Fabulous home in an excellent location! If you are looking for a home for a large group with direct beach access, this is your pick. Steps away from the beach where you can swim and watch fabulous sunsets. The pool and backyard are ideal for outdoor activities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, along with a 10 min drive to Playa Flamingo for more dining, shopping, and boat tours. Beautiful kitchen to cook meals in and lots of living areas to hang in. The housekeeper Estefani was great and we appreciated the daily housekeeping.

Wonderful house, wonderful everything! The only thing I think they could benefit from is a beach umbrella or pop up! 5 stars from our group of 10!!

We stayed here for my 50th bday and I cannot say enough good things about it. Our home keeper Erika went above & beyond to ensure our stay was lovely- she even gave me a beautiful handmade shell box with earrings I loved and a handwritten card. The home was gorgeous & swimming in the Potrero bay with bioluminescence was outstanding. Walking distance to all the great spots in Potrero. We lived Hemmingways up the beach & their daily yoga & craft fair on Sunday was a hit for us!

This home was laid out perfectly for our family of 10 with all adult children. Fully stocked home with everything you need. Absolutely loved having the house cleaner to tidy up everyday. Great location and beach front property was amazing. Multiple King beds and the views from the rooms were spectacular. Every room has its own bathroom which was extremely convenient and comfortable for our large family. Would love to visit again

Beautiful luxury beach house

This house is very high quality and has a wonderful pool right on the beach. The town is small and quiet, yet still has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and a grocery store. Our family loved staying here. The concierge team is knowledgeable and very responsive! The daily housekeeping was a wonderful touch!

Perfect beachfront stay

This house is perfect for a family who is wanting to spend time at the beach! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. The beach is so close and the waves were very fun to play in. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the beach and house. Town is very close and is fun for a family. Julieth, the concierge, was very prompt in her responses, easy to communicate with, and was helpful. We highly recommend this place!

Amazing, wish I was still there.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The managers help with anything we needed and were just really good people. The location and sunsets are perfect. The house was very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. Portrero is great with good restaurants, grocery and even a brewery. We got everywhere we needed on golf carts and when we needed to go farther the managers setup transportation immediately. Everything was just perfect and I look forward to going back.

House was super clean , loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom. House manager Julieth was a dream to work with. The owner checked on us mid week . Ocean was just past the yard, beautiful beach. Plenty of markets and restaurants. I would recommend a car rental vs a golf cart. Every person in Costa Rica was so nice . It was a great family trip .

A Celebration was had!!

First off the house was beautiful and open. Every room had a balcony with ffour out of duve facing the ocean. Beautiful sunsets. One room waa missing a TV but not a big deal. Guanacaste Escape concierge service was awesome and helpful at every turn. 10/10.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. Beautiful beachfront home. Carlos our concierge helped us with all of our needs from airport transportation, dinner reservations, tours, and golfing. We rented all 6-bedroom suites (12 people), and each suite had its own bathroom & air conditioning units. Daily housekeeping services including laundry. Close to several restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. 2 smaller grocery stores nearby. We stopped at PriceSmart for the majority of our groceries next to the airport. 1.5 - 2 miles from Flamingo beach. The owner and our concierge were all very responsive to our needs and personalized our vacation.

Wonderful experience

We had an amazing time staying at this home in Potrero. The house is exactly as it looks in the pictures and the location is perfect. Ericka came each day to clean the house, which was a huge help, and she was lovely and kind.The beach outside the house is lovely, quiet and peaceful and the town is the perfect size - not too big or too small. There are grocery stores, restaurants and even bakeries and an incredible fresh sausage shop (the lamb merguez is outstanding). Potrero is very close to Playa Flamingo where you can take snorkel or other water tours and a short drive to the Tamarindo Wildlife Estuary where we went on an amazing tour. The views from the balconies are spectacular but you should know you can't see the water from the first floor of the house, though you just need to go out the gate and you are on the beach. You can even walk outside and visit one of the restaurants on the beach - a beautiful way to get there. We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again.

