This cottage is right in the heart of downtown. There is a fabulous yarn/fabric shop right next door. The street is lined with shops, pubs and cafes.This hostess goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. I will be back.

Excellent accommodations and great area to visit.

Very pleasant place to stay. Local restaurants were also exceptionally good. Very scenic town. Newaygo State Park and Manistee National Forest were a lot of fun to explore.

Great stay!

Would highly recommend to any one. The house is clean and very well decorated. And was very dog friendly.

Great location

Cottage was clean and well stocked. Location is super easy to get to everything and although right in town relaxing as the quaint town is quit in the evening. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating with great communication. Enjoyed the stay.

Charming Retreat

Very clean, cozy, comfy gem. Great location and the unknown bonus for me was the quilt shop right next store! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful!!

We stayed for the night of our wedding and it was perfect. Romantic, comfortable and private. So many cute details, I could tell there was a lot of thought put in by the host. Definitely recommend!

Amazing property

This was an amazing place to stay. It was inviting from the moment I walked in. The aroma, the cleanliness, the decor even the little touches were perfect. The Retreat was so cozy and relaxing. It was very private even for being right in the middle of town and close to everything. Jamie is an amazing hostess with great communication to her guests. She has little touches and extras through out her rental. I stayed 5 days and even worked from there. No issues at all, it has strong wifi. I definitely recommend this place and hope to be a returning guest!

Misleading advertisement.

There was no kitchette, no one informed us how to use the goofy remote for the climate control. It is not good to be uncomfortably hot or cold. That so called house, has the smallest refrigerator I have ever seen.

I’m sorry you were not satisfied with the retreat. All of our instructions details, pictures, etc. are posted on this site. It’s unfortunate you did not read what the retreat had to offer. Details specifically state no one (in-keeper) on site. And ther Iis a kitchenette with a refrigerator. Sorry it wasn’t big enough for your liking. And I personally came out and helped you with a remote because you cannot figure it out and all it was, was pointing the remote directly at the air conditioner. I’m sad you gave 2 stars my place is great and has a lot to offer. It just wasn’t for you doesn’t mean it deserves 2 stars. I wish you well with your future adventures.
