Please note: An exterior restoration project is underway at Shores of Panama through March 2026. Balcony repairs are taking place in phases, and some balconies may be closed during construction. Guests may notice intermittent noise or activity on-site.

Shores of Panama 1611 is the vacation destination you’ve been hoping to find in Panama City Beach, Florida. This condo offers a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico’s emerald waters. The resort features a meandering tropical pool with 13,966 square feet of watery fun. Ride the elevator down from Shores of Panama 1611 and walk right out through the lush grounds and onto the powder-white sands through the resort’s private beach access. After a day of golf at Signal Hill Golf Course or fishing on one of the many fishing charters from Capt. Anderson’s marina, it feels so good to soak in the soothing waters of the resort hot tub.

A wall of sliding glass doors leads out to your balcony that overlooks the Gulf. There’s nothing like watching the sunset over the water from your high perch in the living room or the balcony. The living room sofa transitions into a sleeper bed for two, and there’s a huge flat-screen TV where you and your friends can watch a movie.

At Shores of Panama 1611 you could dine out every night in Panama City Beach, but if you feel like dining in, there is a fully equipped kitchen just waiting for favorite recipes to be whipped up. Enlist some friends to help with meal prep from the handy breakfast bar.

When you’re ready to dry your swimsuit for the day, look no further than the second bathroom where you’ll find a stacked washer and dryer. The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed along with a TV and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is outfitted with a set of comfortable bunk beds suitable for kids or adults. Good vacation

Unit was ok. Tv in bedroom didn’t work but they brought a new one the next day. Maintenance has to fix the towel rack that kept falling down in the bathroom. The tub in the master doesn’t drain. We fixed breakfast one morning but didn’t have any large skillets so had to use two small ones for bacon. If renting just make sure you bring anything you may need if cooking. Finally got the ice machine to work on our 4th night. Overall happy with unit. Parking spot was great on second floor so you don’t have to fight the other drivers in the crazy parking lot. Elevators are super slow so try to time when you leave or you will be waiting a long time. I feel for the money we pay the owners may need to invest a little into the unit to make it better for guest. Just needs to some updates and a good deep clean.

Fantastic view

This condo was better than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed our stay, no issues with this unit or the management. Elevators busy and noise level while on the balcony only negatives. The view at night with the full moon was great!

Great View Beautiful Pool

It was GREAT overall!! There were a few minimal issues. Biggest issue is you have to pay an ADDITIONAL $85 at check-in for parking and wrist bands. Southern said they didn't know cost due to 3rd party. I think this should be disclosed up front, no condo if no 3rd party payment. TV's had to be literally reset in order to get them to work. I had to complete a channel pull and would assume most people don't know how to do that. Only one remote worked, not due to batteries. The master bed was hard and cheap so sleeping wasn't great at all, although we did appreciate it to be a king size. There were just 3 of us so we had plenty of room. The elevators and parking was not great, the space would barely fit our truck- glad my husband has skills. Why you would have such limited elevators for such a big facility? Engineering had a planning problem obviously, but that I don't see can be fixed. Just know you will have to have patience. We went during spring break, which I wouldn't advise families with children during that time- But I expected it, as we took our 18 yr old son there so he could experience the spring break atmosphere, his first beach spring break - He loved it! We won't do that again, he will go on his own next time. It was nice that there is a drink bar and food bar at the pool and play toys and some chairs to sit by the water were provided which very was nice. I would definitely go here again, just not on Spring Break :).
