We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this year at Dolphin Run. Contacting the host and the check in process was a breeze. They had beach chairs for our use which was great. Would highly recommend!

The condo was very clean and had great views of the beach. The location was great because the beach wasn't as crowded as the areas with hotels.

The property was clean and the host was great. It was further down the boardwalk than I imagined but that was on me and I didn’t mind. It’s great for watching the boats come in and out of the harbor, surfing and parasailing. The little feedback I had is that the surrounding property is a bit dated. The air conditioner in the master bedroom was so loud that it kept waking my husband and I up every time it kicked on .

We really enjoyed staying. The property was what was listed. Only thing we really to bring was our clothes and personal hygiene items. It was nice we had a washer and dryer in the unit. We had an infant so we used that frequently. The only thing was parking garage was pretty low so a good thing we had a car.

Thank you Nik for sharing your condo with us for our vacation! We had a wonderful time, the location was fantastic, and the view was spectacular, especially with the fireworks over the ocean that we watched from the balcony! Your communication was incredibly prompt and we appreciate you answering any questions we had. We would highly recommend your condo to anyone interested in a stay in VA Beach!

Condo was perfect! Great layout and access to the beach. Having beach supplies there was super helpful! Location was amazing and we could walk to lots of restaurants and shopping. The only thing that we were not expecting is the height of the parking garage. Our Pilot with our Thule on top was not able to fit. We had to take the Thule off and store it with the bikes.

VA Beach getaway

We had a great stay at this condo! The location was perfect for us. It’s quiet, not crowded and easy to walk to restaurants, stores and the marina where fishing charters are located. The view is unbelievable! We loved watching the sun rise every morning and could see dolphins playing in the water every day. Condo was very clean and equipped with 4 beach chairs, an umbrella and a small cooler. It provided everything we needed for our stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and left us a blender when we asked if one was available. We have family in VA Beach and would stay here again on our next visit.

Beach front condo. Expected wear. In room AC units were noisy. Towel bar broken in bathroom. Dishwasher beeping with error codes. Parking only for one vehicle. 3 separate codes to from parking deck to condo. Parking exposed on top deck. I had a taller vehicle that barely made it through. Good location on southern end.

First of all, the best part of this stay — the host. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND, and I cannot say enough good about that. He also has excellent communication and is very responsive and helpful. Now for the condo — the pros are that it was exceptionally clean, has AMAZING beach views (including excellent view from BOTH bedrooms!), and phenomenal air conditioning!! There are beach chairs there that you can use, and they’re very good quality. Ice maker works and produces a lot. The elevators are fast, and we never had to wait on them very long, even though we were on the 13th floor. The cons — only one free parking space, which is a big deal because the place sleeps 6 so it’s highly likely there’ll be more than 1 vehicle. My daughter had to pay an utterly outrageous price to park her car elsewhere. Super disappointing. Although there was plenty of bed space for 6, that was not the case for living room seating. Also very disappointing that there was not enough seating for all 6. Some had to sit in the hard dining chairs to watch tv. Only 4 chairs at the dining table but there were 2 bar seats to make 6 total seats. Really would’ve liked it best to all sit at the table together but, the pictures are accurate, so a lot of this is on me for not noticing. The kitchen is very small so I don’t recommend planning on cooking together or anything like that as it’s difficult to comfortably move around if there’s more than 1 person in there at a time. All in all, a wonderful time. Thank you!!

Don't forget the parking pass

My husband and I traveled with our parents. The living area and kitchen are small, but the bedrooms make up for it. My parents had the main bedroom, which had a bathroom in it. Our bedroom had the bathroom immediately outside the door. Both bedrooms had windows overlooking the beach. Very nice! This property is in an older, well-kept building in an area that felt safe. Since we had two vehicles, parking was a little tricky. There is only one parking pass for the unit. There is additional parking about a block or so away. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions. Plenty of linens for the bath but no washcloths, so bring those if you use them. The parking pass is not large, thus we started on our way home before noticing it. Fortunately, it wasn't far and we could swing back to drop it off. So make a note, and don't forget the parking pass. ;-) We would definitely rent again if we are in the area.

Property great, communication not

This condo is as nice as the pictures. It was clean. However, there were quite a few hiccups that could have been avoided if the owner was more communicative. We were traveling from out of state and had to ask several time for checkin info. He told us to check with security for the parking pass. We were told that he was not part of the managed condo association, and therefore the parking pass would be supplied by him. It was not in the condo and required more text back-and-forth until him finally had security create the parking pass. Also, the beach was blocked off for a huge music festival, which would’ve been nice to know in advance. it was the only VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. That had no welcome packet or instructions in the condo. Final note: as other reviewers have mentioned, he does not provide washcloths, limited towels, but did have more towels delivered after we requested.

Thanks for your feedback. I maintained a prompt communication with all questions and requests you had. We do not control the events on the beach nor we control the front desk. I was very responsive to all your requests. You are the only 3 start review we have ever received. We scheduled prom delivery of all items additional that you requested. Please check the events calendar next time you book on any platform because we don’t mark them on our calendars.
