Casa Verde is a large house that sits on the Frio River. This house sleeps 22 with five bedrooms and four baths. It has amazing views of the river especially from the upstairs balcony. It is a great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning. It has been newly renovated and offers an updated kitchen and bedrooms/bathrooms. This home offers a great entertainment area outside with an outdoor kitchen/cabana and area to play volleyball and horseshoes.

You can drop off floaters up the river and they just float down to us.. Plan to keep coming as long as we can afford the trip.

Perfect Frio House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa Verde is the perfect house right on the river. The back patio and outdoor kitchen are perpetually cooled by the breeze blowing off the Frio. The huge backyard leads down to the river, which is nicely shaded with shallow parts, deeper parts, lots of fish, and a rope swing. Both downstairs bedrooms are king rooms with attached bathrooms; the upstairs back bedroom has three double beds plus a bunkbed; another upstairs room has a double and a twin; and the final upstairs room is a large master with a king, queen, and twin beds, an ensuite bathroom, and a balcony. The house is older, but Frio Family Getaway is on top of it all. During our stay, we had three minor issues (clogged sink, etc), and they had each problem fixed within the hour. I've been staying at this house since 2015, and we plan to return every year.
