Detail:
Wildwood Dome is 450 sq ft and features a king size bed, living area and fully equipped kitchenette. Your private bathroom is located a short walk away and has a shower with rainfall shower head, toilet and sink/vanity. The spacious deck is outfitted with a BBQ grill, seating, firepit and a soaking tub.

Amenities: We provide tons of extras so you can pack light. All linens/towels are provided. You will also find coffee+tea, creamer, spices, oils and condiments in the kitchen. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided in the bathroom.

(An extensive list of what is provided and amenities will be sent 14 days before check in to help you pack light.)

WIFI:
We do have Wi-Fi (though no cell service) but we strongly encourage guests to disconnect during their stay at Rooted Domes. Here you will find a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just BE. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding forest and indulge your senses with an array of engaging activities to enhance your stay, including games, puzzles, coloring books, musical instruments, yoga mats, and much more!

Other Guests:
There is a second Dome on the property and the domes are orientated for the most privacy. The domes/guests share the parking area, the pathway to the site and access to the creek and forest. Please observe a quiet time (low music) between 9pm and 8am so everyone can enjoy the sounds of the forest! :)

It was just what we needed, the opportunity to leave the world behind and find peace.

We liked the whimsy of the decorations outside and inside. We enjoyed the proximity to Lake Hope Star Park and the trails with provided maps. We were grateful to have the grill with cutlery and plates provided, it made packing and food planning easier.

My daughter and I stayed here for Mom’s Weekend and had the best time. The dome is cozy, unique, and fully stocked—we only had to bring clothes and food.There are hiking trails right outside, and plenty to do nearby—we even went ziplining!Such a peaceful, fun getaway. We’ll definitely be back

A night away, full of peace, rest and surrounded by the beautiful nature.

We loved everything about our Rooted Domes stay. This was a great adventure for us, where we found ourselves at peace and rest within the forest. Our dome was so comfortable from the couch to the bed and blankets, we had everything we needed and much more. The dome was equipped with games, music, maps, cooking items and a beautiful view of the forest. The only thing we didn't have was one more night to enjoy everything! We hope to return for a longer stay in the near future!

It was cozy and relaxing to be away from modern life.

This is the second time my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Rooted Domes. First time was The Cocoon and this time was Wildwood. Both were magical. From the decoration, and the overall scenery and vibe. We were devastated when our stay was over, we could be out there for weeks. We definitely want to stay again in the future when we want to get away from everything for a little.

Magical and whimsical stay

We stayed at the Wildwood Domes, the stay was a perfect getaway for a last minute trip at a reasonable price. It had many trinkets and activities inside the dome if we were stormed in, and the aesthetic of the dome was very pleasing as well. Even though we went in the end of November we were very warm with the accommodations and supplemental heat sources provided for our stay. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay at in the area

Absolutle bliss & pure magic!

This experience was better than advertised. The geodome was thoughtfully decorated with activities to unplug and enjoy your surroundings. We loved every detail, from the bathroom aesthetic to the painted floors. Our stay was a "chef's kiss" and we will 1000% be back for a long weekend. Megan was the PERFECT host- communicative, down to earth, and accommodating. I almost don't want to share this property online because I want to keep a slice of heaven for myself-it's that good people!

Incredible property and even more incredible hosts! Silence and serene unplugging perfect for our romantic getaway to celebrate our engagement! We were really impressed with all beautiful and elegant details. Rain and shine we enjoyed this place. Recommend bringing a robe. This was a tip we got from other travelers. The property is a very secluded spot so accessing restaurants and food take some time. But there are plenty of preparing and cooking appliances on property. I hope you get to see the hummingbirds buzzing through the tree and resting on the string of lights… We spent the entire morning watching them. It was magical. So many nice touches starting with the record player, (Fleetwood Mac, it’s amazing!), the incredible smelling diffuser, the instant camera with film, and lots of games! We will be back! PS. How peaceful it was, the accommodation and all the details put into the dome made the stay amazing. It was a welcoming place and we enjoyed the outdoor tub and fire. There’s not one thing I’d complain about. One suggested I might have is putting an empty bin by the fridge for the little hand towels. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

It was a magical weekend.

It was a good distance to not have to drive too far to the trails, and it was a beautiful place to relax after a long day of hiking. The outdoor bath (with included bath bubbles) was awesome, and the dome itself was full of character. I especially love the record player and the different vinyls.

My "neighborhood" is the Forest! I share this space with deer, coyotes, bobcat, birds, frogs and so many other critters! I love being able to breath in the fresh air and watch the seasons change. The Forest provides the perfect place to slow down and look at life through kids eyes again! Search for tiny mushrooms and wildflowers, throw rocks in the creek, turn up rocks and see what lives underneath and turn the clouds into any shape or being imaginable!
