Toute l'année Lake Shafer Home, 3 chambres (king, full, twin) 3 salles de bains. Maison au bord du lac à quelques pas de l'eau. Façade du lac de 120 'avec rampe de mise à l'eau. Pont avant du lac. Belle cour au lac avec foyer (bois de chauffage fourni), haut-parleurs extérieurs, table de pique-nique, chaises d'extérieur, digue en ciment / promenade latérale, jetée flottante avec échelle. Films en plein air disponibles (très cool - films en plein air à côté du foyer un soir d'été). Grande cuisine avec tous les éléments de base (lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes) plus rôtissoire à dinde de 18 pintes, grande mijoteuse, Oster Kitchen Center (mélangeur / mélangeur / râpe). Surface de cuisson Jenn Air avec option plaque chauffante / gril en fonte. Cafetières Keurig et standard. Plus une deuxième petite cuisine dans une pièce au bord du lac, très mignonne. Deux réfrigérateurs. Plusieurs tables et chaises pliantes. Cinéma maison avec projecteur monté au plafond et son surround. Créateur de pop-corn, améliorez votre expérience cinématographique avec un pop-corn au goût délicieux, comme au cinéma. Le cinéma maison dispose de trois canapés qui se déplieront avec de nombreuses options différentes. Trois téléviseurs, tous avec lecteur DVD. Deux chaînes stéréo, changeur de CD, haut-parleurs situés dans toute la maison. Internet sans fil, salle de théâtre a accès à Internet pour Netflix, You Tube etc ... Climatisation centrale qui se refroidit très bien, ventilateurs de plafond dans la plupart des pièces, chauffage disponible. Plusieurs canapés, la plupart se plient en lits, ainsi que des lits pliants, des matelas pneumatiques, d'autres options de couchage. Beaucoup de serviettes, couvertures, oreillers etc ... Barbecue à gaz avec brûleur latéral et grand assortiment d'ustensiles. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Natation, pêche, canotage. Si vous avez un bateau, j'ai une excellente configuration pour vous, lancez votre bateau ici sur la rampe de bateau en ciment, ascenseur à bateau disponible qui conviendra à la plupart des bateaux. Nombreuses places de parking.

The lake house property was fantastic. All the extras you need and want, as well as a superb host who will help with anything you need. My only issue was ants in the house, which can be an issue for the area. We couldn't leave anything out, open, or uncovered. But other than that, everything was GREAT.

We had an amazing stay! Mike our host really made sure it was a home away from home! Everything you could possibly need and then some is there! There were so many different games, movies, books and things to do that kept 8 kids entertained the whole time. We had such a great time i made sure to book for next year before we left.

We loved being right on the lake. Plenty of places to sleep with more than enough towels, sheets and pillows. Hot water heater went out while there and Mike had a new one installed in no time. Children enjoyed all the different pool tubes and floats. Thank you Mike for a nice family vacation.

Great Time!!

The house was cute and quirky and had everything we needed! It was clean and well stocked with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, lake toys and floaties, books, movies and games. And the popcorn machine was a big hit with the kids! Mike was an excellent and responsive host. Would definitely book again!

Great Lake House!

This was our third year here and we already have next year booked! Everyone loves it! Everything you could possibly need and more, super close to Indiana Beach and the boat ramp and lift are a wonderful perk!

Another great stay!

This is our second time at this home. Our kids love the lake and had a great time. The owner is very communicative and helpful. The outdoor theater and bonfires are the best.

2nd time around

This was our 2nd stay for my wife, adult kids, grandkids and I. Great place with plenty of room inside and out for a large group without the feeling of being right on top of each other. My whole family enjoyed the stay, we would defintly rent again!

The house was very nice and clean. It is well stocked for all kinds of situations. I had a family gathering and this home was wonderful. I thought I had enough life jackets for all but I was one short and there just happen to be an extra in the ski room. The kids and adults enjoyed jumping off the dock into the water. The fire pit was great to get everyone calmed down so they could watch a movie and go to bed. The only thing we did not get to try was making some popcorn so hopefully next time.

My Aunt, who was affectionately known as "Aunt Gee", purchased this lake property back in 1965. Thirteen years old at the time, I was absolutely thrilled. I was equally thrilled when I took over ownership in 2013. The "Lake" has always been a very special place for me and I'm thrilled that I can share it with you.

I have two homes that sit directly on the lake, I stay in the smaller one which is known as the "Boat House", there is actually a boat house underneath it. You will stay in the larger home which is actually two cottages that have been connected, formerly known as the "Big Cottage" and the "Guest House".

I spend about half of my time at the lake, I also have a home in Jefferson Park on the northwest side of Chicago.

Quiet lakefront community, very rural around here. Amusement Park is five miles away. The lakefront yard is nicely secluded between the two buildings.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There is a concrete boat ramp on this property, very convenient for launching a boat. Large 8' x 16' floating pier with 120' concrete sea wall. Indoor and Outdoor Movies, Indoor theatre with ceiling mounted projector, 6 foot pull down projection screen and surround sound system. Unique outdoor theatre experience available, does require good weather conditions and projector set up, 100 inch by 160 inch outdoor projection screen is up all season. Both projectors can connect to the internet for NetFlix etc... and will play DVDs as well. You might want to consider bringing your laptop or tablet which can in most cases be readily input into the projector. Popcorn maker, makes great movie style popcorn. Firewood included, I keep a good supply of firewood on hand. I know what a hassle it is to find firewood while on vacation, Some folks bring their own which is always appreciated but don't worry I will always have plenty of firewood. Note that this is a year round rental with reduced rates during the off season. Scenic here all year long, after all you are located right on the water.
