Our place is brand new - gut renovated, and only 13 minutes away from Times Square.

You will have the BEST Manhattan view only 30 seconds walking to our house. It is family friendly neighborhood with 24/7 public transportation access to Manhattan.

All of our furnitures are brand new, and house is located 1 minute walking to huge supermarket.

We live walking distance from this house, and available to answer any questions you have.

The property was clean and getting ahold of the owners was easy, but you have to use Whatsapp. We had a couple of issues come up and they responded quickly and most was resolved quickly. Downside was the amount of stairs to get to the apartment. Beds were pretty comfortable, but are starting to slant in the middle. Remote for tv we could not find so I had to download a remote for the tv on my phone to make it work. Overall though it was a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ozzie’s appartement. The three airconditioned bed rooms are great! There’s a direct bus to New York which is very convenient and usually takes between 20-40 min (depending on traffic). Ozzie recommended to walk a few minutes to the coast and enjoy the beautiful skyline of Manhattan which we did and definitely recommend as well!

Clean, Comfrotable, and Convenient

The apartment was perfect for our group of seven. The neighborhood felt safe and vibrant, and has amazing views of manhattan from the nearby park. Parking can be tricky but we were able to find safe and affordable options nearby, and utilized the public transportation options daily. We were very pleased with our stay!

The location is great - just on the other side of the Hudson River in West New York / New Jersey, within a quiet and nice borough. Very good possibilities to buy food or drinks, but also small restaurants. The transfer to New York is really good - by ferry or by bus - both of them fast and directly. The kitchen has all you need for the whole family, as well as the bathroom. The apartment is big, with 3 bedrooms, big kitchen and living room. The only thing we didn’t like it were the beds - they were for us not so comfortable because they were very soft, we like beds who are medium to hard. The host, Ozzie, was all the time we needed available and before we arrived he sent us so many precious informations - we have felt already welcomed. That’s why we can deeply recommend this apartment and the host, all the time! Thanks a lot Ozzie, and bye. Laura

overall bad experience. absolutely no parking, no communication with the owner until the day of check in. broken control remote, couch was also dented, no shower door so water just went outside of shower. it’s on second floor which is not mentioned. wont recommend to stay here

Jersey city family vacation

Compared to the city this was very spacious. We loved the area we hung out in the kitchen most nights. They offered us great suggestions for places around the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Great neighborhood, comfy apartment

We were in town for a conference at the Javits Center in Manhattan. This apartment was perfect as it slept six of us comfortably, was very conveniently located near public transit (bus, ferry) to NYC, and was located in a neighborhood that felt very safe. I’d stay at this place again in a heartbeat!

Nothing was said about having to carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs. On a very sketchy street. Did not feel safe, the door knob was wiggly. Left to go to a hotel after the first night.

Close to NYC, no parking

The interior of the unit was clean, nice, and suitable for families. There is no parking available at this unit. I naĂŻvely thought that I might be able to find on-street or nearby parking, but this is not available. The only parking lots within a reasonable distance are municipal lots that have a very limited number of public parking spaces and were all taken each day (the rest are reserved).

My stay in NJ

Overall, it was a good budget-friendly stay with convenient access to Manhattan (close to a bus stop). However, if you are a light sleeper, the noise may be bothersome. Additionally, the mattresses may cause some discomfort for your back.

Good Apartment in West New York

This property fulfilled our needs during our week long visit to the Big Apple. We slept there and did very little else there since we were on the move the entire week. The apartment is clean and has the necessities only. Easy check-in and check-out. Better if you do not have a car but are willing to ride the bus into NYC each day.

Communication was easy with Ozzie and he did his best to help us with any question we had. The appartment was perfect for a family of four with two teenagers wanting their own space. The parking was a little bit challenging at our arrival but we followed the instruction and all went well

Perfect Location!

This apartment is perfect for people looking to explore NYC, having a good place to sleep in a convenient location away from the city buzz. Amazing location in a good neighborhood, walking distance to a bus stop that drops you off at NY bus terminal. It’s no more than 30 minutes door to door. Astonishing view from NY skyline during most of the way. Hosts were amazing giving very detailed instructions for parking, public transportation, city activities, etc. Parking was just as described by hosts. Recommend following their instructions to get a spot. It worked really well for us. Given that it’s located in an old building, the apartment itself is very decent. Kitchen and Bathroom were renovated and are looking good. Beds are comfortable and bedrooms are spacious. We were a party of 9 and that was exactly what we were looking for.

