Kalm Palms is a hidden gem. It is centrally located with easy access to beaches, grocery stores and restaurants but it provides a quiet oasis. Nestled in lush landscape, it offers stunning ocean views from the bedrooms and terraces. ll bedrooms are poolside and we offer everything you might need including full laundry room, bath amenities, fully stocked kitchen, ice chest and even beach chairs!

In addition we offer the complimentary services of our experienced trip planner and concierge. They will take the guesswork out of your trip planning and will help with airport transportation, rental cars, activities, in-home spa treatments, private chef services and dine-out suggestions! Midweek housekeeping is included and a light daily cleaning is available for a small additional fee.

House was great, rooms were great, pool was great, views were great. I had 1 issue the whole time, the lawn care folk came midday while we were outside hanging out at the pool. They didn’t respect that we were hanging out and proceeded use gas blowers for the next hour right next to us forcing us to pick up and go inside.

Kalm Palms is a dream property, immaculate and well supplied with everything you need. It’s very private and secure, with easy access to town, beach and market. What sets it apart is the attentive, friendly and knowledgeable concierge service - Francisco. was amazing.

Even better than it looks

The house was fully stocked with every utensil you could need. Beautiful scenery the pool was just right for us. The beds were comfortable and the showers were wonderful as well even the outdoor shower was great. Communication with the property manager was top-notch. This house would be perfect for three couples or a family

Relaxing two weeks

Perfect home and location for our family. Outstanding new home with private pool and outdoor living area. Sleepy beach town easily walkable from this gated community. Outstanding area restaurants. Our host Francisco was great, meeting us at check in to orient us, as well as taking care of details and reservations for local adventures.

2 couples long weekend

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Newer construction in a gated community felt very secure and luxurious. The house is even more stunning than the photos! Very nice, private outdoor area with plenty of places to sit or enjoy the pool. Perfect for 2 or 3 couples with king-sized beds and private bath for all (or 1 room can be done as 2 twins instead), plus very nice half bath.Adrianna was an excellent coordinator in the planning phase, and Francisco paid attention to every detail while we were there. Both were very attentive and quick to respond to our questions and requests.I highly recommend this property!!

Francisco was an amazing host and professional from start to finish! He did an amazing job communicating and supporting me and my family setting up excursions, checking in, providing rental car service, transportation to and from the airport, etc. I can’t say enough how grateful and thankful we are to have such a host and an amazing property to stay at while our time in Costa Rica! Perfect Family Vacation

I cannot more strongly recommend this home. The entire process was way beyond my expectations. Francisco and Adriana were amazing in helping plan our vacation. They made amazing suggestions for both food and activities. They helped reserve us the best spots and activities. Every aspect of the home and vacation went extremely smoothly thanks to all of their help and support. The house was also spectacular. The girls swam in the pool while my wife and I enjoyed the perfect sunset. We will absolutely be coming back soon!

The stay was absolutely perfect. We snuck away for my wife's birthday and couldn't have been more pleased with our decision on place and location. The house is perfectly appointed and private. Francisco, the Concierge is a professional. Very responsive and every recommendation was spot on. If I owned a house to rent in the area, I'd insist on Francisco being dedicated to it. Fantastic Family holiday

I looked at many houses before confirming this gorgeous house in Monte Bello. The communication both pre arrival and on site was amazing. A full day by day agenda was provided for us before our arrival. Francisco was waiting for us at the house to provide a full walk through and then anything we might need during our stay. The house is exactly as described, beautifully appointed, no item has been overlooked. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. Beds and linens so comfortable and waking up with those views each morning was like a dream come true. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful and Relaxing!

My wife and another couple loved the property! Picture a secluded vacation villa where movie stars stay. We were all so relaxed and refreshed after staying here. We spent a lot of time laying by and in the pool that overlooks the ocean. This large property had everything we needed. Our manager Francisco and the team went above and beyond to help us with accommodations. They handled the transportation, rental car, cleaning, and food when requested. We had a last minute issue with our flight out of the country and we had to make emergency accommodations. I called Francisco in the evening and he made arrangements for us. We would all definitely recommend this property and its staff.

If you are wondering, just book! This place is exactly like the photos. The views are better than they appear in the pics. We spent 5 days in Guancaste, and spent most of the time at the property, only because it was so relaxing and beautiful. The home is very safe, in a gated and secured community. Francisco, the property concierge is incredibly helpful. The management company offers services to help with tours, rental cars, grocery delivery, etc. We could not be more pleased with our visit. I really wanted to hear the Howler Monkeys, and we could hear them daily from the property. Loads of birds and even a Coati was nearby. If you have a big group, this house offers plenty of space!

As Advertised

Firstly, congratulations to the owner(s) of the property. The residence is impecable! It is refreshing to see someone who has pride of ownership and who puts quality into a home. This place as everything you need from extremely comfortable beds, to a modern functional kitchen stocked with everything you would need for a great stay. The only small thing that I would recommend would be a salad spinner, and plastic wine glasses for the pool area. The Montebello complex. is gated, very secure, and extremely well maintained Our manager Francisco and the team responded to all our requests and minor issues that popped up, and even saved us on Super Bowl day with the television so we could watch the game. Bravo Francisco!!! Thanks again for all your help making this a great holiday. You will see us agin, Cheers

OVER THE TOP

If you are coming to Playa Hermosa for a week or longer this is the most unbelievable rental. It all starts with the drive up to the house on a beautiful Bougainvillea lined driveway and a gorgeous array of meticulously groomed gardens with every tropical plant you can think of. As you walk thru the front door you are greeted with a multitude of amenities in this absolutely immaculate home. The kitchen,living room, laundry room, bedrooms, beds and bedding are better than any five star hotel. All you need is food and drink but there is no need to go out for breakfast, the local team will come over and prepare for you a delicious homemade meal to enjoy on the patio. We did visit many of the AMAZING near by restaurants for dinner Roberto’s Beachfront Seafood, Hotel, El Valero, Hacienda Blu, or Foodnacation they are all excellent. The view of the ocean and sunsets from the patio are like a post card. If you don’t mind visitors, we frequently had monkeys almost close enough to touch in the trees right by the patio. We wish we could stay forever. THIS PLACE IS OVER THE TOP!!

