Looking for a peaceful oceanfront getaway this fall or winter? If you’re planning to stay between October 15 and March 15 and don’t require the full house, ask us how you can qualify for a cleaning and linen refund—a great opportunity for guests using only 1–2 bedrooms.

Pass the Salt is a direct oceanfront, end-unit townhouse/duplex in the Villas by the Sea community of North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. This beautiful property offers stunning sunrise views and is just steps from the Seaview Pier.

Please Note:
This home is a townhouse/duplex, not a standalone property.
The community pool is heated and available to all Villas by the Sea homeowners and guests. It is heated and is open April 1 – October 31.

Something for everyone!

Great place for extended family, all the way from three-year old to grandparents! close to the beach. relaxing to sit on the porches and watch the ocean. quick response by management staff when an AC unit didn't work properly. enjoyed the hot tub even on hot days. the community pool was a very nice alternative when the beach was windy.

Fantastic Get Away

Nine good friends from book club all wanted a weekend away at the beach. This place was perfect for beach walking, playing games, eating delicious meals, laughing, reading

The most beautiful home and view !

This house was absolutely perfect for our big family and feels like home. The sand is at your toes . And the pool and hot tub really added to the fun . The house is so spacious and beautiful ! Houses like this is where you make forever memories with your loved ones ! We have a toddler and they provided everything we needed . It was greatly appreciated . As well with easy to talk to and communicate with. We decided to extend our stay and was changed within minutes . Thank you Betsy for a beautiful place to take my family .

Pass the Salt

This property was clean, had more then enough starter supplies (garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwasher pods,ect) beds are firm and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Only steps to the beach! A fabulous place to stay!

Very Nice!

Very clean, comfortable and enjoyable cottage! Very close to the beach! The elevator was a real blessing. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very nice to have the beds made up when we arrived! When a few small things broke down, Betsy was very quick to get them fixed! Would highly recommend!

Topsail beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Having the elevator was especially great. There was a Keurig maker listed on the website. We bought a box of the inserts. The machine didn't work, they came and took it, but we never got another one. The hot tub was cleaned/serviced twice while we were there which would have been great but after the first service it never worked again. When they came for the second service they said they would get it fixed Saturday morning, our checkout time. When we arrived the back door was unlocked. We never could get it to lock and I reported it when we left.

Beach trip to topsail

Topsail is a beautiful beach. A bit isolated, you have to drive back over the bridge for grocery & drug stores, gas stations, and most restaurants....that being said, there are 2 restaurants walking distance from the townhome. I hosted a gathering over 10 days in this listing - overall it was an okay place to stay, but for the price i had higher expectation than what was presented. There were no beach supplies. No beach chairs, towels, umbrellas or toys. Be prepared to bring or buy your own, as we had to. Also be aware the townhome is located at the end of the community - the road's end is very uneven with a raised manhole, every guest had difficulty navigating over. The townhome is a duplex build with a shared door inside the house and shared patio facing the beach - which can provide some interesting situations. There is a large cabinet blocking the shared door inside, but the sound comes through audibly. There were minimal bath towels per room, so laundry was required daily. We also felt there was a lack of cups, but most other kitchen supply was adequate. The other main issue was trash - which was full upon arrival - there were many many fruit flies, we had to contend with, as the receptacle storage is below the home. The owner was responsive when i noticed the main floor toilet was not working, resolution was reached the following day. The orientation of the home provides sunrise view, not sunset. The hot tub was excellent