Deceitful representation

Property is actually in New Jersey not New York. Says its 7 miles to Barclay's Center but doesn't tell you that you have to go thru the Lincoln Tunnel and over the Brookland Bridge and to get there and will take over an hour and a half. There is zero parking , period . Options to park were absolutely ridiculous . We got there at 11:30 Pm (after the games) spent over 45 minutes trying to park. Finally just left and never stayed there, total waste of money. Owner only lets you know of the parking problem a couple days before your arrival when its too late to so anything about it. My first experience with Vrbo and it sucked.

Great Owners - Pretty good place to stay

Ozzie was communicative & responded quickly to texts. It met our basic needs & was roomy. Supplies available are TP, paper towels, dishes, pots, and pans (but no can opener or baking pans) needed more linens, but they did bring us some to have enough for our party of seven. There were basic spices and great to have coffee! It appears partially renovated some things could be better. Like taped items, no smoke alarms, no working table lamps, and no chairs for the living room so we didn't have to use dining room chairs. It does NOT have a waterfront view but you can walk down to the river (20 minutes) to see the NYC skyline and it is spectacular. The neighborhood seemed to be a decent middle-class Hispanic/Latin area. The people were friendly and helpful. Transportation into NYC was challenging. Some buses run close to the apartment but on the weekend there is not an express bus (which tends to run late due to traffic anyway). Taking the non-express bus can take well over an hour to get to NYC so it wasn't very convenient. Keep in mind when using Ubers you have to pay the toll to go through the tunnel - a costly mistake! Extra things we would have liked to have for comfort welcoming & ease are: Notebook on kitchen table listing: Wifi password, Restaurants close by and directions, Grocery, liquor store, drug store etc. Actual distance and directions to places like the Waterfront, Ferry, NYC, and transportation - options & schedules. Tourist sites - pamphlets, directions.

NYC Visit

This was a rental for my daughter's bachelorette party. It was great for our needs, but just a tad smaller than we expected. Here are our overall reviews: Check-in - We were about 15 minutes early and there was no key in the lockbox. I reached out to Ozzie and he quickly responded that the maid may still be there and to check the second lockbox. The key was there and he was correct, the maid was finishing up. KITCHEN: It is very small. There is no dishwasher or ice maker. There is a convenience store across the street if you need to buy ice. Luckily, I had a bag in one of our coolers so we just used that for the weekend. There are VERY few pots/pans or dishes. NO large bowls. But we made do. SEATING: For a house that sleeps 8, there are not enough seating areas in the common room. But again...since the trundle did not stay attached, we simply turned it into a second sofa. We never turned on the television. BATHING: Plenty of hot water but water pressure wasn't great. MISCELLANEOUS: The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The bus stop is about two blocks away but VERY easy to find and we figured out the bus service quickly. Uber/Lyft is minimum $50 one way into the city. Bus rides to Times Square took between 15 and 30 minutes depending on traffic. I only mention the negatives as an FYI. This was PERFECT for what we needed and I would definitely stay there again if we needed a place a place near NYC!

8 jours chez Ozzie

L’appartement d’Ozzie est situĂ© Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied de l’Hudson avec une promenade avec une vue incroyable sur la sky line. Des bus passent trĂšs rĂ©guliĂšrement (entre 2 et 20 minutes d’attente) et vous amĂšnent Ă  Times Square pour 3,5$ en 15 Ă  30 minutes 24/24 7/7L’appartement est propre, Ă©quipĂ© de façon assez basique mais suffisante. Le wifi est un peu capricieux mais nous Ă©tions 5 dessus
Un grand supermarchĂ© est Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied ouvert jusqu’à 22h30 tous les jours. Je recommande vivement cet appartement. Être au calme le soir aprĂšs une journĂ©e dans NY est vraiment top!

L'habitatge estĂ  molt ben situat, a prop de parades de bus que t'acosten a Port Authority en 20 minuts. Pel que fa a la vivenda les fotos sĂłn exactes a allĂČ que t'hi trobarĂ s, perĂČ sĂ­ que cal dir que, a dia d'avui, estĂ  envellida i que Ă©s necessĂ ria alguna reparaciĂł i canvis en algun moble, cuina, bany, aire condicionat i llits.Disposa de tot el necessari per a una estĂ ncia vacacional i l'amfitriĂł Ă©s molt amable i atent en tot moment. Many people surprisingly don’t realize that our neighborhood is closer to Manhattan comparing to Brooklyn, Queens, Astoria etc. Our neighborhood is super SAFE, many families and young professionals live here - You can walk in our neighborhood 5am in the morning / Enjoy Manhattan skyline without any issue. We have amazing South & Central American community here which comes with GREAT restaurants across to our property.
