Property was as pictured. Very quiet and clean. Had everything we needed for the stay. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Didnt realize how close the many wineries were so would definitely recommend giving yourself more time at the property to take advantage of that. The grounds surrounding the property were peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely go back.

Restful Getaway

Perfect spot for a long-weekend getaway. 15 minute drive to SLO and nearby beach towns, but remote enough to not feel in the city. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space and being able to cook some of our own meals was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful Getaway

We loved the location, amenities and communication with Kristen. This is a secret we want to keep to ourselves because we will definitely be back. The proximity to hiking, the beach and grocery shopping was ideal for us.

Dream house

It’s gorgeous private Casita is upper winding Road nestled in an oak and fruit tree Grove with views of the surrounding hills. Quiet, clean, with beautiful outdoor sitting areas and extremely well appointed we couldn’t have been happier! The Casita inside is larger than it looks.. We will definitely be back when we visit our son in Calpoly
 Only a 20 minute drive at most!

Three day getaway, our son goes to Cal Poly and we wanted to explore surrounding areas.

This is a lovely casita! Sparkling clean and well maintainied . I appreciated the nice quality bath products and local coffee! Very quiet, if you want a peaceful getaway surrounded by large trees and orchard. Perfect!😊

Perfect getaway

I was in the neighborhood for a local art workshop over a long weekend. This place was perfect lodgings for me, comfortable, clean, everything I could need. Thanks to the folks at Willow Pond SLO for recommending!

Beautiful, peaceful and clean

My wife and I were bringing our daughter out to start school at Cal Poly and we found this place as a wonderful option. It is a little distance from San Luis Obispo but the drives through the countryside were pleasant. We enjoyed the quiet, country feeling as a nice counterpoint to visits to the beach, towns and school. The host is pleasant and email communication with her was easy.

Quiet! And serene.

To us the best part of the casita was the setting- nestled up in a canyon surrounded by pristine California oak forest. Lots of birds and game: acorn woodpeckers, quail, rabbits, scrub jays, red tailed hawks, deer. It's so quiet there we slept really well. The casita is very well organized and comfortable with great views of the forest and the canyon.

Beautiful and clean- everything you need

We loved the casita. Interior fixtures, appliances and bedding all perfect. Quality construction and Ewell thought out for a small casita. The host was attentive and courteous when we had a question. The grounds are incredible peaceful and private but within 10 minutes of tow. We would definitely stay here again

Escape the fog

We loved your place, the location, the ambiance, the privacy. We liked that you had sunshine while all the coastal areas we were visiting were socked in with fog. Our only complaint was your lack of task lighting. But, thank you for a lovely stay.

Quiet and Charming

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the casita. The place was very clean and had everything we needed from towels/linens, to kitchen supplies. There was even extra toiletries supplied if we forgot anything - toothbrushes, razors (all wrapped), sunscreen and deodorant. There were even 2 chilled bottles of Pelligrino waters in the fridge along with 6 farm fresh eggs, which was a treat and were enjoyed. The casita is very quite and comfortable. It's in a perfect location, closet to AG, beaches and not too far from Cal Poly. The temperatures were great as well. While it was in the 90-100s inland (we visited at the end of July), where the casita is located was really comfortable. No fan was needed, as we opened up the windows and enjoyed the fresh air. I would hight recommend this place and would love to come back to stay again whenever we visit our son at Cal Poly.

Super quiet & peaceful. Casita is surrounded by trees and nature and just minutes away from downtown Areoyo Grande and many wineries. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to book again next time we return!
