Or stay inside and enjoy a nice relaxing night by the fire as you watch a movie. Turn dinner time into a bonding time—our open-layout kitchen is stocked with essentials to whip up a fantastic meal any time of the day.

There are two units stacked on one another. They are completely separated from one another. Each has their own entrance.

My family of four had an absolutely wonderful stay in this space. I loved the mid-century vibes and the very comfortable furniture/beds. There was plenty of storage room, a wonderful covered porch overlooking the yard, and so many thoughtful details throughout. We cooked in the kitchen each day - everything was clean, easy to find, and labeled. The host communication was absolutely stellar - Eric answered all of our questions promptly, helped us sort out a wi-fi issue and checked in on us periodically. I’m only hesitant to give high praise because I want to make sure it’s available when we eventually go back. ;) We will definitely be back!

Race weekend stay

Some friends and myself stayed here for a weekend for the Cayuga 50 mile trail race. Beds were comfy, close to trails, close to DT/restaurants, and more. Very very responsive owners too for any questions.

Our stay was during the excessive heat and humidity of July and the A/c was not on when we arrived. I do wish that the heat and anticipation of our arrival was considered and someone turned the a/c on prior to our arrival. The A/c was not working well our first night and the hosts called an HVAC technician to fix it and door dashed us an extra fan to help move the air. This truly exceeded our expectations. The amount of space for the 5 of us was ample and the renovations to such an old house was nice. However, there are still obvious original areas left untouched which made us somewhat uncomfortable, as well as a lingering musty old smell original to the house. All the window treatments in the main living areas are shear and we felt very exposed at night. The sliding glass door in the living room only has one panel curtain leaving half the window wide open. This became an issue for us while watching TV at night on the couch and having the downstairs tenets come up our stairs to the glass door to plug in the fire pit lights. We were sitting 6 feet away.Lastly, there is an interior door that connects the 2 units which I assume should have been locked, but wasn’t. It was not only unlocked but open and we were able to see into the downstairs unit. Again, we felt very exposed . I get the impression of a good effort and that the owners care but FULL investment lacks and that is what makes guests feel the most comfortable.

Quaint stay near Ithaca

This is a nice little stay! Very nice space with lots of amenities and a nice porch in addition to the shared backyard space. The property managers were very helpful with a couple of minor things that came up and also left flowers for our graduating family member.

We're two childhood friends who had the crazy idea of buying a lakehouse together. I'm Eric, I am who you will primarily be communicating with. My partner Justin is also available. Together, we make up PapiBNB.

This house is years in the making. We've always dreamed about having an escape away from the East Coast pace where we could just relax and unwind, even for a long weekend. After years of planning, we were finally able to do it.

We agonized about every detail of this home to make it feel like a home away from home for us. A place we would want to personally stay. No detail too small. If you saw what this home looked like before we bought it, you wouldn't believe it. Now a days, we just hope it's a stay you will never forget.
