"Penamar Ocean Club - A Home Away From Home"

Penamar is a safe and peaceful place to stay. The perfect location, considering the short distance to experience a variety of adventurous attractions on the East Coast of Puerto Rico. We are located across the street from Villa Marina. A range of catamaran charters and boat rentals are available to take you on daily trips to the Cays for snorkeling at Icacos Island or Palominos. We are five minutes from Seven Seas Beach, El Conquistador Waldorf Astoria Resort with a Golf course, the Coqui Water Park, and the world’s largest Bio-Bay in Las Croabas. It is fifteen minutes from the former US Navy Base Roosevelt Roads, where you can take a ferry to the islands of Vieques and Culebra. In Culebra, you can visit the Forbes top-rated beach in the world, Flamenco Beach. We are 15 minutes from the beautiful Luquillo beach. A twenty minutes drive brings you to El Yunque national tropical forest. The only tropical forest protected by the US National Forest Service. It’s a great place to stay while on vacation!!!

The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My teens loved their rooms. Very spacious. It was my family’s first time in PR and the location was perfect. We plan on returning to the same location for our next trip.

Our stay at Iris and Angel apartment exceed our expectations. From the booking to the end of our stay. Communication was excellent,the apartment was clean and well equipped. This apartment is so beautiful. Also the convenience of many touristic places to go are close by a short drive. We will definitely come back!

Great stay

Our stay was short but we had a great time. The check in and out instructions were clear. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The apartment was located close to the gated entrance which was convenient since we left several times. The pool near the apartment was a little small but there is a bigger one further up on the next level that is very nice. We would highly recommended.

Beautiful Spot for Vacation!

Booking with Iris and Angel was a breeze - the property was well-located, they responded quickly, and everything was exactly as described. When there was a slight hiccup in our arrival Iris was quick to help and guide us through exactly what we needed to access the space. This spot was the perfect home base for a few nights in Fajardo. We had 4 adults and 1 infant and we were all comfortable and had plenty of space. There were lots of good recommendations for the area, the condo felt secure, and the check out process was incredibly simple. Iris and Angel were communicative throughout and proactive in letting us know where to find helpful baby items. We had a great stay in a fun area and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful experience!

We had a fabulous experience! This condo was very clean, well-equipped and in a great location for all the activities our family wanted to do! The hosts provide a wonderful rental experience with their thoughtful details and excellent communication. Our family loved exploring the wonders of the island during the day and then coming back to play and relax at the complex in the afternoons/evenings. That you, Iris and Angel! Perfect Place to Stay in Fajardo!

We loved this beautiful condo! It was perfect for our family of 4, though it sleeps 6. Iris was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. They had everything we needed from kitchen items to beach gear. The bedrooms were decorated so beautifully. Everything was very comfortable. I would absolutely return to stay here!

2025 Senior Trip

Our stay at PeñaMar Ocean Club was a great place to enjoy the hot sunny days while on a vacation. We were very grateful to be there during a not too hot not too cold weather radius. This was a great place to rent. We had everything we needed - beach towels, beach chairs, coffee and other kitchen extras that were very helpful. The landlord was very responsive and friendly. The property is well located and cared for.

Perfectly Stocked Retreat for Six

The condo was beautifully furnished and well-stocked with everything we needed, from lawn chairs to beach towels. Perfect for six adults, the lovely patio offered a peaceful retreat. The kitchen had basic supplies, and we appreciated the access to pools, a washer/dryer, and cooking utensils. Highly recommend staying here!

Puerta Rico stay

The property is centrally located to the sights we wanted to see. It is also close to a route with many great restaurants. It was very quiet area with. You need a car ot taxi to get to most of the places. There are several within walking distance from the condo. We liked that there was a security gate to get into the complex. Iris was very responsive to our requests and a very good host. The condo itself was very spacious with every amenty you will need. There are a few things that could use some freshening up in the condo but otherwise a great location, great pools, and wonderful host!.

Our stay at PeñaMar Ocean club condo was outstanding. The Condo was amazing, clean, comfortable and location perfect. Everything needed for my family to cook and enjoy themselves was available. The rooms and bed were very comfortable. Check in and check instructions were clear and easy to follow. The Host, Iris was super and very easy to communicate with when ever we had questions. We will definitely stay here again if available.

Family Spring Break Trip

We had 6 of us stay over spring break (2 adults and 4 teens) and the place worked well for our group. We had a great trip and made lots of family memories. We really enjoyed the El Yunque Rainforest, a day in Old San Juan and a charter boat trip to Icacos.

Great Time

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. We arrived at the property late at night so the drive to Fajardo felt long and tiring. I do want to mentioned that if you have a late flight coming into San Juan make sure you get something to eat in the areal before getting to Fajardo because most restaurants in the area are closed especially during the week and thus it becomes challenging to find some decent food. I also appreciated the fact that there are beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella in our room to take with us whenever we were going to the beach we didn't need to buy any. Waking up right next to the marina and seeing the boat felt so amazing. The view from the pool on the second level is fantastic I took a lot of pictures. Groceries stores are within 10 minutes from the hotel. The bottled water brand Nikinni is one best I've ever had. I could keep going. Luquillo beach is so gorgeous like many others. We were unable to go to Flamenco beach due to tickets being sold out. Our stay was wonderful and we will be back!!! I can never forget this experience!

Excellent condo in a nice area

Condo was clean and as advertised, right next to the Marina which offers many activities within walking distance. Nice selection of bars/restaurants within walking distance. Only issue we encountered in the unit was a leaking AC unit, but the owner was very quick and responsive to our request for assistance with this and assured us the AC units are in process of replacement. Only thing I wish this had was being closer to a beach (approx 7 min drive away), however it is not advertised as having a beach in walking distance so we were overall very happy with our choice to stay here!

Great host and very clean

Pros: Very clean apartment. Very safe in a gated community. Nice location if you're planning to be in Fajardo. Iris was very easy to work with and communicated well. We lost the key and she helped us get into the unit quickly. The apartment had everything we needed plus extras like beach towels, chairs, and a cooler to use. Cons: No ocean view. Security guard at the front gate and pool staff weren't very nice. Hot tub didn't work. We didn't realize how far from San Juan we were or how bad traffic would be commuting back and forth. Beds in the unit were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Not enough comfortable seating in the living room. $50 fee for a lost key seems very expensive. All in all, we had a lovely trip but probably would not stay here again for the price.
