Beachfront. Sit on the deck and watch your kids play on the beach. See the dolphins swim while the Bald Eagles fish. Walk down the beach to the left there are no houses for two miles. If you want to get away from the crowds and the traffic, this is your dream come true. This is a second home for my wife Allison and me and we know you will love it. The Port St Joe/Mexico beach area is family friendly. It's called the Forgotten Coast. We know you will feel right at home.

We came to this beauty after Christmas and stayed through New Years, and our family loved it all! Great location, quiet and peaceful, and a beautiful view of the beach. The home was lovely and had every need imaginable - very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, entertainment options for all in each room (TVs and JBL speakers!) We highly recommend this fantastic spot on the Forgotten Coast of the Florida panhandle. Enjoy!

Well appointed house in an amazing location. It has everything you need, down to beach gear. Quiet stretch of beach with almost no neighbors. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely rebook.

Location: The house's location was great. There is literally no one to the left of you. You are next to a public access right-of-way, but it is not bad. Be prepared not to have any waves, but also to have the calmest lake or ocean you could imagine. We never had to worry about the kiddos in the water. Also, multiple times throughout the day, we would see dolphins.Amenities: The trailer filled with beach goodies is genius. There are tons of chairs, floats, etc. We left a few extra items when we left.The house had everything we needed, and the two living room areas, one for kids and one for adults, were excellent. Each room had everything that you needed.Helpful hints: go to Mexico Beach to the local shrimp place and have them steam your fresh shrimp.We would stay here again! Great place and highly recommend.

Great location- each night we sat on the back deck and watched the sunset. Low key and very relaxing. Perfect if you have pet. Once you walk to the beach and turn left there are no homes for a couple of miles and your puppy can run free and play in the waves.

It was perfect for sitting and relaxing on the beach. Great place to snorkel and see the underwater wildlife. Best view sitting on the deck and watch as dolphins swim by.

This was our second time to stay at this beach house and we really enjoy our time at the house. The private walk way from the house to the beach is always helpful as you can leave some of your gear on the trail during the week not always having to haul everything back to the house. It’s not crowded with other beach goers or neighbors so you have a lot of room down on the beach. We love having the trailer they provide with additional beach chairs and accessories to minimize some of what we pack. Overall it’s been a great experience both times we’ve stayed. The owner is very responsive and easy to contact with any questions.

Great location. Quiet beach. Most days we had it all to ourselves. House was lovely and perfect for our family. Sunsets were outstanding. Plenty of room to spread out. Elevator was so helpful!

Even more beautiful in person!

My husband and I along w our puppy stayed at the Allen's home for our anniversary. Gracious hosts. It is so beautiful, spacious and you immediately feel at home. The views are spectacular. Beach was not crowded. Beautiful neighborhood on the street side where you can walk your fur baby. Very private feel. Restaurants and shops not far away. Will absolutely stay here again in the future God willing!

A magical experience on the forgotten coast

The property is even more incredible than the pictures and descriptions provide. We were able to relax on a very peaceful, quiet, almost deserted beachfront property. Our host were very accommodating and gave us great advice. We would certainly stay here again.

Exceptional Property and Location

Just a wonderful, relaxing week. The location of the property was spectacular. No nearby homes, right on the beach, abundant wildlife, a paved 3.5 mile walking path adjacent to the beach, a short drive to the state park on Cape San Blas, great casual restaurants nearby. The property itself had all of the conveniences and amenities, and then some, that you'd expect from a high end property. Covered parking and the elevator made it especially easy to accommodate everyone. Greg was always available for any questions via text or a phone call. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful View

The house was very nice and having an elevator helped with the process of moving in and moving out. The beach access was amazing and the dunes were picturesque. It is a must to spend a day exploring Appalachacola.

Perfect getaway

This house was amazing! Loved the location and the house is very nicely furnished and homey. The back deck was where my family stayed the majority of the time. The sunsets are gorgeous! We will return.

My name is Greg and this property is a second home for my wife Allison and me. We live near Perry, GA full time and have kids in school so we don't make it too Florida often as we would like. Allison and I love the beach and we love just setting on the deck and watching the beach and the water. We almost always see dolphins and eagles. There are always fish jumping. We have even seen manatee's a few times. Such a fun relaxing place to visit.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

They call our area The Forgotten Coast. If you want something beautiful without the crowds, then this is your place. Just a short stroll down to the beach. Our house is nice for families because it has the living room on the 1st floor where you can gather, but it also has a big room on the 2nd floor where you can hangout, play games, and watch TV. We always see dolphins and in the early morning we often see a Bald Eagle or two. I included a picture of two Bald Eagles on the beach that I took from our deck. Very relaxing. Right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets. An amazing home. You'll love it! I promise.