Absolutely Stunning, First Class Experience!

Kalm Palms holds a special place in my heart! The property is absolutely stunning! From morning coffee and breakfast on the patio with beautiful palm trees swaying in the breeze, to the most stunning sunsets I have ever dreamed of seeing in my life, it is magic. Francisco, our personal concierges was absolutely incredible, his recommendations were spot on, he was very communicative prior to our trip, day of arrival and departure and all the times in between. Imagine arriving to your destination after a long day of travel with a refrigerator full of delicious beverages and a snack waiting for you. The car rental was waiting for us at the property- so easy. The location is fantastic- close to Liberia airport and so many things to do around the area. Penca Beach was gorgeous! Rio Perdido had us tubing down a gorgeous river, relaxing in thermal springs with mud baths and enjoying three pools including a pina colada at the pool bar. It was the perfect mix of tranquil and adventurous. Coco is the closest town - only 10 -15 minutes drive from the Villa and had a fun selection of cute bars and great shopping. Our wonderful housekeepers kept the Villa looking gorgeous and made delicious breakfasts and daily snacks for us. It was more than a vacation, it was an experience. Kalm Palms is a dream come true in every way. We will absolutely be back!

Truly 5 Star service

Our family of five had the most spectacular vacation experience! I have been a frequent user of VRBO over many years. This house and the amazing service tops it all!! Pricing of everything offered was extremely reasonable. Our concierge, Francisco, was incredible!!! He was also totally fluent in the English language. He offered amazing suggestions for daily activities, restaurants and much more! He prepared our itinerary for the week with details for each day. There was never any sense of feeling directed or pushed. He offered ideas with approximate costs and let us select. He reserved our rental car, transport to and from airport, the excursions we selected and made reservations for dinner each evening we requested. He provided thorough information down to the last detail of exactly what to enter into Waze for us to find each destination and estimated travel time. He followed up frequently during our stay to accommodate any additional questions or needs. The management company also offered breakfast (we selected local cuisine meals) made at the house each morning along with maid service. This service was so reasonably priced that I am beyond pleased with selecting the service. The house, the service and total experience far exceeded my expectations!

WOW just WOW! The home is beautiful, clean with a very welcoming feel. We loved staying home after our tours enjoying the beautiful sunsets, pool and just relaxing. I truly enjoyed working with Adriana to plan our itinerary. Everything worked perfectly. It was great getting a sampling of all that Costa Rica has to offer. From chefs dinners that were amazing, tasty breakfasts on the patio daily. We truly enjoyed our tours with CoCo Tours and Jose. Jose is so polite, knowledgeable, happy and ensures the customer has an amazing experience. The tours with him included lunch that were amazing with a Costa Rican flair. We enjoyed the UTVs “buggy tours” with Tico Tours, David and Hansel. Our massages were incredible, I would come back every three months. Everything was perfect, Francisco welcomed us and introduced us to the beautiful property, checking in with me daily. It such a great feeling when your in an international country to know that their are people there to help guide you. We had such an amazing vacation/holiday- I recommend this property and team to anyone that is looking to go to Costa Rica. What an awesome experience. Thank you Francisco, Adriana and team for guiding us and ensuring every detail was just perfect. We will be back. BOOK THIS HOUSE... and everything with it! AMAZING!

My family was anxious to spend time in the Guanacaste area and chose to stay at Kalm Palms near Hermosa beach. What an experience!!! The home is spectacular. The setting was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful landscaping and those awesome views of the Ocean and rock formations - from the extensive terrace and the facing - great room, kitchen, and all 3 bedrooms. The accommodations were beyond what even the pictures portray. Everything is modern, and new. Even the artwork was extravagant. We so enjoyed the kitchen – found everything that we needed - and the outside grilling was a delight while watching the ocean, the sunset, and the family splashing in the pool. The spaciousness of the home gave every family member privacy with private beds and baths, and yet the great room and dining accommodations brought us all together. And I must elaborate on the concierge services. We were picked up at the airport and escorted to and given a complete introduction of the home. All the lights – including the party lights were on. It looked fabulous. Our car was delivered the next morning. We enjoyed a Chef for two breakfasts on the terrace. What an array of food – including Costa Rica fresh fruit. They helped us determine what excursions we wanted to go on, and then arranged everything. We had too much fun. And the beach. Walking distance or a quick car ride with all the toys. The water is warm. The walks were breathtaking. And the restaurants – on the beach, watching the waves break – were fantastic. Nothing like an evening cocktail while watching the sunset over the ocean. And the community offered what I would rate as 5-star restaurants, a convenient local grocery store, and even nail and hair salon. We will most definitely return to Kalm Palms, as soon as we can, and will highly recommend it to all our friends and family. Pura Vida
