on second floor bedrooms. But service and communication was great, checkin/out process was smooth and easy, and house was well stocked!

We almost never review properties we rent and we have rented properties all over the world for two decades.However, although the property had all the features advertised, it was not in good repair or clean. When we arrived, we called the rental company to let them know that the floors and rugs were full of dog hair. The only reason we mentioned it is the fact that they were very specific about not allowing dogs on furniture. extra fees for dog hair or damage, etc. and we had two dogs with us. To their credit, the rental company offered to re-clean the property and we declined since we were already moving in and did not want to wait.The property itself was not well maintained. Let me explain; kitchen cabinets are worn and drawers are nearly falling out, furniture is dirty (crumbs, scratches, etc.), my wife cut her foot on broken glass in the laundry room, and not all the beds were made (regardless of what the rental company promised). Most disturbing was the fact that the railing on the second floor deck were not attached in one section. This is a significant safety hazard that we mentioned to the cleaning lady when we left (I have pictures of the loose / falling-off - railings). My hope is that the owners (since tis is a managed property) take notice of the current state their property is in and fix it. With all that said, we had a wonderful time at SML. There was certainly enough room for our group and the views were great.

The house was in the perfect location. The roads were newly paved and the public boat ramp was very close and in good condition. The house itself was nice. The 2 larger bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The other beds were more for children. Small and not very comfortable. The boat dock was brand new and beautiful. We spent the majority of the time on the dock and upper deck. We brought our boat and luckily, 6 boat bumpers. We used every one due to the boat traffic. My advice is to petition the city to install a no wake zone. It was heavily trafficked and not many boats, pontoons and see doos were very respectful of how close and fast they drove by. Other than that, the weather was great, the management company was excellent and the lake was beautiful.

Beautiful property right on the lake. Dining and entertainment close by. The house could use some maintenance and updating but the fact that it sits on the water was what we were looking for. Space for us, my kids, and my MIL under one roof!
