La Maisonette is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home located in North East Columbia near Sandhill with quick easy access to I-77 and I-20. Shopping and eateries along with FortJackson , downtown, and Shaw are easily accessible. This house is Perfect for anyone visiting Columbia for a game, graduation, or work. As a former military family, we understand
the struggle of waiting for housing; please contact us if you are a military family waiting of housing.


This is a quaint 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath home.
The downstairs is an open concept dining and family room with an island separating the kitchen, which makes it perfect to enjoy time with family and friends. There is also a guest bathroom on this floor.

The kitchen has all the supplies needed, including instant pot and slow cooker, for making delicious homemade meals. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and plenty of shopping within a mile of this home.

All 3 bedrooms are located on the second floor. There's a shared spacious bathroom by the two queen guest bedrooms, a private laundry room with Samsung washer and dryer, and a big private bathroom and a walk in closet in the master bedroom.

MAIN FEATURES:

2 smart Roku enabled TVs with Netflix, Disney plus, and Hulu (1 in the upstairs living room and 1 in the family room). There is also a smart TV in the master bedroom. Enjoy free WIFI.

OUTSIDE:
The front and back yard is great for children to play or just hangout.


No party on the property, but small family gatherings are fine upon request.
The number of guests should be the same as what is on your reservation. There is a fee for each additional guest

Great Property

We had a great experience at this property. We came for graduation on Ft. Jackson and the property was so close to the base and easy to navigate to the base. If you have a solider at Ft. Jackson South Carolina highly recommend this property.

Recommend staying at La Maisonnette in Columbia near Ft Jackson

Nice place, however, had trouble locating on GPS. Owner listed street as Court, but is actually on ___ Road. Also, on several occasions, including when we were leaving the electronic lock didn't work. The carpets could use replacing and the shower head in the main bath was awkward. Other than this, the place was clean, spacious, well appointed (get rid of huge flower display on table), excellent location, and great value. Thank you for letting us stay at your place!

Lovely stay overall

We rented this property for our son's basic training graduation at Ft. Jackson. The property is close and it was easy to get to the base. The neighborhood is nice. The house was clean and we had good communication with the owner. The electronic lock wasn't working properly, but the owner had messaged up before we arrived with alternate check in directions. The house was clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. The bathrooms were our main issue. There wasn't hot water, just warm to cold. The towels in the main bath left fuzzy's all over you. The main bath tub made noises like it was going to break, but it didn't. There was also not any cold water for washing fruits and veggies in the kitchen. I had to make an ice bath to keep them cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend it if the water temp issue was corrected.

Do Not Rent waiting and fighting for REFUND

Where should I begin? The overgrown backyard, the huge puddle of water on the floor, the powerless front door lock, the evidence that mold had been under the kitchen sink (also near puddle), the owner and VRBO customer support not being responsive or the ROACH that crawled across the kitchen counter. Arriving at the location at 3pm which was checkin time after driving all night all I wanted to do was to take a shower and catch a nap. I immediately noticed grass as tall as my grandchildren's torso's but decided that I would not make it an issue. The keypad was without power and it took about an hour before we were able to enter. Upon entry there was a rut and a hole in the kitchen floor that looked like it came from water damage. I continued on and walked upstairs and everything looked neat and orderly there. On my way back out to the car I noticed a huge peddle of water on the floor behind the kitchen island. I looked under the sink to see if there was a leak or water. I did not find any but i could see where mold had been cleaned up from this area in the past. As a family of asthmatics with sever allergies esp mold staying was not an option. After contacting VRBO CS I was told to go back or I was canceling without the possibility of a refund. I kept being told that they could fix everythin that evening. It was discovered that a power outage three days prior had left the puddle on the floor, the fridge was off for days and i'm sure mold present. I rented a hotel.