Beach front sunsets were amazing

The property was just what we were looking for. It was on the beach and large for all our kids and grandkids! We did have some issues (critters in the ceiling, upstairs fan didn’t work and the air conditioners in some of the bedrooms didn't perform well, lights flickered and unfortunately the Ceptic tank was full and the add on appt smelled like poop about 1/2 the stay.) but Carlos tried hard to remedy all these things and the response from him was amazing. The area has dirty electricity so we did have powers glitches everyday but didn’t cause to many problems. We understand when you have a house that close to salt water things wear down which is why we still gave a good review. Ericka the house cleaner was there everyday and she was wonderful! Carlos booked some amazing excursions and the jet skis were brought right up to the beach by the house. Renting golf carts are a must! We went everywhere on our golf carts.

Potrero Family Trip

Clean house, right on the beach. Kitchen was nice, we did the chef service for a night which was great for our group of 12. Gerardo was the chef and the food was great. The beach is black sand and right there but there are better beaches around for swimming, beach time, shade, etc (Playa Flamingo, Las Catalina’s and Playa Conchal). The pool at the house is nice to have for a quick dip but pretty small for all day use. Overall, clean accommodations that worked well for our group of 12 including use of the Casita. We do wish the house had some activities as there were no games, playing cards, pool floats, beach items, boogie boards etc. I would expect a house at this price to come equipped with activities, games, puzzles etc. The biggest thing we realized about the area and CR in general was the prices/cost. In all reality, prices for food, alcohol, restaurants were less expensive back in the states and on par with Hawaii. Unfortunately, COVID and inflation have really hit CR hard. I would advise planning ahead and making a Costco/Walmart run for larger groups on the way to the house. There is ample refrigerator space for storage, 2 sets of washer/dryer etc. Also, Tomas the property manager was quite responsive and did a great job.

The house is new and very nice. Unfortunately, it is posted as a six bedroom property and after comparing multiple properties, we chose this because of the six bedrooms. When we adrives we awere surprised to find that it is 5 bedrooms with ann option for the 6th bedroom. It needs to be advertised more clearly on the first page of the property. You shouldn’t have to move to different pages and click several clicks and read down four or five paragraphs to realize that it’s really not six bedrooms, that it’s five bedrooms but can add a six bedroom optionally. Also, there is a dangerous third floor balcony that doesn’t have a lock on the door from the inside so that children could walk out and fall because there’s no railing. And they offer kayaks but no lifejackets.The property manager was excellent! Several things had to be fixed that weren’t working correctly during our stay, but they were there within minutes

Exactly what we needed…Chill 40th!

This property was AMAZING! It was a group of 5 couples who all fell in love with the look of the property. We were greeted by Kevin who was extremely helpful and responsive before and during the trip. We had 3 golf carts that really came in handy. The stairs were a good workout, the kitchen was well stocked…so much good to say about this property and the cute lil town. I will be back!!!

Incredible all around!

Playa Potrero is an amazing Costa Rican destination. Such a cool little town with a great beach and close proximity to other beach towns. Casa Isabella far exceeded expectations (which were high based on the pictures & description). Awesome amenities (super comfortable beds, wonderfully stocked), super spacious and located just perfectly (in front of beach and short walk to town).

Perfect location

Casa Isabella was a perfect location for our vacation to Costa Rica: right on the beach for many walks and beautiful sunsets, walking distance to bars and delicious restaurants, and a short drive to Tamarindo for awesome surfing. The house itself also was perfectly planned-- all bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and ocean view balconies for 4 of the 5 bedrooms. Kevin arranged several activities for us including a fabulous meal by Chef Roy, massages, tours and our rental cars. Kevin was very helpful and responsive.

Amazing Stay in Potrero

My group of friends had an amazing stay at this new property in Potrero. It is right on the beach and is brand new with amazing amenities. The location is extremely quiet and walkable to all the restaurants and bars. The house itself was top notch, there was a daily cleaner, and the property manager was super resourceful. Would highly recommend!
