The good: The house is in an amazing location and the beach is semi private so it is a great place to just relax and enjoy the environment. It is also close to grocery and downtown for shopping, restaurants and activities. The kitchen is nice and large with pretty much everything you would need. The beds are comfy and the two decks are fun to sit and relax. Nice place to walk the beach.The not so good. The house can be difficult to find esp if you arrive at night bc there is no street # to identify it. There is only a tiny dim light at the top of the landing of the front stairs making it difficult to navigate. We had to use a flashlight. The railing next to stairs inside is very wobbly. The electric lock on the front door didn't work so we had to use a key. Inside the house a lot of the lighting doesn't work and there is nothing to indicate what switches control what lights as there are many switches. Some furniture is dirty/needs replacing such as the two chairs in the great room that have massive stains on them and the chairs at the tall kitchen table are pretty worn. In both areas they look very water stained from people possibly sitting in them with wet clothes. The pictures in the listing are also some what misleading. The beautiful rock stairs at the bottom of some of the pictures are not there. This was one of the main reasons we booked so we were disappointed. The flooring is damaged and has soft spots in places. We were warned about this just before arriving.
