This was a gem of a find for my family and I. We had a wedding to attend and were in town for 4 days 3 nights. The property was smaller than we originally thought but it was clean, fit my large family and had absolutely gorgeous architecture. The accommodations were on point, expectations on guests during checkout were minimal compared to other places. It really felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet at night, busy during the day so expect traffic but walking is always an option for day time.

Our family was able to all stay together to watch our daughter run the Long Beach Marathon. Plenty of room, wonderful clean home , equipped with everything we could possibly need.

Long Beach Convention Stay

Great comfortable stay within 7 minutes drives to convention center. Great off street parking available for the house. Would definitely stay here again if coming to the convention area

Wonderful stay for our family of Eight!

Although brief, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything was as described, if not BETTER. Mr Travis Hall, our host, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process -- and our reservation was not an easy one by any means! Thank you Mr Travis! We highly recommend this gem of a home, especially for a family!! :)

Check-in and communications were very easy. House was as described. Interior spaces are simple but solid; most rooms have an in-window AC/fan unit, which was helpful for our stay. It is in a good location though it is on a busy street. The driveway can fit 2-3 cars. Street parking looks like a nightmare - thankfully, we didn't need it. But that is typical in DT long Beach. I would recommend this place.

Great Character

Very clean, nicely decorated historic house that is very spacious. Convenient driveway for parking as parking can be hectic in Long Beach. Location is ideal with our favorite restaurants nearby. Host is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

The place was tidy but not clean. The soles ofMy feet were black just by walking around the house. The area isn’t the best and the WiFi never worked the entire time we were there.

Great house for family and friends

The property was comfortable and well-equipped. We were only there for a single night but were very comfortable. Fold out futon in living room, plus a couple bedrooms downstairs and a couple bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of toilets and comfortable kitchen with a little kids table and chairs in the kitchen that the littles enjoyed.

Beautiful

Beautiful property, close to everything! It is Long Beach - which isn’t always the cleanest. But this house was! We had ages from 2 up to 55. Everyone enjoyed it and was comfortable! Host was very responsive!!

Cute place!

The house is a very good size for our family of five. Our dogs enjoyed the small back yard. It was very nice. The home was very clean. We appreciated the driveway, as street parking would have been difficult to find. Everything was great, our only complaint was the air conditioning. We visited during a very warm time of the year. The only a/c was a small window unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It made the one bedroom very comfortable but did nothing to cool off the whole house. Ceiling fans and floor fans helped, but only if you sat directly in front of them. The house was so uncomfortable during the day that we had to go out very early and come back to a hot house in the evenings. This house needs more a/c units for the summer. I would not stay here in the summer.

Disappointing and Frustrating Stay

We had planned to stay 4 nights at the home while in town for business. We had arranged to host a business meeting with local clients in the house, but when we arrived the house had a foul order making it unpleasant to be in the first floor. Additionally we did not know that there was not central air and that the window units were loud and would prevent us from having a professional conversation. Finally the furniture was the same as in the pictures, so it was not the set up we had planned on for our meetings. We contacted the manager with our concerns and he delayed arriving at a resolution for hours - wasting our time. The location was not good and the outdoor space was very small and unpleasant. The chain lock on the front door was broken, leaving us feel unsafe. Overall it was a frustrating stay that cost us a great deal of money. I would not recomend staying here.
