Surrounded by lush evergreen trees in the front and side of property with seasonal trees and foliage in the backyard during the spring and summer months, this picturesque home is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and Twin Lakes tourism. Fish off the private dock, lounge by the lake or shove off at the nearby boat launch. Simply enjoy the overall scenery whichever time of the year you choose to visit. It will be a relaxing experience where you may enjoy the outdoors by the water, on the balcony or in the patio and garden areas.

Inside the home, you will find a cozy open layout allowing for easy flow between the living and dining/kitchen areas, which makes it perfect for spending time with loved ones.

The house features upper and lower levels with multiple rooms, ideal for families or groups of friends. It contains all your basic necessities to start you off. Overall, it is an ideal get-away location that encourages relaxation yet it is close to a variety of local shopping and attractions for when you desire to be more active.

NOTE: Daily rate is for up to (8) guests; however (12) may be accommodated comfortably. $15 per day shall apply for each additional person beyond (8). Pet fee is $35 per visit.

*PLEASE BE ADVISED: the fee for guests beyond (8) MUST BE PAID at the time of booking to avoid an additional flat charge of TBD which is assessed to cover Vrbo imposed fees (taxes, etc.). This flat charge is added ONLY if the additional guest(s) fee is not paid at the time of original booking.

Great fishing spot! Very peaceful and relaxing.. not a lot of traffic coming through on the lake. We took kayaks out and had no problem. The trees surrounding porch gave nice shade and we really enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch.

Great Home on the River

The house is very cozy and has a great old fashioned vibe but with a lot of modern amenities. The home looked as it does on the site and everyone was comfortable. Would definitely look to utilize the property again if we come back to the area!

Great family vacation

We loved the house! The location was beautiful. Plenty of room and very clean! The only bad thing was the awful stairs down to the water and falling tree limbs (someone could have been seriously injured)

Great Vacation Stay

Great house for our trip to Monticello. Near to Indiana Beach and restaurants. Nice to be on the water for the view, fishing, and boating. Pleanty of room to relax.

Great family stay

We had a great stay with 6 adults and 2 children. Plenty of places to sleep comfortably and close to Indiana Beach. Home and amenities were as described, would definitely stay again.

Great River Getaway

Great waterfront property! Layout was ideal for two families with young children. Kitchen and patio were well appointed, plus 3 mins to grocery store. Communication with the host was prompt and thorough. Recommend!

What a wonderful time we had celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Purdue, the location was perfect and it was an opportunity to tour the area while we’re there. Wonderful river house very flexible for our needs.

We used this vrbo for parents weekend at purdue. It worked out great. The house is very clean and has plenty of room for 5 of us and a small dog. the drive between the campus and the house is nice easy driving. The house is walking distance to stores, but when you're fishing on the river, you feel like you're out in the countryyour

Excellent communication from owner

The location was perfect for our events that we attended and ended up being right down the road from everything we did. The older house was very well kept up and we would have enjoyed more time there but our trip got cut short for other reasons. The communication by the owners was quick and very responsive and they were flexible with our adjusted schedule. The walk down to the dock was fun and standing there watching the river flow by was very relaxing.

Once Again, a great place to stay!

This was our second time staying here. We go to the Hops & Coaster Drops event at Indiana Beach every year. This place never disappoints. Always clean and very roomy for a decent size group, easy check in process, peaceful, fantastic location, very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the amusement park. Our stay

Very pleasant, quiet and clean. Only thing I have to say about the house is that the stairs were extremely steep to get down to the boat. My husband and I are in our 70s and there was no way we could use them.

The one negative aspect of the property is the very dangerous 50+ stairs down to the dock. They are hard to navigate empty handed, it's about impossible to carry something. The boating was a huge disappointment, the river is narrow, shallow and mostly "no wake" zones. The house was clean,comfortable, well equipped and the host was very accommodating and answered all questions quickly. I recommend it if boating isn't your vacation priority.
