A very cute, cozy place to stay if you’re going to see the redwoods! Super easy to get and close to a Walmart which is nice, if you’re like me I always manage to forget something going on a trip. We had one minor issue with the TV and they answered in just a view minutes, highly recommend!

Perfect location for exploring the Redwoods

Stayed two nights while exploring the Redwoods. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed, fantastic shower. Loved coffee on the patio in the morning. My son lived chillin' in the hammock. Was perfect for the three of us.

Great little spot with easy access to the Redwoods

House was small but well appointed, stocked with everything we could ever need. Never had any issues with residents in the neighborhood. Place can be a little musty, but it's an older home in a wetter environment, not sure how much the owners can do about that, to be honest. Didn't find it to be an issue with our stay. Would stay again if in the area.

House was represented well and stocked perfect for couples stay. Location was questionable at the end of a street with numerous people walking by into the woods. Pretty sure a drug exchange happened at the end of the driveway on our 2nd night.

Trip across the US

The best comfort and beauty in an area close to everything. Didn’t have to supply anything except food we wanted. Just perfect. Chairs to take, beach towels,coffee, tea, paper towels, soap shampoo, decorated perfectly. Would recommend and come back someday. Loved the comfort and view outside.

Clean little cottage

This property had many more little extras then advertised. Very thoughful and appreciated. Exterior lighting was great for those late night arrivals. Location was perfect for getting on and off 101. Owners were quick to response. Would totally return again.

Beautiful, clean, attention to detail

We immediately fell in love with the cottage. The owners and property managers have made a tremendous effort to provide all the comforts of home with so much attention to detail! Everything was done very meticulously with a lot of thought going into the experience. There were even sharp knives which is a challenge at many bnbs. The home is well maintained and and very clean. Highly recommend this property.

This is a nice property with great amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen, a grill, and even a washer/dryer with detergent and dryer sheets. They have a Keurig and coffee pods. The bathroom has shampoo and conditioner. They give all the amenities of a hotel. Check out is super low key - just wash your dishes.

We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s a very cute place with everything you can think of amenity wise, I don’t think I’ve stayed at a place with as much as this one. The only two songs I’d give it is we noticed a lot of homeless people walking down the street, we never felt scared but it detracted from the rest. The other issue was the mustiness of the place. It was best to leave a window or two open with a fan on during the day. I would stay here again as it was a great overall value.

Great middle point for The Redwoods

Our stay was good and an easy location for traveling different locations without the Redwoods. Also, the light house and coast of Crescent City is fun to check out! the communication with the owners was on point and the home was clean. Our biggest dislike was the fact someone stopped at the end of the street and shooting up drugs was concerning. Across from the home are woods, with a trail. We went to check out the area and found piles of trash and needles! Would we stay again? yes, if we are using it as a stopping place for other adventures. However, it’s not walking distance to anything of interest.

This property is in a not very nice [at all] neighborhood. There are many very shady people going in and out of the woods across the street. The house is VERY musty and the pictures are nice but are basically lipstick on a pig. It is obvious that the owner does not have a very hands on relationship with his property. I do not recommend staying here.

This place has me concerned about vrbo standards on their rentals. The room smelled of cigarettes No extra blankets for the pull out bed. Tv didn’t work Really bad internet and no AT&T cell service Couldn’t find a knife (not even a butter knife) to save my life. Homeless people doing drugs outside our front door, multiple times. Windows don’t open and it was super stuffy we had to keep the doors open. Couldn’t let the kids sleep on the pull out bed alone with the drug activity happening so we had to split up adults to cover the kids. After communicating with vrbo support and then the host who emailed me back after vrbo contacted them, the owner offered us a 10% refund to compensate for all of this. That doesn’t even cover the tax and was more of an insult than anything. Disappointed and angry.

Thank you for your feedback. I take these matters seriously and inspected the property immediately after your stay. Here are my findings: Cleanliness: The property is non-smoking, and no cigarette smell was detected. Amenities: Extra blankets and all necessary kitchen utensils were present. TV and Internet: Both were in working order and WiFi speed was adequate. Safety: Your report of homeless individuals and drug activity is concerning and being investigated. Given my inspection, I suspected the guests' claims were an attempt to secure a discount and confirmed this the following day. I strive to maintain high standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

The water pitcher in the refrigerator was visibly dirty and the tap water tastes metallic, but aside from that, the place and amenities were nice. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Thank you.
